deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers and also to those who are fortunate enough not to be! 👨🌾💦💡🌞🌲
Finally!! an authentic sativa strain, a pure breed, cultivated and preserved for generations in the Rif mountains of Morocco, plants hardened by the environment, accustomed to precarious growing conditions, with little water and nutrients, and currently cornered by the arrival in Morocco of foreign strains from Europe or the USA.
Well, the producer claims this is an ancient and native sativa, producer of the finest pollen, which I hope will remind me of the wonderful and warm nights I spent in the Rif mountains, a thousand years ago, smoking kif and talking about the divine and the human. I also owe a fond memory to the hospitality of the people I met there, and now I’m going to have the opportunity to return that friendly welcome, I’m going to give this strain the best home and food and my utmost attention.
Normally it’s a fast-flowering strain, with clearly sativa effects, and it seems that it’s not quite adapted to indoor cultivation, so this grow is going to have an added challenge. Sativa ON! 👨🌾💦🌱🌞
The seed germinated in 24 hours, I prepared a light substrate mix with good drainage and buried the seed directly, I added some homemade auxins to the surface of the substrate, the first watering was with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), Honey, and Ormus, finally, I sprinkled Diatomite to control excess moisture and crawling bugs, I kept the pot in the dark and warm under a grow tent until the seed peeked out.
I’m keeping this seedling, and the others in this series of grows in my small tent of 40x40x140cm with a 30x30cm LED panel and 36w consumption, with a color spectrum of 7700K, for now, I’m keeping a dome over all the seedlings to preserve high relative humidity.
Until next week...

deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋♂️👨🌾
14 days have passed since I put the seed in the substrate. The plant is determined to survive! 🤸♂️
The plant is growing strong and vigorous, the first true leaves are showing, I expect significant growth this week!
In the photos, you can see a slight burn on one of the leaves; I've had the same symptom with two other seedlings, and it's due to a bad light setup. Unlike all my previous grows, where I've used fluorescents (9500K) or CFL (6500K) without any issues, with these seedlings I started using a 7700K LED panel (36w) at 30cm, and after 3 days of this setup, the first signs of light excess began to appear. I then decided to change the setup and move the seedlings to the tent (60x60x140cm) where I have the Vipar Spectra P1000 lamp installed. Currently, the lamp is running at just over a third of its power (29w) and I've placed it 60cm away from the seedlings. The effect has been immediate; it seems the new light is to the seedlings' liking. I will maintain this setup for 24 hours until it's time to transplant to the final pot. Additionally, I've put a small fan that gently sways the seedlings and helps strengthen the stems. 🍃
- Until next week...

deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🖐️👨🌾
This is the growing story of this strain and seven others, all pure sativa or sativa-dominant. I'm looking for plants, flavors, and smells that take me back to my old memories, where smoking marijuana was always a social experience and above all, an attitude of rebellion, which undoubtedly influenced the rest of my life. Today, for me, smoking marijuana is just an acceptable solitary vice, growing it at home allows me self-sufficiency in consumption; I just want to have my box full of the best marijuana I can grow. 🤷♂️
Relentlessly, I've decided to search for those old sativas all over the world, in this diary from Morocco😍... of course, as long as the truck holds up! 🚚🚶♂️🤷♂️
21 days have passed since I put the seed in the substrate. I'm growing this seedling on a mixed schedule, indoors for 10 hours sharing the grow tent with all the others, then I take them to the window until dusk (+10 hours).
The seedling is progressing without problems! 🤸♂️ The formation of the second node is underway, the leaves are perfect and expanding day by day!
This week, the first watering to recover the moisture lost over these 3 weeks. I made a mix with my black bean auxins (rooting), honey (rooting, enzymes, and carbohydrates), and bio-fermented pumpkin and minerals (NPK, B, Ca, Carotenes, chitosan, vitamins...) with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA). The day after this watering, when part of the top substrate has dried, I sprinkle diatomaceous earth, this product has several advantages for this stage of growth. It protects me against crawling insects; for this, the powder must be dry, reflects sunlight to prevent the substrate of the small cup from heating up when I take it out in the sun, prevents stem rot due to excess moisture, as it is absorbent, and finally provides silicon that helps harden and give elasticity to stems and leaves.
- Until next week...

