Pineapple Express & Lemon Auto

Has been a week since I put all the original seeds in for a 24 hour soak then into root riots. Unfortunately only one has started its journey so far but I am hopeful the other 4 will show up soon as their taproots were out so they can't be completely dead 🤔 I've added 3 seeds of seedsman auto lemon I got free with the original 5 pineapple seeds so hopefully they'll pop if the originals fail me. Update 1. Couldn't sleep last night those taproots were keeping me up, so I done some seed surgery and pulled out the only 3 that had progressed and help them get rid of their shells as they seemed lost.. Got 2 above ground now of the lemon, and 1 more pineapple that looks a bit dodgy but 3 will do if it comes to it :)

I'm pretty happy with my babies progress, was a bit of a rocky start to their lives but they have recovered from me overwatering them now! I give them 500ml of 5.8 dechlorinated tap water every other day at the moment but will probably move on the a litre every 2 days once they're a bit bigger 😊 As this is my second grow I decided I'd like to try a bit of LST as you can see on my biggest plant, no idea what I'm doing other than piecing together information from forums and diaries it just feel like I'm being heavy handed and it's just gonna snap. If anyone could give me any pointers on whether I'm doing this too early or if there's anything different I should be doing it would be much appreciated to help me on the beginning of my journey into horticultural activities 😊 Update 1. Gonna try again at LST as I wanted really sure what I was doing, I am instead gonna just tie down the top to the side of the pot and see what she looks like tomorrow 🙄

Pretty happy with the results so far of my try at LST, not that I've done much, just secured the base and tied the top down.. I like how it's looking anyway 😊 One of my lemon babies is a bit stunted in growth but I think that's my fault because of temperature fluctuations when they had popped, that and I couldn't leave the poor seeds alone 😂 Have started feeding them a little bit, nothing hot as the all mix is hot enough, just heaven, algae, seaweed and calmag, should probably drop the calmag just overly protective 🙄 also giving them a foliar mist daily when it's lights on, only algae and activera in that at a 5.8 pH 😊 That's all for now ✌️ Found my fish mix, the lid wasn't done up and I knocked it over.. Luckily there was a nice thick layer of stank that held everything in 🙏🏻 gonna start adding this to my feed and foliar if I can stomach it 😊

It's been a hot week, temperatures up to 31 in my little grow room but everyone seems to have made it through to autumn if it is autumn 🤔 Have seen a nice bit of development in my 2 late blooming lemons, one of them is nearly ready to begin their lst journey 😊 My main pineapple had undergone some treatment and had ties going all over the place to try and make an even canopy, can't really tell if it's going well as it doesn't look like any other diaries I've read but I'll take it as experience and hope to do better next time 🙃 Have been getting a nice waft of fresh herb upstairs it's nice to know they're on the way to providing a more cost efficient smoke 😊 Well that's about it, just another week of watching and waiting, hope everyone is happy and enjoying their hobby, take care and get blazed ✌️ Update 1. I've started given them all 1 litre every other day as 500ml wasn't giving any run off, the substrate was dry and my pineapple looked a bit droopy close to watering.. I've also started giving my pineapple a few extra nutrients, grow, topmax and bloom as the schedule I have from biobizz when using all mix is asking for it 🤔 Finally, I've tied down the tops of my 2 lemons to start their LST, I was considering topping one of them to see what happens but they've been through enough already.. My next grow I'm gonna get a tent and another led then hopefully do at least 10 so that'll be the time to experiment 😊

My Pineapple Express is Flowering now 😊 not sure how far behind my 2 lemons are but hopefully just a week or 2 before they start Flowering as well 🤞 No problems to report with anything I've seen this week, only that lemon #2 snapped so I decided to top her and hope for the best.. It was a slow grower anyway and I wanted to see what happened when you top a plant 🤔 That's all anyway, take care everyone and hope your grows are going well ✌️

Another normal week of watching and waiting 😊 my pineapple is fully Flowering now and my main lemon is close as well, my second lemon is a bit small but I'm hoping once the 2 mains are out it can have all the space it needs to finish up nicely.. No issues or deficiencies to report, I am running low on nutrients but I want to try a set from advanced nutrients next 🤔 Hope everyone is doing well ✌️

