Both of these plants ended up being monsters. They grow really bushy and you will end up with a lot of larf unless you keep them trimmed up. I tested these with my tCheck at 21.5% & 22.5% on the top buds. Smoke is lovely with some berry and skunk. Very smooth and dreamy. Not couch lock, but a very laid back high. Great for pain relief of insomnia.
The only problem I had with the nutrients is when I tried to cut down on the GROW during flowering. Use the recommended dosage and these nutrients are great.
Kini (Hindu Kush) - Kini was the first to sprout on 9/15/21. She was fimmed first on 9/12 to try to slow her down, and when a branch was accidentally snapped off during LST she ended up giving us three clones. For the first several weeks she was the biggest of the bunch. I think she may have gotten too full, however, and never really stretched after going to flower. She had a LOT of growth and a lot of popcorn and larfy buds. One of her nicest buds tested at 22.5% TCH.
Lorraine (Hindu Kush) - Lorraine sprouted on 9/22/21. She grew about the same as the other until the flip to flower. I think a did a better job of LST, defoliation, and spacing out the buds on her. She stretched the most and her buds were fat and dense. In the last couple of days she even put on a little bit of purple. Unfortunately, I was too busy trying to keep warm at that point to get many pictures :( She tested at 21.5% TCH.
I have a White Widow seedling that is showing brown spots. I am not sure if the LED light was too close, or if it is showing nutrient deficiencies/excesses. pH=5.8, PPM=160 (80ppm in well water).
@Hazemaster420, Found out that she was actually looking for Magnesium. I had reduced the GROW at the end of flower, and that contained the Mg. Adding some Epsom salts has her on the mend :)
@LashaB3RR, Thanks. This is my first grow so I am feeling pretty good about it. Now for those flowers to finish to I can get on to harvest, dry, and cure (and smoking) :)
@MrGrow, Thanks I had fun growing them. I am having a lot of fun smoking them too :) I freeze dried part of the crop, ready to smoke in 48 hours. The rest is curing in Grove bags.
How did you like the freeze drying method? I personally think your freeze dried buds look better, how is the taste comparing to buds dried the regular way?
