I was running the light at 50% at first and started to see some plants stretching. On day 4 I increased the power to 60%, or so I thought. I turned out I had set it to a bit more, and this girl and one more started to show warped leaves. So, I turned it down to 60% again and moved these girls closer to the corners where the light is less intense.
On day 4 I also installed the auto irrigation system since I had to leave the house for the weekend. I feed them every 6 hours.
The light schedule has been switched to give them night in the afternoon since we have some seriously hot weather during summer. This gives them a day temp at 30-31 degrees C, and a night temp at around 25 degrees.
This girl is the only one of all 10 plants in the tent that needs some support. She's got a wiggly stalk and my fan is making her lie down if unsupported.
She's been doing well this week and added some weight. Tomorrow training begins with a topping to get the manifold started. I've had some problems with the feeding, but it's my own fault for using nutes that aren't coco specific.
I topped her on Day 15. I'll let her grow a bit before I'll top her again. She's doing alright, but she could be better. My fault and we have some pretty warm weather at the moment.
I transplanted her into an 11 liter fabric container on day 24. The air pot has generated some great root system to start her off. I'm training her into a shape I like. She's doing very well. The previous problems are gone, but some old leaves still show her previous unhappiness...
She has now been topped for the third and final time. The manifold is created and we're now going to train the 8 shoots. She's growing well and she's very healthy.
Wow! This one grows! She is 10 cm taller than the second tallest plant in the tent, and she's forcing me to switch. First 36 hrs of darkness, then 12/12.
This baby grows like a champ. She's getting thick branches and i believe we will see some fat buds...
I had to shorten the legs of the grow table, and hopefully that will be enough height for all the girls in the tent. I've added a bit of fan action at pot level to make life a bit miserable for the fungus gnats that I have plenty of. I'm also ordering some yellow sticky traps.
This girl is the tallest of all 5 girls in the tent. She has been growing very well. I had to hang the light differently to get it higher, and now I can move it perhaps another 10 cm higher if needed.
I have been defoliating quite a bit, and today I removed all the soft ties that were holding her down.
I added some gnat traps and fans at pot level. I have plenty of gnats, but they should soon be gone...
This chica is growing very tall. I've been forced to pull the tallest branches to the side so they're not right under the light. She is very happy at the moment, and hopefully she won't get much taller.
This girl is growing really tall. I decided to backbuild her. That should give some nice fat buds while preventing further elongation. She makes my arms sticky when working with her...
This tall lady is a long bloomer compared to her tent sisters. She's developing very long colas that slowly are filling out. I expect to see some donkey dicks by the end of this grow. I pick some leaves that shade too much, otherwise she's left alone to finish flowering.
This baby loves making flowers. These colas are getting huge! She has eight 50 cm long colas that are about to grow very thick - like baseball bats! She's very sticky and builds a great layer of frost. I have been forced to tie her up a bit. She'd like to spread out more.
This amazing lady is growing some insane colas. They are getting massive! She's maturing a bit slower than the other girls in the tent but it seems like she's making up for it by giving me huge flowers.
This baby is growing so big! Her colas are packed with buds. She's got at least another week to go, and the buds should swell a little bit more. I'll stop feeding her shortly.
Miss Sweet Cherry Pie is turning into a beast! Her 8 colas are just massive! The bottle I have in one of the pics for size comparison is a 1.5 litre bottle. Those are big buds! I'll give about another week and then we'll see if she's ready to go down. SHe'll be the last one standing in the tent for sure.
It was finally time to take her down. Her colas are so big! They're over 60 cm long and very thick and full of stickiness. She'll be slow-drying for a few weeks now.
This lady was a super strong grower. See grew like a rocket, and pushed my tent to the limits. She was all the way up to the light. She loved the training and her 8 colas grew extremely long and thick. The buds were packed with trichomes. Awesome plant!
