Checked ppm and pH. I am very very impressed with this autoflower. It took everything I did and never stopped for recovery. She's a monster. Hopefully she keeps growing this way till the end of harvest! Regardless I'm just enjoying growing this autoflower. Thank you for checking out my grow!!!

Checked ppm and pH. I can't wait to see this plant actually start to bud. Hopefully she keeps going strong.
Thanks for checking out my grow!
Hey fam, my partner Legion Of Roots made a quick video of my tent and plants. I think he did a great job for a quick update video. If you got an extra minute please check out the video and let us know what you think? We would appreciate it!

@MangoDudu,
I don't use an EC meter, is there a way to convert my Primo Hanna TDS meter ( the red one ) numbers to EC? I really appreciate your advice and information!!!!
I couldn't figure out how to Edit the grow diary comment. I forgot to add that all the training in the description on week 3 started 6/20/21 and ended on 7/2/21. I know that's more then a week, but week 2 ended on 6/17/21.
So week 4 should of started 7/1/21. I just wanted to describe shortly everything done in those days. I apologize as I work 12 hour days everyday and lose track sometimes. I'll do a much better job about recording time and training from now on.
Hi man! Nice work and training! By experience i will not exceed 1.5 ec max with auto, iβve got best results with some quite heavy feeder with 1.2/1.3 range in flowering with rock solid flowers
@MangoDudu,
Actually I initially started out with 18/6, then went to 20/4, now I'm at 24. I noticed the first 4 weeks the roots grow faster with a dark period. But after the first 4 weeks a plant under 24 light will out grow that plant both above and below ground. After about 4 weeks the 24 hour plant roots blow past a plant under 18/6. That's just from my personal growing experience. I notice my plants only rest for about 2-3 hours and go right back to being perky the rest of the day. Also I should tell you I sleep 3 feet away from my tent and leave it wide open so we live in the same exact environment and lighting. I love growing and I'm obsessed about it and my plants. They live EXACTLY like I do, but they don't have to go to work lol.
@Aquemini, perfect mate! I know they convert the CO2 during the day but i know that the roots are more likely to grow overnight, they donβt need it but for a better future result is useful, but if you do only auto in perpetual you are fine
@MangoDudu,
Actually I know a lot of people use 18 hours of light but if you do some research you'll learn Cannabis plants are C3 plants. They dont need a dark period unless your trying to flower a photoperiod. What your seeing is my veg tent and it runs 24 hours because I run seedlings, autoflower, and Feminized. I do a perpetual grow system. Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate it. I did find a way to convert my TDS to EC so thanks again for that! I also store my meters like you said and I literally adjust and calibrate them before every single use. I like to be 100% on point. From my experience plants grow a lot faster and stronger under 24 hours of light too. Google C3 plants it's very very interesting information conducted by professional growers and Universities.
Hey there, everything looks great! The best advice I can offer is with hydro less is more. I'm in week 5 of flower running 600ppm and thats dialed in. Check ppm daily to see if it's increasing or decreasing so you can dial in plants desired ppm.. If numbers rise nutes are too strong, if numbers fall bump up the nutes and if they stay the same you've hit the perfect number. A couple eye hooks in the tops of the net pots help with early trainning too! Be careful with the floralicious plus too, I find it gunks up my buckets and pumps and it stains the roots in a way that looks like root rot, I prefer diamond nectar for the humic and fulvic acids. Off to a good start mate, happy growing.
@Ner0z,
Ok that's good to know. I have not done a res change yet honestly. I was going to only do 1 during transition to flowering unless I get lockouts or like you said a negative pH going. I add a little extra water everyday and try to keep my buckets at the same water level. I keep pre mixed 1 gallon bottles of nutrients for each bucket and top it off with those when ppm drops. I got a nice balance right now that seems to be working very well. Unfortunately with this method it's hard to keep up with how much there drinking, but eating nutes is consistently the same. I was really concerned about them over drinking because I'm in Southern California and it's been getting 100F lately. But I added that Armor Si before the heat wave and even at 85F they seem to be ok.
@Aquemini, excellent. It seems like you're pretty close to the sweet spot. I'd guess 650-700ppm would be stable. How it works is the plants will only take the nutrients they need out of the water, so if they are over fed they drink the water and leave the extra nutrients behind which then raises your resevoir ppm. If they are hungrier they'll eat more nutrients than water causing your ppm to drop. When it stays the same it means they're eating nutrients and drinking water at the exact same rate which is exactly what you want! I also use GHE nutes and ph rising is completely expected, if however you see it dropping its time for a res change, it could also mean root problems but it looks like you're straight cruising!
@Ner0z,
Thank you, I really appreciate that! I am in week 4 at 600ppm, The plants drink water and lower the ppm anywhere from 10-25 ppm a day and the pH slowly climbs over 3-6 days. I've been giving them an under feeding on Floralicious Plus, but I did just bump it up a little too. I actually didn't know the PPM was best if it stayed about the same. I'll have to find that sweet spot! Luckily all my roots are very very white so far. I'll keep posting pics of them to see how long they stay that way. Honestly my res is on the darker brown side but hasn't turn the roots brown yet.
@Odin9,
Thank you I appreciate it. I believe in heavy training and defoliation on Autoflowers. But I start way earlier then most people. You'll have to experiment and see what works for you. But never cut an autoflower that is small or growing slowly. Once it actually has some bud building on it you can cut any leaves away blocking nodes.
@Lazuli,
Actually I ended up just using duct tape and tapping it back on. It healed back onto the plant in 24 hours. So now I always tape broken branches and 99% of the time it heals. Other then that I'm normally pretty private and haven't had much problems. My landlord came over to do repairs once and stood right next to my tent and looked at it. He never even said anything, or even asked about it or anything. All I did was close it up so no light leaked and I turned my fans on low so they were silent. I even carried multiple plants/ clones and seedlings right passed them and they told me I had beautiful plants. So I think they don't even know what a Cannabis plant looks like lol.
@Aquemini, haha i love that branch story its amazing π so did u root it and just let it go ? Haha i thought i was greedy Thats fucking epic i love it. Do u have more grow stories ? About nosey neighbours or something crazy
@SegaYGriega,
Yeah running these 2 TS1000 are pretty amazing for veg. You can get really tight nodes, I decided to change methods now. I run 2 TS1000 with a Growers choice Master Pursuit 500w cmh with a 3K-R bulb. Definitely stretched the bottoms, but the stems and leaves are very strong and thick. Once it gets closer to the LEDS it starts making tight node spacing. So this will be great to clear my tent out and start filling my 4x4 with 1 or 2 plants and get scrog net and pull maximum yield.
@JamMAKEcan,
I have done soil, but not coco. My theory was soil for flavor, DWC hydroponics for speed and yield. I'm trying to master the perpetual grow with only 1 tent that runs 24hrs, and a dark room for flowering.
great diary, shows me that the possibilities are endless. I am a total noob, had no idea you could even run a 24 hours schedule. Off to do more studying. Kudos Aquemini. Happy harvest to you when it comes, the frost looks beautiful. Great tune on the youtube vid too
@@Koto_420_UK,
Thanks for the kind words, I truly appreciate it. I get really busy with 12 hour work days 6 days a week but I love growing and honestly I really enjoy trying new things and experimenting. I don't really do anything the same unless it turns out absolutely fantastic. I really appreciate you checking out my grow group Legion Of Roots on YouTube. It will be a channel of all my growing friends and myself. Were just learning about video editing lol.
@JamMAKEcan,
I appreciate you very, very much!!! You have been giving me such nice compliments through most of this grow, You kept me encouraged. Thank YOU!!!
