Hi guys :D Welcome to S03 of Buds - Growing experience!
This season I'll cultivate a strain selection for a few contests and some sponsored grows BUT all of them were strains that I was most curious about and having 30 top strains to select from, it was hard to define the best concidering, flavour, taste, effect, THC amount and visual appeal. I'm very pleased to announce that Sweet Seeds and Zamnesia gave me the opportunity to partially sponsor this grow season by supplying me wiht their strains of my choice.
For my hydro setup I'll be using the Green House Feeding Nutrient Starter Kit which I've got for participating in their contest. I still need to read into how much nutrients I'll need for this season since I'll run only automatic strains with the exception of Dark Phoenix which will be in the same reservoir as 2 other automatic strains. I'll also do something a bit different this time, because I'll also grow one strain in a RQS fabric pot and soil, which I never did before.
For the first time I'll also be using the PLANT SUCCESS ORCA LIQUID MYCORRHIZAE after reading a lot of positive things about the fungi and the product.
I've also learned a lot from my last grow season which ended in 2 plants dying off because of bacteria in my reservoirs and both res' were cleaned with hospital grade chemicals to remove 99.9% of all bacteria in both reservoirs before the start of this season.
Let's hope for the best and I hope that I'll have a lot of fun doing it :)

Hi guys!
This past week was a bit strange. I need to learn more about the GHF nutrients because I gave my plants 1/8 (for automatics) of the amount for the first/second week and after 2 days my plants went almost all pale, so that was definitely a deficiency. Then I added quite a bit more of these nutrients and I think I overdid it but the plants came back to color again (70-80%ish) so that's a good sign. To lower the 700ppm value I added around 20L of water, it's around 500 now. This should make it easier for the plants to jump back. I'll keep an eye on them, if the plants won't show signs of recovery, I'll remove half the water and add some more plain water to drive the ppm down even further. Other than that, looking at the leaves I can clearly see that it's drowning because of my faulty air stone which I fixed now and it should recover from lower amounts of oxygen.
Stay tuned guys

Hi guys,
another week has past, still not much to comment because the plant develops properly. I topped the plant and I'm very happy that it recovered almost instantly after a day or two. The orca myco works its wonders. The root system stretches every single day significantly which should pretty soon transfer more nutrients to the upper part of the plant. Can't stop looking at the beautiful white roots :D
Stay tuned guys.
Much love!

Hi guys,
I'm a few days behind with the update but here it finally is :D
Before I started working on them over the week, I switched the top around to be able to introduce all 70L of water. I've also decided to replace some plants so the bigger plants have more space to grow near the smallest ones.
The plant was topped a few days ago, it recovered like a champ after 24h. Actually it didn't look like it was an issue at all. So a few days later I decided to defoliate the plant before I main-line it. The roots are bigger with every day.
It should start to preflower in a few days so I'll probably introduce a small amount of flowering nutes today. It looks healthy and strong, what can I say more :D I'm truly happy how good it looks for now.
No fuckups no more from last season. Everything seems to be on point. And please tell me how much you should not train Automatic strains 😂 It's as easy as it gets. You just have to make sure that you stop at the right time but topping, mainlining, defoliation, stem bending and stem pinching are all working as it would in normal feminized genetics.
See you soon guys!
Much love

Hi guys,
first of all I'd rather call it "Hairy Berry" instead of "Bruce Banner" looking at all the hairs the stems have developed lately. That's a funny development. theres not much to say. I feed, I train, I defoliate the plant every few days. It seems to recover very fast. I believe all the plants will take around a week longer with the amount of mutilation I'm exposing them to. It's fine by me if it works. I also have bent and squeezed the stem of most of the plants again to make it recover and get larger to be able to transport more nutrients in the future. I call it a investment ;)
Other than that I've started feeding them blooming nutrients. All the plants seem to be diggin' it.
So far so good.

