Time to conquer this strain again This strain was part of the first mix I grew during my first grow She turned out to be my favorite taste and smoke of the bunch, So I decided to give it a proper do over and grow a better plant Well she has popped and happy under her light

Quick update, im very sick at the moment (luckily not covid) 🤢🤢🤢 She is growing nicely and seems to be established now from jiffy to soil My first full time tent plant, looking forward to it I keep a small fan on her to make sure she is still strong Trying to keep humidity at around 75% as suggested for seedlings Very low amount of nutrients just to give a small kickstart

She has grown really well this week True leaves coming out nicely and new growth in other areas also happening I must say though.. I dont know if its the strain or the different nutrients im using or even the Humic/Vulvic acid treatment I did to the soil... But the leaves are really silky, they feel quite awesome. Must ask some of my experienced growing friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 RO water Very little nutrients PH'd to 6.5ish -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Coldest cold front of the decade, at least the tent is will insulated and the light is holding heat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 A few foreign flying gnats of sorts... Added yellow sticky strip -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Nothing yet... but will do due to height restrictions with the tent

She is still growing well Bent her a little to just flatten her out a bit as this is a compact tent and don't want to let her run wild with height This fluorescent light is super cool, really enjoying it, low wattage and the plant is still growing quite well Might top her if she grows well this week -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal feeding and watering schedule Standard feeding now 1ml = 1l on all nutes and keeping PH in check -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Another cold front... getting over them now... Luckily the then is nice and warm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Had a few gnats but they are sticking to the yellow traps... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 some bending with bendies and had a tie down Put bendie at the base to keep plant down

Not toooo bad a week The Pros: 1) Topping seemed to work quite well, she bounced back very quickly with new grow shoots 2) Got rid of the few fungus gnats with some D-earth and sticky traps 3) Moved them to my bigger tent for the time being as I have more room to move around and I wont need the tent till the Mimosa grows up 4) One of my favorite nutes added this week EcoBuz RootPro The Cons: 1) I did my preventative spray this week with Biogrow - Bioneem (FUCKING MISTAKE) this happened to me last grow and I really did not think it was this Biogrow...but it seems it was I don't know if its expired somehow or if something else happened but this shit had burned rings into my leaves!! I now 100% know it is this Bioneem stuff which as you can see from the photos is now in the trash GOOD RIDDANCE. I use RO water when I mix this stuff to spray on my leaves as I dont want whatever heavy metals are in our drinking water on my foliar spray...so it def is not the water. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Standard vegging nutes for me at the moment normal schedule 1ml/1L Added some root pro this week to give the roots another treatment Happy ROOTS happy SHOOTS 😁 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Coldest front ever!! We had snow in our town for the first time in 60 odd years! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 A Few fungus gnats but they have been dealt with now -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Topped her this week, she has bounced back nicely

So happy with how well this girl bounced back after a slightly more stressful week than what I had hoped for Topped and recovered from some sort of toxicity from a pest prevention product I removed half of the leaves that were damaged the most from the spray, will remove the rest a bit later... she is making big strides at the moment and don't want to slow her down -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal suggested feeding schedule at the moment with a slight change I am switching a bit between rain tank and RO water The rain tank water for some natural goodies (hopefully)😁 no nutes added when using this water RO water and nutes on the other days -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Cold week again, but tent is sitting in some nice temps :) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 A Few fungus gnats here and there... the traps are getting them though -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Bent down the bottom branches with some bendies, it opened up the plant a bunch and allowed more light to get in Also the branches responded and did what I planned for them to do, to grow out further away from the plant faster so they get more light on them... slight success, may have to bend them more

Good times, good times Lots of new growth from nodes and development of flowering spots I have done my best to keep her flat and open with bendies and soft wire...looking good so far I think she will start kicking to flower new the end of this week as she is starting to drinks lots and grow quite rapidly I pulled off all leaves affected by strange bad Bio-Neem Will give her the last neem coating this week and then we switch over to flower friendly preventatives -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal feeding and watering schedule Not currently doing any plain water, she seems to be happy receiving nutrients with every feed Did a slight change this week, I added some V12 initiate which is a nutrient feed without nitrogen, with rain water which apparently has quite a bit of nitrogen... it worked out well I think -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Cold Warm Cold Warm Cold Warm From a weird ass winter, to a weird ass spring -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint...happiness -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Defoliated a few of the bigger leaves which were getting in the way and covering new growth, will probably remove some of the bottom stuff in a week or so Lots of bending still so as to keep her open for middle growth to shoot up and keep her flat

She has started flowering this week 😬 I have managed to keep her nice and flat with bendies and soft wire... rather happy with the way she is looking at the moment. I have defoliated her twice this week but damn she just keeps growing back. I think I will move her back to her own little tent now where she will stay till harvest. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Moved onto the flowering regime. Fish-mix dropped for the Grow and the addition of other flowering nutrients as per above. I am not doing plain water gaps at the moment, the PPM count in her feeding is low enough for me to feel comfy with no plain water feeds. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Weird winter holding onto us all the way through spring -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Fungus gnats made a comeback... but they are being dealt with -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Still holding down 4 main branches and some bendies to keep her flat Pulling off leaves every few days...she fills the gaps very quickly

