First grow and super new, this is exciting. First lesson, light was too high with 40% power. The leggage was done, after propping it up with wire, decided to just bite the bullet and transplant. Working in 2x2x4 and being my first grow, I don't want it to get too crowded. So the Pineapple Express will stay in the Solo and OG Kush in 3 gallon. I have more of the two, next grow will be vice versa just to see how it goes.

Watered twice, barely that much. Maybe a solo cups worth. Bottled water, running through a back stock before I start PH'n and what not. I'll start LST sometime this week, maybe tonight for at least the PE in the solo cup. Who knows, this is all new to me. They look good and they make me smile, so no complaints so far! I can't stop looking in on them. Hope to have some bends to show next update!

It's the start of week 3. Not much to say, barely watered (solo cups worth) as they haven't looked thirsty? With other plants, I'm waiting for it to get droopy. Should I not? Started LST on OG Kush in 3g, may have started early. Think I should have waited for the next node to fully come out. I'm working with tight light space, it can go up no further now so we'll see how it works out. Pineapple Express is killing it, must be genetics it's looking huge right now compared to the OG Kush. Tent smells great too, love opening it.

Adjusted a bit on the LST, it looks crowded but hope OG Kush branches out some more so I can pull down on those branches. Pineapple Express is showing signs of something, so I decided to feed it with some FF Grow Big - 2.5ml in 1 gallon, fed it about half a solo cup, until it drained out. Also did 1.5 solo cups into OG Kush. I've entered new territory. Pre flowering, nutes, and seeing what the plant wants. Fingers crossed.

Measurements are based on OG Kush. This week was interesting. The yellowing of the leaves happed overnight after feeding her w/ no nutes. I feel it was from the Deer Park party size water container, ignored the PH and it was the PH that caused it. Came in at 8. I had never considered, since I did test the runoff and that was 6.3. Went to tap, fed today at 6.6ph after adding the nutes then adjusting ph. Reworked the LST, this thing is bushy! Small leaves covering what will most likely be popcorn, it's just so crowded. I think it came out better in the end. Pineapple Express in in the solo is taking about a 14~ oz per feeding. I foresee needing to feed her multiple times a day down the road. It's doable, interested to see the outcome.

Did the last bit of LST on the OG Kush. Steady 6.6ph for both plants, same nute schedule although I did lose track which gallon was which (I have since marked the respective containers). Aiming for 75-77F and 45-50% RH now since it's in flower. Smells great in there. I think the Pineapple Express is the way it is because of the solo cup, so I have been watering it a bit more as it runs right through. My attachment is with the OG, so this Pineapple Express is more of an experiment at this time.

First grows are fun. The Pineapple Express (Solo) is hungry I think. I've fed it more often, letting it soak up runoff with nutes (same as last week) and today with water + cal mag. OG Kush is not liking life. I'm waiting on a PPM tester to arrive later this week, could not find local. Fed a gallon of water today w/ cal mag - tap and dechlorinated with 6.7ph - run off tested at 6.1, saved some to test PPM, will save next watering as well. Posted the OG to Reddit and the consensus is mixed, nute lock or needs cal mag, so I have just done water and cal-mag, will do water only on next feeding. Will no more when I get eyes on the PPM.

Should I defoliate the OG Kush Auto? It is either nute locked or hungry for something right now. It's super bushy, I am not confident a lot of leaves are covering bud sites as this canopy is poorly created on my part.

I think adding some calmag was the right step. Unfortunately that will not repair the leaves that are already damaged. Keep your eye on the froth that wasn’t affected to make sure the problem isn’t still effecting her. I like to remove damaged or yellowing leaves- but leave the health ones alone. They are her solar panels- fueling her growth- and with autos you really don’t what them slowing down. 🌱

Your plant is showing the detrimental effects of growing with a totally un-natural 24/0 light schedule, or,- weeks and/or months without any "sleep". Nothing on planet Earth can survive or function properly without a "sleep" period every 24 hours and this is why 18/6 is the recommended lighting schedule. Plants, including cannabis, do need "sleep" for a properly functioning metabolism. There are certain metabolic processes a plant must undertake for a correctly functioning metabolism that can not be done when actively growing in light and this is why they NEED "sleep". It is called a "circadian rhythm" whereby all living things have a cycle of activity followed by sleep, every day. The 6 hours of "sleep" can be thought of as 2 hours to recover from the day, 2 hours to rest and 2 hours to get ready for the day ahead, and this is basically what occurs during the 6 hours of "sleep". Changing your light cycle to 18/6 should return some health to your plant and you might still be able to harvest some decent flowers. Going to 18/6 will not harm your plant, just the opposite, it should give you a much healthier plant once it recovers and finally has a proper circadian rhythm of awake/sleep/awake/sleep/awake/sleep. I would not stress this plant any further by defoliating, she needs those leaves for energy production, and she will need a lot of energy to get back to a normal metabolism. Those "potential bud sites" are relying on the leaves to make the energy they need to grow, so removing them would be pointless. Personally, I wish people would stop claiming that growing autos at 24/0 is ok, as it just is not. If you are keen to expand your knowledge, google "photosynthesis" and you will soon discover why a night/dark/sleep period is essential for proper plant function. I would encourage you to grow your next plants at 18/6 and not 24/0 and I guarantee that those plants will have almost no problems, if any, in comparison to these plants. Unfortunately these plants are over tired and need some "sleep" urgently. I would be giving them just plain water for their first week of 18/6, before resuming your current feeding and care schedule. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Another week down. Pineapple Express in the solo is doing it's thing, I feed it about twice a day with water and small amount of flowering nutes (big bloom and tiger bloom). I'm shocked it's still alive to be honest, cause it doesn't look it. OG Kush is putting on weight, at least the main cola it seems. I have only fed it water + calmag and it seems to still look messed up. Unsure if it's now the plant pulling nutes or what. Smell is NICE and it's freaking sticky. I got a PPM meter. Saved runoff from D49 was 2010, run off for D52 was 1610, and D55 1656. Trichomes on both are clear / milky, making its way towards the finish line, slowly but surely. See ya next week.

Cleaned up both plants a bit more. Accidently cut a bud in the middle of my OG Kush when trimming, this thing is compact. Been monitoring the location and things look well for the most part, nothing bad as a result. I've been feeding 3ml cal mag and 1/2 tsp of Big Bloom and will every time until harvest. Checking the trichomes, looks to be the expected "2 more weeks" ;)

One more week I'm thinking. I'll know more come Monday. Haven't changed anything, still feeding nute water with the above amounts every 2-3 days whenever she is hungry. Impatience gets you nowhere! Waiting and I'm watching these buds get a little bit bigger. OG Kush is fox tailing a bit, I believe that's genetics. It's not hot and the environment has been steady and not stressful.

Trichs seem to be cloudy / clear. So here goes another week. I may have to harvest next Monday, or I'll be forced to go until Week 13. Don't know which I should do. But I can't wait to harvest so I can start another run.

Decided to chop week 12. I will be indisposed this week and didn't want to push it to next week. Mostly cloudy and a few amber. First grow, it's all a learning experience. Didn't weight it wet. Had to chop a lot of larf, bad LST had this thing CONDENSED. Super shocked no mold or rot. Dry tent is sitting at 69F 52% - lung room is 65. I'd like it to be lower in temp but it is what it is. I think I should be okay. UPDATE: About 30~ grams. Picture of scale didn't come through. Stress and a lot of 8ph water at the beginning contributed to the light weight I assume. Since my solo provided almost a half an ounce.