Relentlessly, I have decided to search for those old sativas all over the world, in this diary from Morocco 😍... of course, as long as the truck holds up! 🚚🚶♂️🤷♂️
The fourth week has concluded, and halfway through, I transplanted to the final pot, a square, white, old-school 7L pot with homemade aeration.
Three days after the transplant, the plant shows stretching and strength in the stem, the leaves are very large and serrated... excited about this landrace strain.
For this new growing season, I’m going to experiment with foliar fertilization during the vegetative growth stage. I have already tested the compatibility and efficiency of some of my soluble organic preparations, and the result is immediate and very good. Now I will define what combinations I make and the application timing between them. The idea is mainly to maintain a substrate without nutrient clumping that favors the total expansion of the roots and to reach flowering with a very powerful root system that absorbs nutrients from that phase without any problem. Keeping the plants growing, the first weeks with gentle watering so that the plant feeds on the nutrients from the substrate is correct, but I am thinking about the concept of high-yield plants, grown in a moderate substrate size (6-7 liters), where the nutrients from the substrate are released slowly and still deplete in a few weeks. So, I’m going to experiment with these new crops and throughout their vegetative phase with foliar fertilization because I want and need monstrous buds to fill my box!!
** The transplant process to the final pot I do in three differentiated stages, over a process of 3-4 days... how? 🙄🤷♀️
- First day:
- I prepare the substrate carefully, mixing 2 or 3 types of commercial substrate based on their composition and density. I add, to improve drainage and moisture and/or nutrient retention: Perlite, Vermiculite, Zeolite, and Coco fiber; I enrich the mix with worm humus, homemade bokashi, and goat and sheep manure, and finally, I add the minerals at a rate of 1 gram per liter of substrate, in this case, 3 types of clay: Montmorillonite, Kaolin, and Red Illite. Also, basalt rock powder, pumice stone, wood ash, Phosphorite (1.5g/l), and ground Leonardite (4g/l). This time I forgot to add Azomite, one of the most important minerals due to its extensive range of microelements. I will dissolve the micronized Azomite in water and do a deep watering to ensure total distribution throughout the substrate. To finish, I added my activated charcoal preparation with Leonardite and activated with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA). The charcoal retains nutrients and gives structure to the soil; by introducing it with MMA, I ensure inoculation of Microorganisms throughout the substrate. You can see in the photo above the mycelium of microorganisms I found when I opened the container 30 days after making the preparation!
- Before the transplant, I deeply water the small seedling container, so it doesn’t crumble. In the transplant hole, I sprinkle my black bean auxins to promote rooting. I don’t do the first watering until 24 hours later, so the excess moisture from the small container distributes, by capillarity, through the new immediate substrate. In this phase, the roots grow by the minute, and this initial moisture helps indicate the path of the roots.
• Second day:
The small roots are already touching the dry substrate of the new pot; they are thirsty. This is the moment I do the first deep watering, which is very important for me. It serves to moderately moisten the entire substrate, watering with an amount of water that is approximately 15% of the pot's capacity. E.g.: 7-liter pot = 1 liter of initial watering.
But the main function of this watering is to activate the microbiology of the substrate, thus promoting root expansion and plant growth. For this, I include in the watering some of my liquid Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) preparations and sweeten it with natural Honey, which is an excellent source of sugars and contains a multitude of enzymes that help with rooting and the beginning of microbiology propagation, which in turn will start to dissolve and mineralize the organic matter of the substrate and the minerals... I do the watering through the saucer and over the substrate, in a proportion of 1/3.
• Third day:
I fill the pots with the substrate level with the edge. Also, in the case of textile pots, I fill the saucer with river stones that mimic the mother rock and retain moisture and aerate the base, without the risk of substrate stagnation. I don’t want to lose a single centimeter of soil in the container. A few hours after the first watering, the substrate has dropped about 2-3 cm, so I fill this space with dry material from my own production 😋, I save the leaves from defoliations and dry stems, taking advantage of the mulch, pre-digested from previous crops. Recently, I have been practicing to ensure that this material has no larvae, insect eggs, or pathogens; I microwave it for a few minutes!! 🤪 I have to say the results are excellent. Before, in trying to keep the microbiology intact from the reused mulch, I couldn’t get rid of the fungus gnats; now they have completely disappeared, my last advanced crop is pest-free!! 🤠
I keep these new crops on a mixed schedule of 20 hours of light, 10 hours of indoor light under the excellent light of the Vipar P1000 lamp at 50% power (48w) and 30cm from the tops of the seedlings, then 10 more hours in the windows catching the free and unmatched sunlight! 🌞... pot here, pot there, that’s my life as an organic grower, I don’t know anything, but I want to understand everything!!
- Until next week...

