No good pics yet... Spent 2 weeks outside toughening up in the sun. Just spritzed the soil a little in the morning and allowing the plant to soak up water from the bottom in the evening while it was outside. After 2 weeks, moved indoors. Not stretching too much. Cut recommended nutes by half. Once it was under the light.
Big come up this week. Trimmed some fan leaves to let the light through to some of the undergrowth. LST going well. Following the recommended nutes schedule but half dosing. Watering 2x week, one with nutes, one without.
Changed lighting cycle and started bloom nutrients. Growing quickly and the smell is getting a little stronger. Trimmed a few more fan leaves to allow better light penetration.
Another solid week... Starting to really open up and stretch. Just basic Fox Farm week 3 bloom feeding schedule. She's healthy and happy. Let her dry out a little this week to slow down some gnats that were stating to show up but it looks cleared up now. A little more defoliation. Added blackstrap molasses and started Terpinator.
No nutes this week short of a shot of CalMag and some more Terpinator. She was yellowing a bit after the last nutes so I cut it off. Pure water as well... Down side I had to leave town for 5 days and this is her when I got home. She perked up a little after watering and should bounce back. Tough weed for sure. This strain has been pretty awesome to grow and extremely forgiving. Seeds came from 5150 Genetics in Oregon. Smell is getting more gassy. Any ideas on how much longer before harvest?
Another good week and she's really finishing strong. Lucky to have such a solid bounce back after having been out of town. Back on nute cycle and watering regimen. Quite a frosty little girl as well... I put the over/under at 2 weeks until harvest. Let me know what you guys think.
Another strong week... Trichomes have started to turn amber. Seems like she's found a second wind and started growing more pistils. The Fox Farm kit with adding CalMag and Terpinator have done this grow well. She's not putting off a super strong smell, but the undertones are gassy and earthy... I'd recommend this strain to anyone with or without experience... Won't be a huge yield in my set up, but that has never been the goal... On to another week of pumping up these trichs!!
Continuing to wind down. Trichomes are almost completely milky, just waiting on the amber now. Still following the Fox Farm feeding schedule but watering with purified water daily as she's been thirsty. She's fading beautifully and her buds are truly swelling as she throws the final pistils hoping to catch some pollen(too bad). The smell is a skunky, earthy aroma that's getting stronger as she finishes. Anticipation is killing me!
This is the last week... Harvesting on Monday... Trichs are more Amber and she's been flushed. No more anything from this point forward... Let the buds start drying on the vine so to speak. Pungent earthy smell on her... Been a good run for sure.
As this was my first grow, I started off being too hands on and really doing too much. I started the plant outdoors to harden her up, then to 24hr light for 3 weeks, finally into her own tent to flower on a 12/12 light cycle. The LST kept the height down so there wasn't any height issues in the short tent. Trichomes we're about 35% Amber on harvest day and I didn't water for the final 4 days after providing only water for a week to allow the plant to flush. The chop was easy and there was little to trim. She smells a little floral with a skunky smell behind it. Not extremely overpowering but very exotic. On to the dry and cure hoping to not screw it up and see how sweet this lady tasted. Updates forthcoming as the process goes on.
