First attempt: Hydro RP Skywalker Kush

First week of growing. Not slow but not as fast as the other 2. After how quickly it sprouted I thought it would of grew extremely fast. But all is well.

Got busy and didn't take pictures for 2 days, sorry about that. Pretty simple week, it seems a little light green. I assume it's the plant it self. Couldn't be deficiency, maybe light bleaching? I turned my lights from 100% to 50%

Ok so I was wrong about the Skywalker, it was not the light. I realized the other plants would have the same problem. So my mind made a connection that it must be deficiency. I bumped the PPM up from 350 to 450, then pH balanced, fimmed the top leaves at 3rd node and did a heavy foliar feeding on it. The next day this thing blew up! I mean I couldn't believe how it take such a leap and bound in 12 hours while I was at work. It was HUNGRY. So now hopefully it does what I wanted it to. Bush up big time! Because of the plants reaction I went ahead and topped the fimmed part off, as it did its job forcing lower growth and I didn't want those chopped leaves up there, and hey, more colas, and make it even bushier? Yeah ok.

7/4/21 First, the yellow spots are my fault. I gave her a heavy foliar feeding of Si and I sprayed all the plants very heavily. They normally take it fine. But I seen it puddle up on the 1 leaf.... I looked at it... And told myself it would be fine. Next day I had spots EXACTLY where it puddled. Kind of disappointed in myself when I know better. Setup was upgraded, I upped the PPM to 600, adjusted the pH to 6.0. I'm just letting it grow right now. It definitely started bushing up like I was hoping for. Let's hope it keeps going. Now it's been fimmed, then I topped that part after the lower growth began growing vigorously. I will keep topping it to build a nice hedge, this will go in a larger space with a scrog to fill out. I will take clones and use this plant as my larger yield strain. (hopefully lol) I'll update daily Any suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated!! 7/5/21 Got moved to a larger setup. I did LST by gently bending the branches ( not supercropping ) and I did a little tucking but it's so compact and dense I couldn't do much. It's like a straight bush. I checked ppm and pH and adjusted to keep ppm between 550 and 600, pH to 6.0 and removed the large fan leaves. 7/6/21 Checked ppm and pH, did some defoliation and topped all branches. Roots are growing like crazy on this thing. They are very very white, don't let the picture fool you. 7/7 pH and ppm check, defoliated the top leaves for light exposure to stimulate growth. 7/8 normal pH and ppm check.

7/9 Normal pH and ppm check. Defoliated the rest of the large fan leaves because the under growth showed immediate response the next day. I also topped all the branches and cola's. So there should be 10 or more colas stimulated to grow at this point. I am trying to build this stem and branches as strong as possible. Its already very thick, at the end I am going to try and fill my 4x4x6.5 with this 1 plant for maximum harvest. I'll be growing and harvesting other plants throughout the process. Remember I am a noob so I may fail lol. But I'm going to try. 7/10 checked ppm and pH 7/11 checked ppm and pH 7/12 checked ppm and pH 7/13 checked ppm and pH 7/14 I did some more defoliation. Please note this girl is for a long term project. She will be one of the last to get flowered. I am building the strength of the branches and stems. I am removing fan leaves and only keeping newer growth. Yes this is slowing the plant down but building the branches and root mass. This little lady has 12 solid branches already prepared to be cola's. When the time comes I will allow it to fully grow out, but I am DELIBERATELY trying to keep it small and slow it down for now. 7/15 checked ppm and pH 7/16 checked ppm and pH forgot pictures sorry

7/17 Check pH and ppm, upped the ppm to 800. I've defoliated her multiple times already. The branches got a great structure and are super thick already. I think it's time to start letting her really grow out. 7/18 PPM and pH check 7/19 PPM and pH check 7/20 PPM and pH check 7/21 PPM and pH check 7/22 PPM and pH check. She is really starting to fill up and out and gaining size quickly. I had to defoliate every 3 days to keep her small. I was chopping all fan leaves off. Now I'm letting her grow wild to fill out and building a canopy

