It's been quite hot this week. Seeing some really fast growth with the Red Poison, to the point where it looks almost a bit stretch marked, but also wondering the heat is causing issues(tho not apparently slowing it down otherwise). If so, at least it's not bothering the Sweet Cheeses. Since they're looking happy I decided to keep both twins, and in the same pot, to see what happens :). I've got seeds to grow the strains again, to compare later.
I'm def gonna start some LST this week, being careful cause the branch nodes are quite close together on these(last time a plant topped itself!), the cheese twins can be trained to grow away from eachother.
Looks super nice. I’m growing a red poison on my page as well right now, and I’ve noticed some of the same genetic traits you noticed on the leaves in veg. Yours looks bigger than mine tho xD.
@Muntjac, I sure hope so, everyone I’ve seen on this site who’s harvested this strain says the smell is awesome even if they don’t always get the color. Looks like you definitely popped a pretty purple pheno tho
@anonymousSoftwareProduct, Hiya! Thank you for the kind words, and for letting me know about your similar issues. I checked out your grow, and it's interesting because I also saw similar traits popping up for another grower, alongside normal non-twisty leaved red poisons. I wonder if a batch of seeds got overheated or something like that(maybe our plants are very close siblings? Kinda fun to think about it like that, at least :D). Either way, the flowers are coming along rather nicely despite the janky leaves, so I reckon you'll have a really good time with your grow regardless. You'll freaking love the smell they produce.
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 8 out of 10!! 👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!