A good week for my plants, had alot of growth from my lemons as well as one of them starting to flower 😊 my pineapple is starting to get frosty leaves and the buds are getting bigger by the day 😁 have chopped off about 6 lower bud sites that had no chance of making it to the top in time, hoping this will make for some beasty King colas on top 🤞 Have put the tube heater back in there to run full time til they finish as the days are back to being colder and I saw the temperature in there was a bit low.. I've raised the fan up higher so its rustling the branches of all 3 plants, gonna grab some square blocks of wood from work so I can raise it up without losing the use of my big jug that's holding it up currently.. Has been a bit of a slow week for growth as I ran out of my biobloom for the last few grows 🙄🙄 have ordered another lot of bloom and top max should be here for Friday 🤞 My main pineapple is looking really nice to be fair, I gave one of the buds a pinch and it smells very tropical 😋 Lemon #1 is filling in nicely, no scragly offshoots just a handful of mains 😊 lemon #2 looks a bit stretched and had alot of long side shoots all over the place which just looked like a load of wasted energy so I've pretty much just lollipopped it to see what happens, not expected big results from this one 😔 That's all for this week, happy growing ✌️

Has been a good week, back to full nutrients after running out of bloom and top max so should hopefully see alot of growth this week from my lemons and some bud fattening on my pineapple 😁 I think the pineapple has a couple weeks left til I do a flush but gonna try to resist chopping her down too early wanna get this one right 🤞 Hope everyone's having a good week ✌️

Think this is my pineapples last week before switching to plain PHd water, I hope so anyway as I'd like to get this dried and cured to try for my birthday at the start of December 😋 Got a strong pineapple scent going through the house now, should probably get a new carbon filter 🤔 the lemons are starting to pick up with their budding, I'm hoping once the pineapple is out the way they can go wild 😊 That's all for now, just watching and waiting, happy growing to you all ✌️✌️

Has been a long week of watching and waiting, my lemons have near enough caught up to my pineapple now so hopefully they'll be done at the same time. Just 2 more weeks again I guess... I just pray they taste amazing once dried and cured that's all I ask 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Have ran out of bioheaven and calmag, really need to get some more as the rusty spot attack has begun! 😪 We are the watchers by the door 👀

Nutrients are low and time is running out 😔 this'll be the pineapples 8th week of Flowering so hopefully this is the final stretch 🤞 just need to get these babies trimmed, dried and jarred before the holidays. There has been some noticeable changes in the structure of the pineapple with a lot of foxtails 🤔 the lemons have rock hard nugs that don't seem to be changing much.. Have only just found out the best pictures are taken in the dark with the highest resolution available and the flash on so gonna try to finish work on time to get some shots before lights on 😊 That's all for now, 1 more week down.. Week 9 of Flowering for these babies, considering switching to water on this feed but not sure they're ready yet 🤔 think I'll have 1 last week of nutrients to bring them up to week 10 of flower then harvest them on week 11 as I'm aiming for a nice mix of Amber and cloudy trichomes 🧐 Not much growth anymore just more pistils turning golden brown each day and the pineapple seems to be densing up a bit more 🍍 Happy growing all ✌️ Update: Have decided to start flushing for a week or 2 as of today, my trichomes are nearly there and if I wait any longer to flush I think I'll overshoot my harvest 🧐 also I've pretty much ran out of my bloom and top max so would've only got 1 more full feed anyway, at least this way I can harvest either next weekend or the weekend after 😊

We're finally on the home stretch! Have been flushing with pH adjusted water for the past 3 feeds and gave them their final feed tonight, 3 litres each and emptied the run off. I did read that you don't have to flush as much when using organic however biobizz recommended it on their site so 🤷‍♂️ Probably gonna leave them on the current light cycle til Saturdays off time at 12pm or Sunday if the soil is still holding alot of water, then 48 hours ish of darkness before harvest Monday or Tuesday night 😊😊 Have learnt a few more things this grow and I'm pretty happy with the results so far, they all look like they're ready, leaves yellowing, pistils 95% orange, trichomes 90% cloudy 10% Amber and all nice and dense. The lemons though rock solid and both have a lovely smell coming off them 😁 That's all for now, will be posting my harvest at the start of the week 👍 happy growing everybody ✌️✌️

Overall the pineapple Express was a good strain to grow. Didn't have too many problems while growing and came out looking lovely. The nugs aren't as dense as I'd hoped but I've learnt a lot from the experience 😊

I didn't expect much from these 2 free lemon seeds but after only 1 of my pineapples germinated it was my only option. I am really glad they were in the mix however as the end result has been amazing, beautiful dusty dry dense nuggets of weed that get me high, that's all anyone can ask 😁
