The rh has started to drop with the change in seasons. Because of that I’ve added a humidifier to the set up. Having it inside the tent made things far too humid so I have it outside the tent near a vent and that seems to work perfectly to keep the rh around 60%.
Still going strong. I just gave this plant it’s first nutes but only big bloom to help with micro. Today she’s working on her 5th node. This is exciting because I believe at this rate I’ll be giving the plant her first topping next week.
This week the plant reached its 6th node so i started the mainline process. It’s scary taking away all that plant matter but it seems to be responding well
Well, I got a bit too aggressive and snapped one of my mains. I taped it up and it seems to be doing well other than being slightly stunted. Really lucked out.
Anyway, I completed my second topping of this plant so we are up to 4 mains at this point.
Seems like the FFOF soil has gone through all its nutrients and the effect was clear on my plant. I started feeding it now and already have seen a difference in the color of new growth
Again, vegging isn’t super exciting but we’re getting closer to our goal. I believe I’ll be executing the final toppings this week.
This plant really seems to be thriving even with the injury a couple weeks ago. I have a deficiency I’m trying to deal with.
So as I thought I was able to complete the finally topping to bring the total mains for this plant to 8 mains.
I’ve realized what I thought was a deficiency was (I believe) actually nute lockout from over feeding. I flushed the medium and saw encouraging improvement in the first 24 hours
As long as the plant recovers I’m guessing it’ll be another week or 2 before switching to 12/12
This week the plant had strong growth after the flush last week. It’s unfortunate veg is being dragged out a little due to the earlier slow growth from over feeding but that’s the beauty of photos compared to autos.
Last night I defoliated a bit more and tied down 6 of the 8 mains. The other 2 I’m leaving to grow. They were stunted from the branch break early in the plants life.
Hoping to be done with veg SOON. The breeder says this plant doesn’t stretch much so I’m trying to bet some more growth before switching.
Final week of veg is complete. Flipped the lights to 12/12 starting this morning. Addressing a cal or mag issue. TDS is in check but I realized my ph pen was a little out of range. It’s been recalibrated and I upped calmag so fingers crossed.
One week after flip and man has this thing been growing! I’ve taken care of the nutrient issues and sexes the plant as female. The long veg period sucked but now the real fun part has started
Another week gone. This plant is incredibly bushy. It’s really only grown a few inches up but is really filling out. I plan on lollipopping next week for the final defoliation.
Week 3 of flower has appeared! This plant is growing really well now. It’s a short and stocky plant. Very bushy.
Today I gave the plant a bit of a lollipop treatment. Other than pruning off dead leaves and small removals for air flow this will be the last I make alterations to the plant.
I also removed the garden wire and as you can see from pictures it really created a nice shape. You can clearly see now which side I damaged when it was a young plant as that side is stunted
Week 4 of flower has me at the official “halfway” point according to the breeder’s information (I know that’s never accurate).
I would have the think the stretch is just about over. It seems the vertical grown has slowed and I can now see the development of trichomes on the sugar leaves.
I’m excited for the flowers to start building. There isn’t much smell yet but I’m sure that’ll change when the plant changes focus to just flower production
Another week gone.
This plant is starting to get STINKY. Even with the carbon filter scrubbing you can still smell a little when in the basement.
A few days ago I noticed the plant hermed and threw a few pollen sacs. I got all but 1 in time so I’m hoping it isn’t seeded too badly.
This week a bunch of the pistils turned orange. I had been concerned about pollination but it’s thrown a bunch of new white pistils now so I’m less concerned. I have found a few seeds on lower flowers but not too bad.
This plant keep getting more and more stinky. It’s had to describe the smell. Kind of a sweet, gassy funk. I’m excited to see how she turns out
This plant is finishing up nicely. I would assume she’s only got a couple weeks left before harvest.
There was more pollination than I thought. I can see seeds breaching in a couple of places. Disappointing but shouldn’t mess up the harvest
I ended up harvesting this plant at exactly 8 weeks of flowering. I would have liked to give it another week but I was ready to get it out of my tent. This plant hermed on me after the week 3F defoliation. I didn’t see it in time and ended up with some unwanted pollination. After looking up other diaries here it seems this strain is still unstable and has some herm traits.
Other than the herm this plant has some really nice flowers. They’re super frosty and get a great color when maturing. The smell is a sweet, funky, gas tone. A carbon filter is 100% necessary. The flower stretch is true to what breeder says; very small. I wish I would have let this plant grow vertically fore a few more weeks before switching the lights.
Overall I think this plant could be good for somebody with limited space. Growing in your own home would be best as it’s a real stinker. I’d like to give it more stars but I’m knocking it down due to the herming traits.
