👉🏽Day 2 (8/27): Seedling emerged afternoon of 8/26. Light height at 1 m with intensity set at 50%. Will be trying TaNg's easy auto feeding schedule, adding, Voodoo Juice/Mammoth P, Great White mycorrhizae (top-dressed bi-weekly), and Cal-Mag (when needed.) Total time to break soil surface: 48 hours. 👉🏽Day 4 (8/29): First watering B-52, Voodoo Juice, and a top-dressing of Great White. Raised light intensity to one notch above 50%, and all's well. Next watering: Water, Voodoo Juice, and Great White, depending on pot weight. Next application of Great White: around 9/12 (bi-weekly).

👉🏽 Day 7 (9/1): Watered to 10% runoff. She's pretty hardy and tied for 2nd place in the tent.Will begin watering with light nutrients after Day 10 (9/4). 👉🏽 Day 9 (9/3): All's good. Vigorous and solid overall. 👉🏽 Day 13 (9/7): Watered with nutrients for the first time (1.5 liters). Drooping a bit (about 15% runoff), so I'll just water with 1 liter next time. 👉🏽 Day 15 (9/9): Doing well. Recovered quickly from watering stress. Will stop watering to runoff during veg cycle. 👉🏽 Day 17 (9/11): Shot up 2" in 2 days. Watered with first dose of Mammoth P. Held off on CalMag. Recovering well and will monitor to see if Sensi Bloom A&B can be stepped up to .75 ml/l. 👉🏽 Day 20 (9/14): Watered with higher level of Sensi Bloom A&B (.75 ml/l), first dose of CalMag, and second dose of Mammoth P for the week. 👉🏽 Day 22 (9/16): Will water on Day 23 with higher level of Sensi Bloom A&B (.75 ml/l) and second dose of CalMag, holding off on next dose of Mammoth P until the watering to follow. Steady .5" growth/day. 👉🏽 Day 23 (9/17): Watered and did some minor defoliation of 50/50 leaves and cotyledons. The pot was bone dry, so I'm hoping for a quick recovery. 👉🏽 Day 24 (9/18): Switching lights to 20/4. 👉🏽 Day 26 (9/20): Normal watering with Mammoth P. The stretch is on, but she can be moody when watered (1L when pot is light.) 👉🏽 Day 28 (9/22): Normal watering and minor defoliation of 50/50 leaves. Switching to the 20/4 light cycle has lessened the stress, and it looks like she'd actually be happy with much less light! 👉🏽 Day 29 (9/23): Has adjusted well to increased light intensity, though I may pull it back to 18/6 since only one other plant in the tent enjoys that much light. 👉🏽 Day 30 (9/24): Watered, adding Mammoth P and first dose of Big Bud (.25 ml/l to increase to .5 ml/l if there's a good reaction). Just had one night of 19/5, and will bring the lights down to 18/6 starting tonight. (Added a pic of all four plants taken earlier in the day. I'm still getting used to the more powerful SP3000 and figuring out what the plants will take!) 👉🏽 Day 32 (9/26): Watered, defoliated lower leaves, and removed lower bud sites not getting light. 18/6 working well so far. 👉🏽 Day 34 (9/28): Watered with Mammoth P. 👉🏽 Day 36 (9/30): Watered, with some minor defoliation and pinching off of small lower bud sites. Grew 2" over three days, and I'm expecting her to be on the same schedule as the Galaxy Brain (Night Owl) growing in the same tent. 👉🏽 Day 38 (10/2): Regular watering with Mammoth P, and removed about 5 lower bud sites. Grew 1" in about 24 hours; she's one of the lankiest plants I've ever seen, even though she was a slow starter! 👉🏽 Day 39 (10/4): Watered, with some minor defoliation. Down to 1/2" growth over 24 hours, and I'm hoping she settles down soon. (She a supercropping or OG Spring candidate in the future.) 👉🏽 Day 43 (10/7): Starting to become more hardy with shorter periods of light exhaustion. Either the stigmas are getting thicker or more numerous, and the stretch may be over. 👉🏽 Day 44 (10/8): Watered with first dose of Overdrive. Responding well to it, as well as to lights being raised to about 63%. 👉🏽 Day 46 (10/10): Watered and performed a good amount of defoliation (50/50 leaves or those in lower canopy without access to light). 