- Five weeks old, topped above the fourth node, great stretching and leaf expansion, which are huge, significant thickening of the stem... this plant competes in vigor and structure with Queen Mother! 🌿💦🌞
- The old-school pot retains moisture from the first watering, I'll do the second one next.
- Three days ago I called Doctor Apical, to make a clean cut at the apex of the plant above the fourth node, I hope he forgives me! 🙏 Controlling height is essential, increasing vital production!!

Sixth week completed, the vegetative growth as well, yesterday I switched to flowering schedule. The plant has doubled in size, the leaves, very sativa, are gigantic, I've done several ties on all the branches.
Yesterday I switched this and 6 other plants to flowering, I've started experimenting with a technique to try to speed up the transition to flowering and thus slow down, as soon as possible, the stretch. I use a 730nm (10w) LED bulb, I turn it on 15 minutes before putting the plants in darkness and keep it on for another 30 minutes. It seems that this light frequency helps with the quick change of phytochrome, this tricks the plant and in practice, they say the plant behaves as if the schedule were 12.5/13.5h, gaining 2 hours and accelerating the entry into flowering... let's see if I notice any difference. I've used this lamp previously in advanced flowering stages as a spectrum supplement, now I want to test this theory, if in a week pre-flowering starts, I would consider this experiment a success.
• This week one watering and one foliar application.
Regarding nutrition, I continue with my organic madness, absorbed and withdrawn in the safety of my environment, without looking elsewhere, an autistic and independent exercise, which besides the genuine empirical trial, allows me to have my box full of good marijuana, and the consequence of so much good smoke makes it very enjoyable for me to fill out these grow diaries, reflecting, and without letting the smoke escape, talking, from the most intimate, through the scenes, characters, or stories that accompany the photos of the crops, indispensable in my rebellion, where I feel most free, and that only want to bring a smile once in a while... because if I don’t do this, I lock myself in my home lab, with my marijuana joints, my old movies, and the music... letting the smoke escape and nothing more!
Well, this platform of grow diaries is taking me along and I gladly let myself be carried away... smoking sativa from the first hour of the morning is brutal, I love it!! 🖐️👨🌾

Seventh week of cultivation and the first since the transition to flowering, the plant is stretching a lot for my capabilities, the excessive control with my electricity consumption surely has something to do with it, this season I’m growing with an average of 30w per plant, last year I used over 100w per plant and you can tell, the genetics are also prone to stretching, but everything is still going well.
It’s a plant, compared to others, that needs less water, the nutrients so far are well received, I stopped foliar fertilization a week ago. To combat the significant increase in relative humidity and the appearance of fungi, during the dark period I’m gathering the eleven current crops in a room with a dehumidifier, maintaining a relative humidity during that period, around 55-60%. Tomorrow I’m going to do a foliar application with soluble sulfur for the young plants, and for two others that I have starting flowering I will apply horsetail foliar, to prevent powdery mildew with both products. Also, this week of very cloudy days, I keep all the plants with 12h of indoor light, if sunny days return, I will take my plants out for a couple of hours to enjoy the free and inimitable sunlight.

• WITH YOUR PERMISSION, I REBEL... 💃👨🌾
In the rain-soaked garden
Without Guru, without Method, without Master
Just you and me, nature and the holy spirit
Without Guru, without Method, without Master
Seventh week since I started the new growing season, after a brief break, a week where I question, once again, the purpose of these weekly diaries on GD...
After more than two years publishing my organic grows, learning, sharing, tirelessly, knowledge, formulas, and techniques, writing from the emotion and euphoria of the eternal learner, without apology, trying at the same time, to lighten things up with my anti-heroes and memes, losers who have had the opportunity to express themselves freely, maybe because I am one of them, or all of us! 👨🚀... all good! it has been fun and has allowed me to better structure my experience... but I’m tired!!
The drift I observe in GD doesn’t sit well with me, the enjoyment I felt before has gradually become, for me, vain and futile, I have sought knowledge and shared it... Is anyone there?, I have maintained independence from the soluble fertilizer industry, organic or chemical synthesis, and their predetermined nutrition tables, I have resisted some sponsorships... because some ask for more than they give!😯 and now I find myself like Simon in the desert, but still, I prefer to keep my grow diaries clean and free of dust and chaff... to be or to have!!
There’s a trend, or rather, a race for the "likes", in which I have also participated, that is mostly related to sponsorships, and also with those who, lacking other things, want to earn their place in heaven on GD... How many gurus will there be next month?... and the month after? Usually, I receive "likes" from strangers, on old comments from here and there, also kind messages in my grow diaries, but mostly serialized, ignoring any context... all waiting for reciprocity, and I have behaved this way until now with this matter, but I observe that this leads to a loss of authenticity and even a perversion of the system, because I believe that the interest no longer lies in the grow diaries. For my part, I will not return any decontextualized or systematized "like", whether in my diaries or outside of them, I appreciate and encourage communication among growers, and I am always open, with enthusiasm, to share my experience with anyone who wishes.
As for my grow diaries, I will be more cryptic, to see if I can rescue some time and energy to do other things and finish the ongoing grow diaries.
That’s all for today...

