Had no issues with this product line, followed the feeding schedule provided and then with the auto plants I just adjusted between 1/4-1/2 nutrient feeds. The plants loved this, am thinking about using fish mix instead of grow during next rotation especially during veg.
Basically used the V600 as I was a beginner and thought this was enough for me as my setup was totally different at the beginning and during veg, I actually liked this light during the veg period so I can’t fault this light on this grow for that period!
The XS1500 really improved my grow when added a week or so into flower, and man did I start to notice the difference between the flowers on this grow and another grow I had running at the same time, I have a small setup going forward and this will be my light from this point on, I absolutely love this light, for the same price as the V600 it has double the par value, the most recent Samsung diode led lights, dimmer knob, doesn’t make a noise and doesn’t put out as much heat either, and it isn't blurple….which I’m not taking anything thing away from it, just after having the 2 grows on the go, I prefer the the light aspect of the XS1500
So this was added 2 weeks into flower, perfect grow tent for my needs going forward, the only disappointment in this product…there is no window, and considering this company sells an intelligent fan of which I’m a proud owner of its just a inconvenience that I’m prepared to live with as this is such a good product.
I am an absolute beginner at growing, I did nothing but read and read before I set off on this journey, I wanted to grow my favourite strain, I knew it was going to be risky, there was a probability of fuck ups, everything was brand new to me, but at the end of the day this was my experience and regardless of how things turned out I would of been happy with any successful harvest so my goal was to 1) take any learning experiences away from this no matter how little and if they work then apply next time 2) try to make 1 ounce per plant of smokeable cannabis 3) learn from my mistakes with hindsight because I can look back and see what I could of done differently (with hindsight) but not at the time as I may think I could be doing things right. I took a chance on planting both these seeds but you only live once.
Germination went in damp paper towel in my closet for 3half days I think…got lightly sprayed every 12 hours
Veg
Tent 3x3
Light ViparSpectra V600
Plant 1 veg 5 weeks I believe and 6 weeks on plant 2, both had LST on week 3 (mistake made here) I pulled both these girls too far down, looking back I also made rookie mistakes on over defoliation during this period. My feeding schedule was absolutely bang on, not once did I experience nutrient burn during this period.
Flower
Tent Spider-Farmer 2x2x5
Light ViparSpectra XS1500
So when I moved these girls into this setup they really came into their own and took on their own personalities, I stopped defoliating so much and was only taking off lower leaves and unwanted flowering sites, in hindsight maybe this was a mistake also but seeing as my next rotation will not be until the new year and I’ll have more time to reflect and see how other people grow, now that I have this site as a great source of knowledge. Flowering went well I stuck to the feeding schedule I pre made, I did start to notice some nutrient burn on the fan leaf tips around week 10 but I wasn’t too worried at that stage. So I noticed quite early on in flower that both these plants were going to be different I think looking back I may have stressed out plant 2 a little too much and this showed as she started to throw out clustered looking flower sites that weren’t opening right compared to plant 1 which you can see around weeks 4-8, but when they did go into full flower mode, fuck did they go like the wind and the last few weeks went like a breeze.
Plant 1 stayed of a short medium height, fat and green all the way through with a 10 day flush, her flowers are really long, dense and leafy, the raw smell she was putting out was kinda floral/citrus.
Plant 2 stayed short to medium height, she went autumnal and put out some real nice colours on her flowers, she had a 10 day flush, her flowers are dense and compact, she put out the same floral/citrus smell.
I’ve been off work for quite a while due to health issues and have recently gone back, having the Spider-Farmer intelligent fan really helped keep everything in spec when I haven’t been able to…so that’s quite a tidy bit of kit, I’m super impressed with this and so glad I have this going forward. 2 Amnesia Haze plants that look totally different and smell lovely just the same. What I did do different on this harvest to my other was I did put these in the dark for 48hrs before harvest as I read this was good for them 🤷♂️

These LED lights come with veg and bloom switches, obviously I’ll be using veg for veg stage, but is it worth using bloom only during flower or using full spectrum with both switches on?
Defo from uk with the haze and the dog on the go haha try the photo over the auto next time bro well better in size. Can pull 6plus oz off a plant with the photos. Autos are more like 2oz a plant. Yooo good luck tho bro I hope u kill it and get as much as u can off them

@BioBuds, she’s a gem brother, loves the fan leaves too, she’s always snooping when it’s plant time 😂. Thanks for the comment man, really impressed so far with this one, they’ll be trimmed and put away tomorrow so hopefully another successful harvest 🤞🌱🤘😊🏴
