Overall a successful week!
Following on from the initial trend the Stawrdawg in the 12l pot is still about half the size and behind in the number of new leaves growing.
The OG Kush's are both doing really well, standing 4cm tall and growing really quickly.
Considering the Stardawg is a different strain I'm not too worried about it being a runt so far.
I guess time will tell how big it wants to grow, if anyone has experience with this strain hit me up!
I watered 3 times over the week ~150ml for the plants in the 12l pots and ~ 300ml for the OG Kush in the 28l pot.
Water was pH'd to 6.3-6.7 and I limited it to the area immediately around the stem.
I've been struggling to maintain humidity levels over 55% and didn't want to fork out for a humidifier as I've already invested a fair amount already (next grow!).
If anyone knows some easy ways to increase humidity I'm all ears.
I also turned both my fans on to their lowest setting yesterday to circulate the air a bit better and start to get the stems moving a little bit.
Root Roids and Fruit Roids from Dr Greenthumb should arrive on my doorstep early next week. These are a combination of mycorrhizae & nutrient solubilizing bacteria and should help with the microbiome of the living soil.
I've chosen to not use soil amendments this grow as it is my first and I would like to see the difference in yield with the next grow.
During the week I lowered the Viparspectra light to 64cm from the plants and incrementally increased the veg setting to 100% and the bloom to 60%.
Side note: I'm locked out of my email and can't verify it which means I can't reply to comments. If anyone knows if I can change the email for my grow diary account let me know.
That's about it for this week, happy growing!
Good luck with your first grow buddy. My advice for first grow is don’t over water 💦 feel the pot when it’s dry to gauge when you need to water. 2nd tip is be very careful with nutes , only go half max what the bottle recommends and see how you get on.