Hi guys!
It's finally flowering time in the Marvel Universe! In the first few weeks of veg it was indeed bigger, but now Auto Amnesia doubled in size and got a bit bigger than Bruce Banner. But it seems to be super happy and healthy in the reservoir with the other two plants. I've added 10L of nutrient rich water and topped it with 10L of PH adjusted water to the 40-50L that were still in the res. The plant seems to like it a lot. I also defoliated Bruce a couple of times and it took it like a champ probably due to the Hydroponic setup it's in. I also started feeding the plants with blooming nutrients and they seem to dig it :D In 2-3 weeks I'll be able to start shooting some nice closeups when Bruce starts to develop some serious bud sites.

Hi guys,
This week I did something special. Something y'all probably gonna argue, but I did it anyway. I defoliated the shiiiiiiit out of every single plant in the tent 😎, a few weeks into blooming. I had the urge to lollipop the plants and start focusing the plants' energy distribution to the main stems and only the biggest forming branches and buds. Only time will tell if it was a good idea, but I took into consideration the fact that I'm running a pretty nice DWC setup and the plants are practically on point every single week. They are looking really good.
I also added 30 Liters of water with nutrients, they seem to dig it. The pH and PPM are also on point. I've also added 2h to the light schedule. They look super happy so the recovery time should be minimal, like less than 24h because of the knowledge from all the other defoliations (not that heavy tho) before this season.
So that's it for this week. Please comment on the uber heavy defoliation this week. What's your opinion? I wanna know!

Hi guys,
here's another update of Bruce Banner! The defoliation did a great job on the plant. It didn't even have to bounce back and the energy went straight to the buds. A week after, the buds look definitely thicker. I'm not so sure why, but I wasn't able to train it the way I'd like to. It's probably because of the limited space because both plants next to Bruce got so big I didn't really see a way to open it up to its full potential. But now that the Scrog net is over them and the branches are taller I can try to manipulate the plant over the next 5-6 weeks. I really can't say much else that I've been loving this run very much so far. The conditions are on point, the plants are super happy, so am I.
Stay healthy!

Hi guys n gals!
Welcome to another update of Bruce Banner from 420 FastBuds! Another week passed by, it's slowly getting better imo. I'm a bit able to control the plant better. The plants (3 in 1 res) drink around 20-30L a week, a big more than a week before. The buds are finally starting to form! I can't wait to see its full potential.

Hi guys,
welcome to the freakshow!!! If you wanna see something crazy than you came to the right place. I'll need to ask you guys a few things about this one.
there's def something waaaaaay off on this plant. It's either genetically or caused by excessive training. I've never seen a plant where all the stems are filled with trichomes, the plant produces leaves with only 1 to 3 sides which are also filled with trichomes. the branches are soft and the leaves look like they're overwatered. It's bizzare!
Just take a look at it!!!!!
If you ever encountered such a strange modification on a plant, pleasssssse let me know!

Hi guys,
It's another update on this freak. I came to the conclusion that all I can do with it is just to chop it down, cut into pieces and run it through dry ice and a sift to make a 70% Sativa / 30% indica bomb ass kief. So that's the plan for this I don't know what but it looks like no weed in my book! :D
It's going down in a week or two because I finally need to unleash the Dark Phoenix!

Hi guys!
This is also the final week for this creature! I've never seen a more resinous plant than this and I also never seen such a strange looking plant. It looks like anything else than Cannabis. The only thing I can do with it is to cut it into pieces, dry it and run it through dry ice with bubblebags to make the best kief out of it. EVEN THE STEMS ARE FULL OF TRICHOMES, come on! What else can I do with it. There are literally no buds and super strange leaves. I'm thinking about running it once again but I have something reaaaally special for the next season prepared with one of the biggest players in the industry! So stay tuned!

Okay guys!
This is the last update before tomorrows' harvest! Since this plant looks nothing like a real cannabis plant with only popcorn buds and strange looking leaves, I've decided to dry the whole plant and make quality kief out of it with dry ice.
It should actually make for quite an amount of fresh kief looking at all the trichomes everywhere! I've also played with the idea of putting the whole plant through a nug smasher, but we'll see, I didn't make up my mind yet about it.
It's chop-chop time, WEEEEEEE XD XD XD
