Here we go, this is my second grow with the amazing SANlight Q6W, this time I will upload only the interesting parts of the whole process. This week I use the old grow room without any tent. I am currently repurposing my wardrobe, so it will become my new tent in the following weeks.
I use the same Plagron nutrients as usual, everything is by the schedule, nothing changed. This time I will use only one lamp, and I'll have only 3 plants, because the landlord does not allow me anything else. Looking forward to the following weeks, I'll try to update the diary as soon as possible.😊
This is the fourth week of growing. These flowers are amazing. I've germinated them the same way, the same time with the same conditions, they got the same amount of soil, light, nutrients, but the difference between them is huge. The tallest plant is 100 cm, the middle is aprox. 50 cm, and the smallest is 15 centimetres. I have never seen any seeds with the same genetics and such a huge difference between each plant. The plants got blooming nutrients for the second time, except the smallest one, she still gets veg nutes. Unfortunately I've got fruit flies again, so I am protecting the plants with some glue traps. I had to buy some Secret Jardin Monkey Clip fans, because the old fan did not fit into the wardrobe. The wardrobe is actually a pretty good growbox, the only disadvantage is that it can't fit more than 3 plants.
This week nothing special happened. The plants started to bloom intensively. My smallest daughter got blooming nutrients for the first time, and I cut the unnecessary leaves. The growing area is clean now, looking forward the following weeks.
This week I started giving Green Sensation to the large plants. They are blooming rapidly from now on. I will add a stick as a support, because I feel that the plants will be too heavy for themselves,I don't want them to collapse. My small daughter still received power roots, and blooming nutrients. Unfortunately she is not growing as good as the rest, but I will keep her anyways.
This week was amazing! I gave green sensation for the first time, and the results are as good as I expected. The buds are incredible, the smell is amazing, everyone looks healthy so far! :) I hope everything will be alright, see you guys next week!
Today is Monday (09-08-21). I gave them nutrients for the last time, and it will be time for flushing from now on. I expect the harvest in two weeks for the first two plants, and the third will be ready in 4 weeks. Everything is going right so far, this Thursday I will increase the lights to 100% , so it will be a nice trichome boost in the last two weeks.
Here we go, this is the ninth week of growing. The plants look, and smell incredible right now, I've started flushing last week, and will continue this week , and I hope to make the harvest next Saturday. By the time I've been removing a lot of leaves, because they started to turn yellow, as the cycle of the plants is getting to its end. I am really satisfied with the overall quality of this plant, every aspect of it is amazing! My retarded daughter is getting herself together, but she still has almost 3-4 weeks until she's ready.
Two of my daughters are ready to harvest, so I'll harvest them first, and my retarded daughter will get another week or two, but unfortunately her buds are not growing very well, something went wrong with her from the beginning. I think I've messed up the nutrients once, and I gave her Green Sensation when she was just starting flowering. This could cause nutrient lockout. The strange fact about her is that she looks ugly, but she smells incredibly intensively. From now on I am only flushing her. In the worst case she will be perfect material for some top quality cannabutter. :)
This plant was amazing! It was really easy to grow, the genetics are good, and the "XXL" at the end of the name is a real deal. The Buds were incredibly huge, thick, and dense. At the end of the flowering period the plants almost couldn't hold them anymore. The plants started to bend. They smell really good, and the overall quality, and quantity ratio is more than satisfying. If I will order seeds, I will definitely order some of these again!
I have harvested my first two daughters on the 25th of August, so they are still drying, I don't have any information about the taste, or the exact quantity, so I will update it as soon as I get info(for now there is just some random stuff). This plant was really easy to grow, there were no surprises except one of my daughters didn't went as well as I expected. It is easily possible, that I've made a mistake in the beginning of her flowering period, I gave her the wrong nutes, and I didn't notice it until it was already too late. I am truly satisfied by the results, I recommend all the equipment I've been using through the cycle. UPDATE: I have harvested my last daughter at the 5th of September. She was drying incredibly slowly, I took them out from the drying box at the 18th of September, and they are still sticky as hell, I decided to remove them from the stems, and start the curing process.