Eighth week of life, second week of flowering, third since the first apical cut and two days away from the second apical cut to the resulting tips of the first.
This is the big plant in my garden; if it weren't for growing indoors, with clear space limitations, I would be completely happy with this type of plant.
Little by little, the new leaves are already showing thin and sharp, the long vertical branches promise to fill with flowers, I'm eager to see this racial plant grow!... long live sativa!
To try to curb vertical growth, I've done an apical cut on the two main tips, and I've also added side lighting to the tent with a color temperature (7700K) that will help strengthen the secondary branches and populate the middle part of the plant.
For now, gentle and varied watering to help the root system expand, the plant has a moderate water consumption, according to the old-school pot, which has less evaporation than textile pots or air-pots... for now, one watering a week.
All of next week is forecasted to be cloudy skies, when I don't expect sunny skies, I keep the plants 12h indoors, when there's sun, I have them 10h indoors and 2.5h outdoors.

It's the third week since switching to flowering, and this plant has been the first to enter pre-flower, with floral buds starting to take center stage. It remains the tallest plant among all my current grows, also the most elegant, plus being narrow allows me to fit it very well in the grow tent, but I'm afraid if it keeps growing, I'm going to have to cut the upper branches because it's reaching my height limit. I've added a new light to the canopy to try to curb the stretching; it's an LED panel with SMB301 diodes at 2700k + 660nm, and for now, I have it at 50%.
Water consumption is optimal; I water every 3-4 days... all good! This week, a light watering to avoid interfering with the important hormonal change that comes with entering flowering. 🤫 For now, I maintain a foliar application every 3 days with Horsetail extract for fungus control, due to the high humidity; the dehumidifier doesn't stop!! all good!!

