what is your topdressing? sand?, then you have to water from bottom. if you leave it like this, I fear it takes abad end the wet sand is like concrete, nothing is breathing here

@GreenBuzzNutrients, i do it as a precaution, i often had thrips, and with the current one the leaves are a bit scarce, under the leaves there are black dots and the holes have become bigger .. yesterday I also sprayed something against thrips, mites, and pests .. none problem i am grateful for every opinion and ask .. everything is wonderful am relatively inexperienced l

Does this sand technique work? Just curious. I accidentally contaminated my tent with 2 clones that had fungus gnats. Made quick work of the gnats but want to start running something like that sand on top for prevention. Good luck on your grow!

@Joshimilla, yes it works, and i have spray for this from hardware store but it helps good for thrips