👉🏽 Day 48 (10/12): Watered. She's starting the process of bulking up now and will probably take the longest to mature. Stepped back Sensi Bloom A&B dosage to .5 ml/l due to nutrient burn on new growth. Also used a cheap back-up pH pen while waiting for a new Apera pen. Not sure if the nutrient burn is actually a pH issue, and will be glad to have a more accurate pH meter! 👉🏽 Day 50 (10/14): Fed for the first time with properly pH'd (!) solution. Responding well, and the clawing from yesterday has subsided. 👉🏽 Day 52 (10/16): Fed with Mammoth P, removing some 50/50 leaves. She loves the 18/6 schedule and is healthy and lanky. 👉🏽 Day 54 (10/18): Fed and removed damaged leaves. She's started to fill out, and I'm hoping her new leaf growth will help getting over the pH-issue hump. 👉🏽 Day 56 (10/20): Pretty consistent story: fed and removed damaged leaves. Also removed a small lower secondary branch with a couple of small buds, which is drying now. (This tester probably won't do much, but it's always nice to sneak something early!) 👉🏽 Day 57 (10/21): Like the other sativa in the tent, she does not like the UVB light. Since I only do two UVB sessions a day (15 minutes each), I'll pull these plants from the tent at those times. 👉🏽 Day 58 (10/22): Fed and defoliated necrotic leaves. She'll probably take a white to mature, so I'm hoping her leaves will last her! 👉🏽 Day 60 (10/24): Fed and still pulling a few borderline leaves. The new leaf growth close to the bud is healthy, which is a relief. Only about 10% cloudy at this point, so there's a few weeks left at least. 👉🏽 Day 62 (10/26): Fed and did nothing else except rotate the pot. Buds slowly developing. 👉🏽 Day 62 (10/26): Fed and did nothing else except rotate the pot. Buds slowly developing. 👉🏽 Day 64 (10/28): Fed with addition of Mammoth P. Like the other sativa in the tent, the buds are steadily growing. Initial smell is acrid and particularly offensive; after a few seconds, faint traces of Bubble Yum gum. 👉🏽 Day 66 (10/30): Fed, rotated, and removed about five 50/50 leaves--nothing too major! 👉🏽 Day 68 (11/1): Fed, rotated, and nothing else! Leaf loss has slowed, which is great since she's got a bit of bulking to do. 👉🏽 Day 70 (11/3): Nothing exciting! Fed and rotated. Recovering and throwing out more stigma. 👉🏽 Day 72 (11/5): Skipped today's watering since I was out of town, but not stressed in the least. (At least I can get all plants back on the same watering day!) 👉🏽 Day 73 (11/6): Fed and rotated. Decided to skip Great White since it's deep into flower. Trichomes look to be about 40-50% cloudy. 👉🏽 Day 75 (11/8): Fed and rotated. Lowered the dose of Sensi Bloom A&B to .25 ml/l and raised the Overdrive to .5 ml/l. She's getting close. Next watering with CalMag, Sensi Bloom A&B, Overdrive, Mammoth P, and Carboload. 👉🏽 Day 78 (11/11): Fed and rotated. Decided that will be the last watering. I'll be harvesting and wet trimming all four plants in the tent on day 80 before placing them in the HerbsNow. Tried some sample buds, which were more racy than I anticipated--but actually perfect. 👉🏽 Day 80 (11/13): Harvest day for this 2-gallon experiment! Removed fan leaves before taking the photos included above. I'm sure the smaller leaves are a result of the pH issues earlier in the grow, and they sure are a pain to trim. Almost everything is a little nugget, and using the OG Spring or supercropping is probable the best bet with this strain in the future. Wet weight: 139g. Hoping to get at least an oz. dried. This HBH was sensitive to almost everything: light, humidity, UVB, and pH; but it was hardy and recovered as best it could at every (mis)step. I was surprised that this 2-gallon grow produced 1 oz. of dried bud, while my previous 3-gallon grows produced 2-2.5 oz. yields. The buds are pretty compact and dense--maybe 8/10 on that scale. This plant would be perfect for a 3-gallon grow.