Plants at these growth stages don't have much more to tell, today I want to talk about two formulations of soluble Bio nutrients that I'm trying out this week, after being in anaerobic fermentation for 6 months for one and 10 months for the other... really exciting!!
These homemade Bio fertilizers perfectly align with my concept of self-sufficient, independent, and clandestine grows, but above all rebellious, for all it means to me, and the day I manage to replace electric light in my grows with sunlight, the circle will be completely closed.
Both are based on the activation of Mountain Microorganisms, from the two Solid Mountain Microorganism (MMS) starters that I maintain with different strains collected from various virgin forests in my area; during the fermentation process, the microorganisms propagate, solubilize nutrients, and mineralize organic matter, plus they chelate the minerals present in the formula; the longer the anaerobic fermentation, the more nutrients and minerals are hydrolyzed.
I've found that with the regular and continuous application of activated mountain microorganisms (MMA), I maintain a high rate of decomposition of the organic matter and minerals present in the substrate; there is no limit to the application of MMA!!, there is no danger of saturation or over-fertilization; what I achieve is to greatly accelerate the natural processes of decomposition of organic matter and thus the assimilation of nutrients; the MMA provide the nutrients and minerals that the plant requests,
How long does a Microorganism live? How long does it take for a bacterium to become a grandmother, great-grandmother, or great-great-grandmother? Do they live minutes, hours...? What I've experienced is that with a constant inoculation of MMA, the organic matter from the mulch completely decomposes and turns into humus within a growing period; approximately, I add several times about 100-125g of dry matter to the mulch, which ends up disappearing; I also make regular applications of solid amendments on the surface with guanos, algae, meals, etc.; finally, for me, it is more efficient to create substrate mixes that prioritize aeration, drainage, and cation exchange, with hardly any added nutrients, just minerals, except for some worm humus and bokashi that I add to the substrate; I prefer it, for being more efficient and controllable, than to create super substrates, with which I experimented extensively in my first grows.
These Bio ferments will replace some similar formulas that were running out, but I do not discard them; as they run out, I am making a second activation of Microorganisms, which will lead to a second generation of microbiology and continue the hydrolysis of the nutrients or minerals present; I will keep the barrels closed for as long as the new formulas last... and back to square one!!
From the fourth generation of Microorganisms, these will be suitable for human consumption... but that's another story! 🤷♀️
• MMA Ultra (Activated Mountain Microorganisms in liquid form with nutrients and minerals) - 02/05/21
This is a very complex formula that alone would be enough to carry any grow from start to finish; it includes several vegetables (Pumpkin, carrot, and garlic) for their properties and vitamins, also three types of guanos (bat, bird, and mealworm) these guanos provide a great wealth of trace elements, in addition to NP; three minerals (Phosphorite, Azomite, and leonardite), and to finish, a bit of Kelp, and papain enzymes that will help convert protein (N) into amino acids.
To start the fermentation, I used whey from neighboring sheep, alkaline spring water to balance the acidification of the preparation, organic molasses, fresh yeast, and my Solid Mountain Microorganisms (MMS). Since February is a cold time, I kept the barrel warm during the first month to accelerate fermentation; after that, it has been closed and in the dark until today.
•• Second formula:
MMA Mineral (Activated Mountain Microorganisms in liquid form with minerals) 05/08/21
This Bio preparation guarantees the presence of all the minerals from the periodic table, also essential macro elements (P, K, Mg, Ca, S), thanks to the addition of 12 powdered minerals (Azomite, Montmorillonite, Basalt, Phosphorite, Kaolin, Illite, Ash, Pumice, Dolomite, Leonardite, Epsom salt, and Potassium sulfate); it is designed to be used from the end of the vegetative growth stage.
The procedure and fermentation elements are the same as the previous Bio fertilizer; in this case, to accelerate the chelation or solubilization of the minerals, I used double the amount of my Solid Mountain Microorganisms (MMS).
The main component of these Bio ferments is the Mountain Microorganisms, which solubilize the rest of the components, but they can also be replaced by whey, and then we would make a Lacto ferment, where the lactic acid and lactic acid bacteria from the whey are also very effective for chelating minerals, mainly phosphoric rock; the lacto ferments work very well for foliar nutrition and as a prebiotic.
Finally, it can also be replaced by fresh manure, freshly out of the backside of a free-range cow; here there’s a series of bacteria, but mainly Bacillus subtilis, in addition to all the nutrients from the manure itself that make this preparation the star of all of them, but I can't speak more about it because I have no practical experience; my wife forbade me from bringing manure into the house... so maybe another time. 🤷♀️
If any grower is interested in making a formula, I can provide the proportions of the ingredients, etc. 🙋♂️👨🌾

deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🖐️👨🌾
This is the growing story of a genuine sativa strain from Morocco, the old Kif and the blonde hash I smoked, surrounded by the unparalleled Moroccan hospitality, has taken me back on a journey through the mountainous roads of the Rif or the dusty ones of the south, Salam Aleikum 🕌... grow marijuana and enjoy!! 😍
Fourth week of flowering, the growth of the flower buds has skyrocketed, while vertical growth has slowed down, and this is very good news because it fits perfectly with the height I have available, now all that's left is to fill the long branches with big buds!! 🖐️👨🌾💧💡 The morphology of this plant is perfect for lateral lighting, due to its narrow width!
The plant has a good water consumption, watering every 3 days, for now it seems that everything is going smoothly, I can't wait to see the formation of the flowers of this strain.
My battle against mold and high relative humidity levels is succeeding, I make periodic foliar applications with horsetail extract or chamomile infusion, I maintain humidity levels around 60% with a dehumidifier and good air circulation, the first signs of mold that appeared two weeks ago on the lower leaves of all the crops have completely stopped!
Additionally, the water I extract from the dehumidifiers (EC: 0.07) works very well for watering, mixing it with mountain water gives a final EC of 0.15, which allows me to slightly increase the nutrient concentration, although my nutrition strategy is based on feeding a little with each watering, I usually don't exceed EC levels of 1.8, the common range is around EC: 1.0/1.2.