Damn this girl is just a canopy of awesomeness!!! I pull leaves off, she grows them back twice as fast Her canopy is nice and flat and green and and and well just bloody brilliant I have moved her to her new permanent home (smaller tent), more ventilation and fans to make sure no mildew comes from flowering or bushiness. I had to make a light change as my Fluorescent didnt fit with my LED COB So now its 50w Custom made LED strip (White light) and 100w LED COB (Red Light) I will edit the diary accordingly -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal flowering nutes as per last week She is becoming more thirsty, so I suspect I will have to up the watering volume ) Still no days of plain water as PPM count is still considerably lower than the maximum (treating her like a kidney😁 ) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Spring weather - Hot and Rain - tent is nice and cool on the floor tiles though -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint...happiness -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Holding her down everywhere I can Will defoliate again next week

This is probably the healthiest plant I have grown thus far, and since I buggered up this strain the first time around... I pretty damn happy. She has been raising her leaves all day, think I have the light height dialed in at the moment, hopefully it lasts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal nutes as per schedule and using rain water, cant be bothered to fetch RO water all the time and plus I think the rain water is nice 😊 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Rain and rain and more rain -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Hmmm I do suspect something is having a go at my leaves will try and identify it soon Think its time to add a bioinsecticide to the mix.. hopefully it sorts it out -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Keeping her wide as I can Removed some leaves...but no more I don't want to hurt her much while she develops buds

Early entry this week, I am going away fishing for a few days This plant is just so gorgeous and so healthy! She clearly wants to be in GQ Magazine This week I needed to clean her up a bit. Just a few leaves every few days. As you can see this has opened her up more to allow bud growth, previously hidden. She is doing very well and now I kind of just need to keep watering her right and weekly anti-WPM and Insect preventatives. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Following the Biobizz schedule. The PPM is still low and she is looking happy, no need to change -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Rain is gone, heat is coming Lets see how this plays out -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint...happiness -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Just holding the branches down to keep her open

Just got back from a short trip and I was very happy to see my plants are still alive 😁 This girls flowers are a gorgeous, gorgeous white with thick very furry pistols. I can only hope thick pistols = thick buds Her leaves went a bit dark the last few days, I think my wife had a slight heavy hand with feeding, so I will be slowing down on nutrients this week a bit till the leaves are back to their lighter colour. Otherwise I am removing leaves every few days still without creating too much stress. I would say I am removing maybe 1-2% every few days. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Little bit less nuting this week due to slight darkening of the leaves Not sure if its the strain or not.... but less is more I say -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Cold front....again -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Not much right now, wires still in place but I think she is in her final form

Bit of a gap in my growdiaries, came back from a big fishing trip and got very sick for two weeks, but hopefully I can now carry on as per normal So she is looking as fine as ever Her flowers are pretty damn big and massive pistols are still there. She has been getting some nice colour on her flowers and they are getting thicker Defoliation has been a slight problem for me, I clearly didn't take enough leaves off before flower, so now I am still removing a few every day just to try have airflow and good penetration. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Normal nutes as per menetioned above but...but I am adding an extra 0.5l to every feed of plain water just to make sure she does not get any form of toxicity. I read about this strain when I was sick and it seems it can get toxicity quite easily, so..... less is more -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Getting warmer and warmer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint...happiness -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Not much really, just keeping branches down

OOHHH what a beauty she is, a sight to behold Magic strain from Dutchpassion, it really is When i look at her a song keeps playing in my head: Fatboy Slim - Praise You (yeah you know the one) She is thirsty She is Smelly Her Nugs..... a green and brown gold AND SHE IS HEALTHY Literally on auto pilot at the moment Water every second day Remove 1 - 3% leaves every few days just before watering I think I need to get some anti mildew on her as her buds are very sticky and wet -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 Upped the bloom a bit this week, some lower leaves looking a bit pale, so I think she is feeding slightly off them and not getting enough from me and the roots Still adding extra water - I think it will be a norm for me as it seems to do the plants well 1) Measure out water and nutrient amount 2) Add 500ml clean water with no nutrients 3) Adjust PH if needed 4) Healthy looking plant -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Getting warmer and warmer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Not a hint...happiness -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 nothing much, just holding branches in place and removing leaves as mentioned above

I am going to be really sad the day I have to chop this girl Her buds have gotten so sticky, I am actually struggling to wash my hands after plucking leaves 😅 I managed to remove enough leaves to give her some proper air gaps during her final few weeks of development. But so far so flippen good -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 I added an extra 1ml of bloom last feeding, just to test and see, Well her leaves darkened a little and I don't think she liked that.... so I will go back to 2ml dosage 1L water and nute preparation + 500ml of clean water aaaannnddd feed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 Cold front is upon again, temps down a bit -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Nothing to see here -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Still just keeping her open

