Yesterday (7/20/21) I placed 4 seeds in water (in the dark) to germinate. The plan is to try two of these indoor in my tent and two outdoor. These were then placed in a cupboard. The water was prepared a day earlier using tap water with pH reduced to 6.3. I also finished out assembling my tent, and ran the ductwork out of my workshop roof to exhaust through the soffit vents. I tested the lights, the fans, the exhaust venting, and took notes on the temps and humidity with different things running. This diary will be for the indoor plants primarily.
7/21/21 - Today I noticed the seeds were still floating so I gave them a little poke to have them sink to the bottom and be completely covered. I prepared the soil today as described above and added a little Mykos to the mix. The indoor plants will be in 3 gallon bags, with the outdoor in 5 gallon bags. I’m adding sticky paper fly traps into the soil and placing in the tent. This will let me see if there are any bugs in the tent or soil before I transplant my seeds. I’m patiently awaiting tails on the seeds, until tomorrow.......
7/22/21 - So I came out this morning and all 4 seeds had tails. I carefully moved them into the tent, planted directly into the FFOF. I made sure the soil was moist before planting, put the seeds about 1/4” and just brushed the soil back over the top of them. I sprayed again and sealed up the tent. Lights are on 24/7 right now, waiting for them to pop dirt. Some particulars below:
Lights - roughly 26” off the soil at 50% intensity
Temp - at time of planting 77.6 degrees
Humidiy - 75%
Small fans - set on low on opposite corners
Exhaust fan - set to exhaust at 78 degrees
Watering schedule - plan to spray the soil with 6.3 pH water 3 times a day to keep the soil moist
7/23 - Well we’ve passed one day in dirt. I’ve got lights on 24 hours a day, but only at 50%. It’s hot outside this week though with highs in the low 90s and next week high 90s. The A/C unit in my little room is set a little cooler than usual to provide the needed humidity. It varies right now from the upper 50s to the low 80s before the exhaust fan kicks on and starts the cycle all over again.
I found I can’t set my exhaust fan higher than medium because it sucks the tent in too much and my clip fans are forced off the poles. I may try to do something about this but it’s fine for now.
Good choice with the WW auto from ILGM.. Nice gassy terps and a very resilient plant.. Very fun to grow.. I've got a couple WW auto from ILGM diaires on here if you wanna check them out.. Lookin good too. Keep up the good work growmie!
Very nice widow! My compliments! Enjoy! I’m currently grow’ng 4 strains inc GOD’S GIFT original 2005 strain
Check me out & tell me what you think! Many thanks!
@@Waylate, thank you. I've only got one plant that they're just starting to favor but I'm going to try some Neem oil. Now if it will just stop raining here and I can apply it we'll see what happens. My indoor plants are my primary focus. Anything I get from the outdoor plants is a bonus.
Looking good. Were growing same strain and similar set ups, and training technique. Mine are about a week older. Think you got the lst part a little better then I did. Good luck!
@rvarsk, Thank you! Yes I have been looking at yours to get an idea of where they'll go in the next week. They grow so fast. The LST can constantly be done if careful. They're very pliable. Good luck with your grow as well.