7/24 Checked ppm and pH. She's really starting to fill out. I'm just letting her grow now, almost all her training is already complete. Way down the road I plan on shoving her under a Scrog for maximum yield. This one I picked out as a long term project because its supposed to be a high yielder but we will see! 7/31 This Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush is another crazy strong plant. I chopped and defoliated this plant a lot and extremely. It passed Harlequin in a few days. Its quickly catch my OG Diesel Kush autoflower that's in flower. I may have to flip her to flower soon. I think she's going to take over the tent by herself. 8/1 Checked ppm and pH. Decided to start flowering this plant soon. 8/2 Checked ppm and pH, she's growing fast and big. 8/3 Checked ppm and pH Plants growing really big and fast. She gets her first night of sleep. Sorry guys the plan was to fill a 4x4 with her but I'm flowering her early to rotate plants out. 8/4 Checked ppm and pH 8/5 Checked ppm and pH 8/6 Checked ppm and pH

8/7 Checked ppm and pH. I'm very impressed with this Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush plant. Its strong, it drinks slowly but constantly, even when the buckets low and the ppm hits 1300 it's like it doesn't even care. The pH can drift from 5.5 to 6.5 over a week and it doesn't seem to effect the plant. I pulled a clone off her right before she got her first night of sleep. She's been getting sleep everyday for 12 hours for the last 3-4 days now. 8/8 Ppm and pH check 8/9 Ppm and pH check 8/10 Ppm and pH check 8/11 Ppm and pH check. I did an early flowering defoliation to promote lower growth. 8/12 Ppm and pH check 8/13 Ppm and pH check. Skywalker OG is one of my favorite strains. I'm really excited to try this Skywalker Kush, I'm really impressed how easy it is to grow this strain. I should of filled a 4x4 by itself to get maximum yield. I may do a 2nd run and do that with a scrog net.

8/14 Ppm and pH check. Really impressed. I just like how this plant grows and is very strong. It smells like sweet citrus earthy OG. Its going to get bigger then expected but I should be ok. 8/15 Checked ppm and pH 8/16 Checked ppm and pH 8/17 Checked ppm and pH 8/18 Checked ppm and pH 8/19 Checked ppm and pH 8/20 Checked ppm and pH. I love this plant. Its beautiful and easy to grow, plus Skywalker OG is my favorite strain so I'm really excited about trying Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush. Its already getting extremely frosty, its unbelievable!!!

8/21 Checked ppm and pH. Loving this plant and strain. Can't wait to try it!!! 8/22 Checked ppm and pH 8/23 Checked ppm and pH 8/24 Checked ppm and pH 8/25 Checked ppm and pH 8/26 Checked ppm and pH 8/27 Checked ppm and pH. If you haven't noticed the frost on this plant is insane!!!! So glad I got a monster crop clone! I think I found a pheno keeper!!!

8/28 Checked ppm and pH. Wow...just wow... I don't know if I got lucky but this Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush pheno type is AMAZING..... The frost is so heavy and there isn't even buds. I'm definitely keeping this one in rotation.

8/29/21 Checked ppm and pH 8/30/21 Checked ppm and pH 8/31/21 Checked ppm and pH 9/1/21 Checked ppm and pH 9/2/21 Checked ppm and pH 9/3/21 Checked ppm and pH 9/4/21 Checked ppm and pH. I really like the frost level of this plant. The buds are already getting fatter so I can't wait to see what happens after they swell!!! Super excited to try this Skywalker Kush as Skywalker OG is my favorite strain.

I love Skywalker Kush, I took multiple clones and monster crop clones of the first plant. She was definitely a keeper. I grew 4 harvests off the clones. She yield’s heavy dense nugs that are hard to break up and hold some serious weight. The frost is like nothing I’ve ever had before. I love this smoke, I couldn’t put it down for 6 months straight. Now I’m pheno hunting an even better Skywalker OG strain to cross with the Gorilla Glue 4 X Banana Butter Cups I got from Square One Genetics.
