That looks like quite the grocery list of nutrients so I should explain if not just to clarify this to myself 😲 Week 1 is a bit of a throwaway. Now that I feel I somewhat know what the black jesus I'm doing, I did a small transplant as I was never very happy w/ the starter cups I had on hand and felt I could better start fresh w/ the application of improved nutes. Sprinkled a tsp. of Mykos around the hole and root ball of each transplant. Filled them in and trussed as necessary. 2 seedlings were completely uprooted (which freaked me the F out) in process. One of their taproots was U shaped. Mixed first sol. w/ Golden Tree and Superthrive along w/ slightly weaker than initial goal regular feed (approx. 800 total ppm and diluted to half for smaller plants). The goal to give them some juice to kick off while minimizing any shock. Just water and CalMag next day for a small flush before Adv.Nut. Trio. No signs of stress and all signs of strong seedlings. Lights moved down to 2ft. above plants (the 2 leafers get CFL, heat pad, and dome for now). pH a steady 5.7-6.0 and ppms just right. All temps. are very steady. No fluctuations greater than 10 degrees. Humidity could be steadier but maybe I'm being nitpicky. Gave plants a separate dose of silica from nutrient sol. Silica is only soluble at pH 7 (neutral). Nute sol. pH 5.8. Runoff 6.2pH. I'm happy w/ that. Will come back down next regular feeding. Am going to give straight water every 2 days. And holy sheep shit! What a boost from RAW Silica and Adv. Nuts. in just a day! Visibly different from just this morning. Standing straight everywhere and looking very symmetrical. No signs of burn at all. They might be a little pale, but they might not be since the green of the cucumber guinea pigs is always within eyeshot. Will keep an eye on how they thrive and consider enriching nitrogen content a bit should they not. I'm wondering now how often I should supplement w/ silica during veg? The ladies are loving the Adv. Nuts. 2ml/l of each; 1ml/l CaliMagic = pH 5.8 every time. They're really coming along quickly now. Looking forward to settling them down for a bit in 1 gal. smart pots soon. So much to learn still!

I wonder if adding top dressing of worm castings to coco coir will be beneficial or defeat the purpose of a soil-less approach? Any informed advice and suggestion is welcome.

No need to make your first grow more complicated than it needs to be. I would recommend making your grow as conventional as possible. Focus on finding the correct lighting levels, creating a full canopy before switching to flower and not killing your plants by adding too many nutrients. Generally speaking, there are enough variables balancing these components, especially in an LED/coco grow, that adding another won't benefit you much if at all. Growing is fun but most of us screw up many times before we get it right so patience and astute observation is key. Good luck.

Last question was pretty noob haha...I AM pretty noob afterall. Curious what rules others go by r.e. flushing their coco. I've heard some say, as a rule, once a week. Others only when probs. appear. Also, how often do you feed between straight watering, or do you feed ev. day? Ty

If u in coco u have to feed everywatering and keep tabs of the ppm u dont have to worry about flushing coco unless you over feed her its just like hydro your ph has to stay in a coco range your plant uptake is like hydro if u watch ppms you will not have to flush till the last 3 weeks u need a 14- 21 day flush in coco but feed her every watering exp with calmag👍👍✌️✌️🍻🍻

As solo said above, best to keep it simple: regarding the flush, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Use a flush to clear out the medium when there’s a problem, otherwise feed/water as usual. Regarding nutes and feed, a good rule of thumb is to feed with nutes every other watering until you dial in perfect amounts and Required frequency (only acquired through experience). Hope it helps and reach out any time. Cheers

First grows are exciting but scary! liked and followed! I like your little skewer grids! BTW, You should be able to continue your root stuff -- it pays off... The bloom additives you're using in veg are most likely not doing any good on the other hand. I like your enthusiasm, though! You might want to look into lucas formula -- not to switch, but just to get a good idea of what feed is actually needed. I overfed for a looong time, even if you dont burn its not just a waste of nutes youre loading your medium with salts and can inhibit growth.

Looks great! I was also thinking of buying a Reverse Osmosis unit because my tap water is about 1050ppm but I'm not sure the RO would bring it down to where I'd like it to be.

Looking good so far.. some advise: BE PACIENT!!! I see you chomping at the bit to transplant/feed more/ get to the next step... This is gonna take 3 months if it's a photoperiod 3-4 weeks In the solo cup from seed 3-4 weeks veg in 1 gal 6-10 weeks flower in 3gal pot Don't rush it... wait untill your container is FULL OF ROOTS before you transplant 👍🏻 Best of luck nothing like the first Grow

I think that the perfect ph for your ladies it’s 6.5, with this ph they can assimilate all the macro and micro elements.. also temp of water it’s important, if you drink them with a water that is 21 degree Celsius you have the best ossigenation for your plants! Second thing but it’s only my opinion, the firsts three week don’t use many nutrients, you have the risk to burn them.. No stress=more profit! Third thing: in this second cycle i’ve Used a spray solution with a little bit of nitrogen concentrated at 28%, my ladies answer very well!