This lovely lady looks she is going to be done soon The last pistol push she has done is starting to colour up slowly and she has bulked up nicely Last I checked her trichomes will still very much clear but I will check them again today under the microscope. No issues, No mildew, No pests... I am hardly applying any preventatives cause she is just so damn healthy Life is good and life for her is that incredible smelly smell smell I removed a few more leaves this week and damn the stickyness is something I havent quite had with my other plants.... I could almost use it as glue (worlds most expensive glue though :P) I cannot wait to smoke this strain again and especially from this plant ALSO THOSE BUDS!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💦Water and Nutes💦 She seemed to like a bit less bloom than I tried, kept it 2ml/l Still adding 500ml clean water after measuring nutes in a 1L solution, it seems to work rather well -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌞🌩️Weather🌩️🌞 all over the place -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🐛Pests🐛 Nothing to see here, literally not a single problem -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💪Training💪 Nothing but keeping the branches apart in a small space

Happy Harvest Day!

EDIT: I AM NOT SURE WHY BUT I CAN' ADJUST SATIVA/INDICA OR TASTE ON THIS HARVEST ENTRY I would say it feels 70% Indica Ahh yes the banana blaze high This high always hits me in the forehead a few seconds after taking a puff It kind of knocks me sideways at first but then it is just happy vibes all the way forward. I have had a few rips of her already since I harvested her a few days ago and the smoke is very similar to the first time I grew this plant. A strong hit and then a good ol happy time pace. I had a hit a few hours before posting this harvest entry and I'm still in a great place and able to do work and admin and so forth. No anxiety, no stress, just a stupid grin on my face as I enjoy the day. I am very happy she got so big, which means I am going to have plenty more days like this and hopefully share it with plenty of my friends. She tastes absolutely awesome, she is sweet and fruity and has quite a delicious clean smell. The 'banana' taste is there, but its a bit different this time.... not that I am complaining.... it might be the different nutrients.

EDIT: I AM NOT SURE WHY BUT I CAN' ADJUST SATIVA/INDICA OR TASTE ON THIS HARVEST ENTRY I would say it feels 70% Indica Okay so if you look back in my growing history you will see I have grown this strain before, but I really messed it up as it was my first grow... My goodness I even turned the first plant a very deep shade of purple/black. I was happy to get hold of another seed to try the strain again as I really enjoy the high. But lets talk about this plant. She grew like a gem and gave me everything I wanted and didn't want What she didn't give me - NO MILDEW - I only did two treatments of mildew control for the entire grow, didnt spray for the last 5 weeks or so even - NO PEST OUTBREAK - I say outbreak as I am sure some pests did make their way in and I did do two treatments...but never encountered anything noticeable - NO GENETIC ISSUES - no herms, no weird growths, no funny leaves What she gave me - A HEALTHY PLANT - after reading above its easy to understand why I say this.... - WATER GRACE - I went away and my wife forgot to water her for 4 days during flowering... she was strong, my other plants before this would have cried - HUGE BUDS - Look at the photos - SMELLY BUDS - Just believe me on this one - BEAUTIFUL BUDS- Again look at the photos - A BIG SMILE - What an absolute pleasure growing this girl, really it was... 100% one of my favorite strains to smoke I was promised a big plant and strong weed Dutch passion delivered a seed that I was able to grow into those promises.

@Shooey, yeah i think you are right.... my friend said the same Just thinking of ways to make sure the plant stays healthy. There is definitely a hint of banana, and when you smoke this strain you can taste it. Myself and three friends bought the same seeds and they started before me... I have smoked some of theirs and the banana taste is there. It really does taste great

What a beauty mate. Hope you got a few fish on your trip. I love fishing. Here in my area I catch red snapper, tuna, mackerel, kingfish etc. what are you catching mate?? 🎣
Riveting

@Shooey, 100% Waders and streams - taking it back old school I am so freaken jealous of Australia's saltwater fishing, I watch loads of youtube videos about it.... Heart rate increasing
Shooey
Shooeycommented3 years ago
@Riveting, Oh brilliant mate!! We have a native freshwater “Australian Bass” here. They can grow up to 55 - 60cm. I used to love catching these on poppers. They are found in stocked dams and impoundments but we used to like suiting up in waders and fishing creeks and streams around here. There is just something special about being in a nice serene area and seeing your surface lure get creamed by a big bass 🎣🔥

@Shooey, Awesome!! Yeah man fishing is half of my life I fished for my state against other states and I run a fishing league. We fish for bass in freshwater. But I do enjoy saltwater fishing, especially big poppers and jigging, but I don't get to do it often as I am always practicing in fresh water. You are in Australia right?

A brilliant grow burrito, you are taking it to the next level mate. What a great review, really looks like a plant I would love to try. That Dutch passion consistently produces the goods. Great work my bro

@Shooey, Thank you so much Shooey Trial and error is a great teacher and many many hours reading theory and following other diaries, such as yours and epikwon etc I would definitely suggest you try this strain out Two of my friends have also grown this strain and all their plants are looking good