Fifth week of flowering... brutal!!
Fantastic evolution of this strain, strength, beauty, good shape, and now some huge flowering buds!!
The producer mentioned that this is a strain that requires few nutrients, I understand that if we think about its natural environment in the Rif mountains, with poor, dry soils with few nutrients, it's said that it doesn't need many nutrients, but I have to say that the plant looks happy, eats everything, and everything suits it well... and I ask, when does food taste better for us?... when we come hungry!! 🙋♂️👨🌾
This week I made the first fertilization since transplanting to a pot, I changed the side LED panel from 7700K to another one of 3000K + 660nm, as the cultivation progresses I will increase the intensity of the lights.
Other than that, I am very happy with the strain...

Sixth week of flowering... fantastic flowers!!
This is a tall and elegant plant, discreet as well, it takes up a small space in the grow tent, it doesn't bother its bushier companions, only when I pick up the pot and look at it, I understand its beauty, the buds grow airy with long white pistils... and when I touch them, it's like touching foam, incredibly delicate... and as a bonus, when I rub it, lemony aromas of dawn, intoxicating!!
At the rate it's going, I might harvest in 2-3 weeks, I'm eager to get some hash or smoke kif mixed with a bit of pure tobacco.

Seventh week of flowering... beautiful flowers!!
I water deeply every four days, letting the substrate dry out quite a bit; this genetic variety doesn't need much water. Also, the old-school pot has less evaporation than the textile or air-pot ones. The last two waterings were very light to prepare the roots for this coming week, where I'm going to give them nutrients to support flower growth; I continue with foliar applications every three days with horsetail and chamomile for fungus control, I keep a dehumidifier running and have added an air extractor in the grow tents.
The highlight of this week has been the sunny days; these allow me to reduce the artificial light time by two hours per grow tent (I have 3). After that, I take all my pots out for two and a half hours and tirelessly chase the sun rays that come through my windows. I really enjoy seeing the plants exposed to the inimitable and free sunlight! 🌞💡, plus, it's a lot of fun moving the plants around to not miss a single ray of sunshine!! 💃🤷♀️

deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be!🖐️👨🌾 This Christmas we continue growing Marijuana!! All for the cause!! 👈🧙♂️👍
This is the grow story of a genuine sativa strain from Morocco, the old Kif and the blonde hash I smoked, surrounded by the unparalleled Moroccan hospitality, has taken me back on a journey through the mountainous roads of the Rif or the dusty ones of the south, Salam Aleikum 🕌... grow marijuana and enjoy!!😍
Eighth week of flowering for this ancestral sativa, fantastic flowers, dense, beautiful, delicate, very airy with a woolly touch, super delicate!
The columnar structure of this strain is proving to be very practical inside the grow tent, it takes up little width and is concentrating all the energy in the thick buds of the canopy.
This strain, just like the other Queen Mother, are the only ones from all my grows that have shown no signs of mold, these two plants have leaves similar in firmness and thickness, they are the toughest leaves among all my grows.
I have been cautious with this strain in terms of nutrient concentration, at times it has seemed to me that it doesn't need much, but all is well, she is happy in her tent and especially with the two and a half hours I give her in the sun!

deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🙋♂️👨🌾 In 2022, I'm still growing marijuana, to smoke as much as I can. All for the cause 👈🧙♂️👍
This is the growing story of a genuine sativa strain from Morocco, the old Kif and the blonde hash I smoked, surrounded by the unmatched Moroccan hospitality, has taken me back on a journey through the mountainous roads of the Rif or the dusty ones of the south, Salam Aleikum 🕌... grow marijuana and enjoy!! 😍
Ninth week of flowering for this ancestral sativa, fantastic flowers, dense, beautiful, delicate, very airy with a different shape from all the others, I observe the plant daily to avoid over-ripening, as it has reached the harvest date suggested by the producer, for now the trichomes are transparent, and clearly the plant has a good metabolism, as the water consumption is high. I water every 3-4 days.
I didn't want to do the second feeding, as the plant is growing well and I don't think it has more than two weeks of life left, I feed it with mild concentrations of varied nutrients.
I've increased the brightness in the canopy of the grow tent to produce more flower mass, as soon as I turn off another of my tents, I will max out the power of all the lamps.
This strain, like the other Queen Mother, are the only ones from all my grows that have shown no signs of mold, these two plants have leaves similar in firmness and thickness, they are the toughest leaves among all my grows.
I wish you a happy year 2022!!

