Well, this story starts at my local dispensary. I was looking for something fresh and they had just got in a batch of SFV OG. The tested THC level of of the flower was a teeny bit over 30%. This particular dispensary uses a testing house that just happens to be across the street from my work, and I know the owner and know that his business is 100% legit. As I was partaking one evening, and near the end of my jar, I came across a flower that had a few very healthy looking seeds. Hmmmm.... From past experience, I have learned that seeds from plants that were grown from feminized plants are almost always female. I have also experienced that sometimes those seeds have a tendency to produce plants that are hermaphrodites. That being said, the SFV that produced the seeds was very tasty and very potent, it definitely did the trick. So I decided to plant one and see how it goes. Or more accurately, how it grows. I have my regular grow going right now, 3 weeks in to some chemdawg, and I decided to grow this SFV in the same tent for now. I normally grow for 2 months or so in veg mode, and then take clones and pass the 2 month old plants to my next door neighbor who flowers them in his tent, while I continue vegging the new clones for the next cycle. Works great, we harvest every 2 months. Anyway, my neighbor has a separate closet with lighting and ventilation which we sometimes also utilize. The plan is, once I pass the SFV plant off to him, he will flower that one in the closet away from the other plants just in case it's a male. I'm actually hoping that it is a male, or in the least a hermaphrodite. I've always wanted to try cross-breeding. and if I can collect some pollen I'll try crossing it with a flower from the chemdawg just for the hell of it. 😎 Day 4 Used my handy dandy turkey baster and gave a her a small watering around the base of the plant. I'll give her a good watering in another day or 2. Day 6 Just gave her a good watering session just after I took the picture.

Day 15 - Gave her a good watering today with some tap water I left outside for a day, and then ph'd to 6.5 Day 16 - Her leaves are a little droopy, probably should have waited an extra day to water her. But overall she's doing well, now at 3 1/2 inches. Day 17 - Transplanted her into a 7 gallon container today. Applied a generous portion of Great White Granular #1 to the outer soil that will be in contact with the roots to help minimize any transplant shock. After transplanting I passed her off to my neighbor who will continue to grow and nurture her in his ventilated, mylar lined hall closet. I'll be getting daily photos and keeping track of her continued growth. Day 18 - She's still a little droopy from all the water she's gotten recently. Gonna let her dry out for a good minute before her next watering. 😐 Day 19 - All is well, she seems to like her new home. She's now at 4 1/2" Day 20 - Now at 5" Day 21 - 5 1/2 inches and growing 😁

Day 29 - She's looking very healthy. Day 30 - 11 1/2" and growing. Tomorrow I'm gonna defoliate just a few of the largest leaves which are blocking precious light from the lower branches. Day 31 - 13" I'm going to clip a few of the larger fan leaves to get more light down to the lower branches. Day 32 - Clipped just 4 of the really large leaves last night. I'll clip some more in the near future, don't want to do too much at once. Tomorrow I'll top the main stalk. 13 1/2" tonight. 😀 Day 33 - Gave her a good watering tonight with aerated water. She got a good dose of Fox Farms Grow Big (2 tsp per gallon) and she took in 1 1/2 gallons ph'd to 6.5 Also clipped a few more leaves and beheaded the main stalk. 14" Day 34- She's looking good! 14 1/2" Day 35 - 15" and looking good 😎

Day 50 - Still looking good. 😎 Day 51 - 22 1/2" Day 52 - Watered tonight with aerated tap water ph'd to 6.7, 1 1/2 gallon. 23" Day 53 - 24" Day 54 - 24 1/2" Day 55 - She's having some problems. Neighbor informed me that he noticed today that many of the large fan leaves are yellowing, and I went over and looked and also found some leaf tips are clawing and one leaf had brown spots. Nute lockout? Water always ph'd to approx 6.5, temp is around 75 degrees and humidity is 40. Flushed with 4 gallons aerated ph'd tap water tonight. 😬 Day 56 - Yellowing has spread but I think it could be worse. Flushing seemed to have helped a bit.

Hey guys, looks the the SFV OG is having an issue. Neighbor informed me today that she has some fan leaves yellowing and he said it just started today. Also brown spots. Temp is 75 and humidity is 40. Nute burn? Any ideas?

Without knowing the specifics of your grow I am thinking your ph in substrate has gotten out of range and your in lock out by several deficiency signs at once showing up. Good luck and happy growing 🌱🌱🌱

Day 57 - Damage has lightly spread through the plant, I will flush again once she dries out and possibly add some cal/mag. Thanks to all who have answered my grow question, really appreciate it! 😎💪 🙏 Once I can pinpoint the solution I'll post as solved, but you all have provided valuable info! Day 58 - No real change. I want to get some flowering nutes into her soon but need to make sure everything is stabalized. Day 59 - She's ready for some water but I'll wait until tomorrow. Want to let her dry out pretty good after her last flush. Tomorrow I plan to flush again with water and then follow with a gallon of water mixed with Fox Farms Tiger Bloom and a little cal/mag ph'd to 6.5 If all looks well after that I will continue as normal. Day 60 - She looks pretty healthy other than the pale green look, I think the previous flush helped. New leaves have no clawing or tip nute problem indications. Mixed up 2 gallons of tap water with 2 tsp fox farms tiger bloom per gallon and added 1 tsp cal mag plus to the 2 gallon mix (2.5ml per gallon) and then ph'd to 6.43 Watered her up and looking forward to seeing how she looks tomorrow 🙏 Day 60 - No change, so far fingers crossed Day 62 - I'm not sure what was causing the problem. I was only using water in the 6.4 - 6.7 range, and very minimal nutes. But after a good flushing she perked right back up. The addition of some calmag and nutes post flush should hopefully help. Thank you guys for your assistance. 💪 Day 63 - 28 1/2"

Day 71 - Watered tonight with tap water mixed with 2 tsp Fox Farms Tiger Bloom and 1/2 tsp calmag per gallon, ph'd to 6.5 The runoff water in the tray is 6.33 Tomorrow I will defoliate her a bit. Day 72 - She's maintaining. Defoliation tomorrow. Day 73 - Defoliated her today, all in all she's doing well. Day 74 - She's continuing to grow. will defoliate a bit more in a couple of days. She's stretching, up to 33 1/2" now. Day 75 - She looks like she has pretty much completely recovered from her earlier lockout. She's greened back up a bit and there's buds forming all over the place 😎 Day 76- Planning on defoliating her a little more tonight. Day 77 - Looking ok.

Day 113 - Staring week 9 of flowering and finally I'm see some amber trichomes. Won't be long now. 🙏 Day 114 - No real change from yesterday Day 115 - The buds are truly beautiful, the pics don't do them justice. They're very round, golf ball like. Lots of small buds though on the inside area. But I'm sure they'll smoke up nicely. 😜 Watered her tonight with tap ph'd to 6.6 Day 116 - Mostly milky trichomes with a just few amber ones, getting closer Day 117 - Seeing the trichomes finally turning amber. Hoping to harvest Friday. Day 118 - The amber is starting to spread Day 119 - Looking forward to sampling this one

By far the stickiest plant I've trimmed in a while. The buds have the sweetest fragrant smell I have seen in quite some time. I'll have to let them dry out a bit to get an idea of what the true aroma will be
