Double Grape Micro Grow in a Pringles Can.
Soaked seed for 24h in distilled water and then planted directly in soil.
Seed sprouted just before the 3-day mark!
08/20 - The Double Grape sprouted with a helmet, indicating it was planted too shallow. After a day with the helmet, I lightly spritzed it with water and removed it. Seems to be fine after! Spritzed the top with water.
08/21 - She's doing great after removing the helmet
08/22 - Still doing well. Higher humidity retains soil in the water for longer, so waiting until it dries up before watering again.
08/24 - She's thriving. Lightly watered.
08/28 - She's thriving. Snapped a few pics. She's sitting at just under 3".
08/29 - Adjusted light level to remain approximately 20" above canopy. Increased light intensity to 75%. Watered Lightly.
08/30 - She has adjusted well to the increased light intensity. Looking happy & healthy!
09/01 - She's growing fast -- new pics added!
09/02 - Watered lightly
09/04 - Starting off week 3 strong 💪. She's happy and healthy! The growth on this one is explosive, nearly 2 inches in height gained in a week 😍!
09/05 - Watered her this afternoon. She was thirsty, even after a recent watering!
09/08 - Still going strong. I noticed the tips of the new growth were showing signs of heat/light stress, so I raised the light to be 18" above her canopy. Watered her and checked the ppm. She's hungry and really absorbing the soil nutrients -- will probably have to provide her some nutrients next watering.
09/10 - Watered her and gave her a first dosage of nutrients at 1/4 strength. We'll see how she responds and start upping the ppm accordingly! Looking fantastic.
09/11 - Kicking-off week 3. She's in pre-flower right now. She's grown quite a bit from last week and is eating and drinking quite a bit!
09/13 (Day 24) - Fed her this evening. She's going strong. Performed some minor LST and leaf tucking to expose flower sites to more light.
09/15 (Day 26) - Fed her this evening. Still growing strong 💪
09/17 (Day 28) - Fed here again - she's hungry and growing strong.
09/18 (Day 29) - She's grown quite a bit since last week, especially considering the container size. Her flowers are maturing and I've changed the nutrient solution to be heavier towards the bloom phase.
09/20 (Day 31) - Did some minor defoliation on a couple of the dying leaves at the bottom of the plant. She already has a wonderful smell!
09/24 (Day 35) - Filling-out and growing strong! Performed some minor leaf tucking to expose the flowers to more light.
09/25 (Day 36) - Going strong. Trichomes starting to show on new leaf growth -- getting early showings of that delicious frosting 😂
09/27 (Day 38) - Fed & Watered her today. She's filling-out and looking nice!
10/01 (Day 42) - She's made a turn for the worse! Leaves are looking unhealthy. I suspect it may be root bound in the tiny container, as the ppm / EC and pH are all at expected levels.
10/02 (Day 43): Hobbling into Week 7. She's been showing deficiency issues, but it may be because she's root bound. Ppm, EC and pH are all in expected ranges. She's super frosty!
10/03 (Day 44): Fed an watered her today.
10/06 (Day 47): Fed and watered her today. Problems seem to be tapering off, so hopefully she stays healthy through harvest. The frost is spreading and looking lovely!
10/09 (Day 50): Springing into Week 8! She's frosty and despite some setbacks, is still pushing forward.
10/10 (Day 51): Watered her today. Her ppms were high enough last measurement that she didn't need more.
10/16 (Day 57): Checked trichomes. Some cloudy, but zero amber, will check again in another week. She's pushing through!
10/20 (Day 61): Fed and watered and performed some light defoliation of dead fan leaves.