Tenth week of flowering for this genuine Moroccan sativa, the buds are increasing both in thickness and density, although they remain airy colas. This strain is very easy to grow, has shown great resistance to diseases and vigorous growth from day one, its elegant columnar morphology makes it very practical to place in the grow tent. So far, I have been careful with the nutrient concentration in this plant, but I am going to increase them in these last weeks of life, I believe the plant will respond well, even though the producer advises low nutrients for this strain, but the increased water consumption and the sight of the constantly growing cola canopy give me hope for a visible result, let's see if it shows next week. 🤞
I added a side panel (3000K + 660nm at 50% 17w) on the wall opposite the other one I already had... more light = more floral mass!

Eleventh week of flowering for this genuine Moroccan sativa, the buds keep growing, there’s no trace of amber trichomes, instead, there are still many clear ones, the plant continues to have a high water consumption and I’m giving it food, a good home, company, and rays of sunshine. 🤷♀️☀️🤞
Not much more to say about this vigorous and easy grow, the plant has shed some leaves, few so far!, the lower branches and the flower buds look young and ready to grow much more!

Twelve weeks of flowering from this genuine Moroccan sativa, few signs of aging and water consumption remains high, the buds have become denser, although they continue to be very airy. 🤷♀️🌞🤞
Honestly, I have to admit that the structure and growth of the buds of this strain has me confused, still, I'm going to harvest it in a week, two last waterings during the week and then cut.
The plant has shown vigor and strength throughout the grow, with a columnar structure that has allowed me to be generous with the space for other plants in the same grow tent.
I can't wait to sprinkle those Kif flowers!
See you soon...

GREETINGS GROWERS!! 🙋♂️👨🌾🌞

deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋♂️👨🌾👍
Today is the harvest day of a genuine sativa strain from Morocco, the old Kif and the blonde hash I smoked, surrounded by the unmatched Moroccan hospitality, this grow has served me to recreate an imaginary trip through the mountainous roads of the Rif or the dusty ones of the south, Salam Aleikum 🕌... grow marijuana and enjoy!! 😍
This strain has lived for 19 weeks, maybe I could have harvested it a bit earlier, but I was a bit confused with the formation of the buds, in the end, I realized that these flowers grow in foxtail mode and grouped they form the bud, maintaining the great aeration of this type of tails 🤷♀️☀️🤞, but still, I think I'm going to smoke a great Kiff!!
Until the first smoke in about two weeks...

@sativaman, thanks, yes, the foundation of knowledge about working with microbiology comes from Korea and Japan; the main difference with my preparations is that mine are made through anaerobic fermentation, but I also have preparations with fruits, seeds, or animal proteins inspired by KNF, although my methods are different.
By understanding how anaerobic fermentation works as a method for dissolving nutrients or minerals, I've experimented with multiple formulas, adding or removing elements... some literally blew up on me. 😁💣
I also make other types of hydrolysates: Through alkaline hydrolysis, I make humic and fulvic acids soluble from leonardite. Through enzymatic hydrolysis, I convert animal or plant protein into amino acids, etc. I make ormus from seawater, which is an exceptional product, mainly for supplying Ca and Mg, all made at home with common materials.
@deFharo, anaerobic is intimidating to me. You have my respect for all the knowledge and experience you have. Because at this level you don't really have any reference with NPK, you can only guess, watch your plant and adjust.. Science and art here.
I am a former hydro guy, with ph and ppm meter, watering schedule. I have a lot to learn from true organic. But I became lazy, and as I've learned their is different style of organic gardening, I think I am finding my way with dry amendments (kelp meal, bone meal, alfalfa meal...). What I don't like is I still have to buy them, but I really enjoy to just pour plain water....
I will look carefully at how to make fulvic and humic acid.
@sativaman, I posted my hydrolysis method for humic acids, etc., a while ago: Humate PK. Potassium hydrolysate from leonardite with phosphorus.

I also use purchased dry amendments, but I also posted a method for sourcing this type of material at home: Utilizing household waste. Fruit and vegetable peels. Dehydration and storage.
I searched for the week when I posted this, but I deleted the grow diary; I will publish it again soon.
What Amazon photos! You're a great grower (and photographer!)
