๐Germination began by dropping the seed into a glass containing a solution of RO water and H2O2. After 18 hrs I placed the seed onto a cellulose towel soaked with the H20/H202 solution. the next day it had a tap root about 1/4" long and I placed it into a shallow small hole in the 3 gallon cloth pot. I kept the soil moist with the seedling mixture of General Hydroponics. I used enough solution to provide about 30% volume run-off.
๐Preparation of the media started a couple days before germination. I re-hydrated the compressed coco coir with de-chlorinated H20. I de-chlorinate my water with a carbon filter tank. I rinsed the media thoroughly, then rinsed it with pH'ed RO water mixed with a little bit of calmag. I rinsed it a few times over the next couple days and measured the run-off till the pH was below 6 and the EC was below 2. I will be doing Frequent Fertigation, giving a minimum of 1.5l of nutrient solution 2x a day. I will measure run-off for pH and EC. I will try to maximize the nutrient inflow to as much as the plant wants. I will keep the media in check with volume of inflow and occasional low EC inflow.
Fantastic looking plant. Iโve had a pack of those seeds laying around for over a year. Thanks for showing itโs potential. Iโm definitely gonna grow a couple.
2.4 grams per watt with just a 150 watt light......that has to be close to a record. Man you are the master!!!! Can I follow along get some tips from a real pro like you?
