Lol oh man I completely forgot to put togther the diary for this plant. I was originally going to grow it in the room I built but because I had a plant not make it and I wasn't running 9 in the room. So let's see how well I can make it grow in a small ass tent lol. I think the hardest part of this grow well be the height issue. 4ft is not tall at all and with this philzon led light and how it hangs (ill add a pic of it next week) my space is very limited. Luckily from what ive read this plant doesn't grow tall at all so that might be the saving grace lol.
Well happy growing everyone!!!
So she had a lot of work done to her this last week. First she got repotted twice. First into a 2 gal plastic on Aug.28 and then today into, Sept.4 into a 3 gal fabric pot. Then on Aug.29 she got Fimed and then some LST work. Then today after setting it up into the 3 gal pot I gave her a quick leaf strip.
Temp and humidity have been at great levels all week. Lows of 22c lights on and highs of 26c with humidity between 55% and 60%. When it comes to feeding I gave them 300 to 500ml when they were in the 2 gal hard plastic pot and now between 500 and 750ml now.
I plan on setting up a net this next week and trying to do the same set up as I have in my 3x3 but clearly in a much smaller scale. Want to try to keep the veg time short again because of size.
Well that's all for this last week. Happy growing everyone.
Well I'm thinking a few more days and it'll be flower time. I don't want it to grow to much more before I flip it. Also noticed the 6" netting is a lot closer to 9" netting. So doing a scrog on this tent with that netting might be a bit hard. Had to add a mini dehumidifier to the tent to help fight the humidity. Got extremely high a few times when the light was off. Feeding her more frequently and she appeared to be responding nicely to it so far. Did a small leaf strip today so I could get a good look at the branches and were there all at. FIMed the tops a bit to help increase lower growth so see how that goes. We'll thats all growmies
Happy growing!!!
Well one week down, roughly 7 to 8 more to go. So far the hardest part has been keeping the humidity down. It keeps jumping up high when the lights (up to 67%) and worse when it's lights off (up to 75% that I've seen). Think for a tent this size a 2gal pot would help cut back on the humidity. Added a small dehumidifier and it's helping a bit but not much.
Did a small leaf strip to see where all the branches were and start moving them around. I know it won't fill out this tent like my OMG plant did in my 3x3, but I expect it to still do ok. So far it looks like its got about 10 good branches and about 12 that might not be big enough before I do a lolpop and clean up on it at the end of week 2.
So far I have about 5 pages of information to hand off to my buddy on how to run this tent when I give him back all his gear. Going to be setting up my 2x3 tent in it's place next go around.
Well that's all everyone.
Happy growing!!!!
So I have to say keeping the plant short has been easy. Learned how to do that with my micro aerogarden grow I did. The hardest part of this has been humidity. When the lights go off the humidity jumps up to about 66%-68% and then when the lights turn on it slowly drops to 60%-61% this last week. I'm hoping that with this recent leaf strip it might be able to stay a bit lower. The temperature had been a bit higher then I'd like but it's manageable.
This was the last of the training. Tomorrow when the lights turn in I'll remove the soft ties and let her grow.
Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone
Man did this plant have some growth over the last week. Hope it was a last spring before at helps and starts to push all the energy to the buds, because if it grows as much next week like it did this week, I'll be having a bit of issue with the light and we'll have to turn it down. And I don't want to do that. All of nothing lol
The environment has been getting a little easier to control with the weather outside getting colder and less rainy. I've been able to get the humidity down to 55% a few days but I forgot to turn the dehumidifier back on after doing a tank swap in my main room and the humidity went up a bit. Ones I got it back on everything went back to normal.
I was able to get the light up a extra 4" and can move it up maybe a extra inch but then the ballast well be really close to the top of the tent. Not something that is recommended.
Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!
Oh boy am I happy I did a test run on this before giving it to my buddy. This is not a grow for noobs what so ever. The limited height and size makes it extremely difficult. Going to do one more grow after this to try and really get it on point for him so that I can be like "ok bro so here are the does and don't for this tent" lol. Next to the lack of space for any more growth, it's all looking good.
Well that's all everyone so happy growing!!!
Well after having issues with my 3x3 set up, I decided to move the 2x2 over to the main room and see if it helps get the humidity down. And it did. Went from 65% down to 45% the first day now it goes back and forth between 45% and 50%. Way better then 58% and 66% if you ask me.
I also opened the tent up so that it can get a bit of the extra light from my other lights. Especially as one of the buds is up past the light. Lol been a interesting grow so far thats for sure.
Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!
So I ended the week with a defoliation and removed about 30 leafs to help increase light penatration because I'm only running g the light at 75% because of a few close buds to the light. I'm heading to my storage tomorrow to get a different light that's a 100w quantum boards style led. It's 30W less but I'll be able to get a bit more space between the light and the plants.
Next to that nothing else new.
Happy growing everyone!!!!
Happy HALLOWEEN growmies!!!! 🎃
Doing this post earlier because it's Mrs.Ginger Gnomes birthday and won't have time to do it later.
The plants doing great, had to do a big feed yesterday to get the run off ppm levels down a bit, had ceeeeped up to 1800ppm. Also noticed that the buds are starting to grow a bit. Another week of nutrients and then I'll start flushing.
Well that's all, happy growing and happy Halloween everyone!!!!
Well got about 80% Milky trenchomes and I started flushing about 5 days ago. PPM run off is below 100. Going to probably give it another 2-3 days and then give her the chop chop.
That's all for now so happy growing!!!
This is so good to know, cuz I have some Aurora Indica seeds I'm planning to run in a while so it's nice to know she is one that likes to stretch. Thanks for sharing!
Damn growmie that Aurora has some fuckin legs!! Noticed that one cola made it's way past the light lol. I've had that issue in the past too ha. Looks good tho!
Not very tall outside, with 20l pot and lst just about 1,5m.
My crosses of it indoors were about 80cm and I'd change to 12/12 with about 35cm (7L)
Hope it helps, you can check it on my diary 😉
Looks great! When you say your EC is 1.0 with that recipe, I take it your deluding down to 1.0?
Ive been struggling to catch a rhythm with the AN sensi coco. Always get to a point where tops yellow and new growth is extra thin and yellow
@Ginger_gnome, Im feeding at 1.1ec on my two mains and runoff is .9 on one .8ec on the other. I did reduce my feeds a bit after seeing your low feeds and amazing health and color. Thanks for the response and your journaling!
@ZigZagWanderer, no thats what I got. I just noticed that when I did my journals I was putting down ml/L when it was ml/G. So it should be 2.5ml to 1 gal. What's your run off ec?
