Plants are far too high for the tent. I can't raise the light any further so the top of the plants are almost touching the light.
Have these foxtailed?
Buds seem to be very fat apart rather than clumping together.
Pistils look brown so I've decreased light schedule to 11/13
CO2.
Is it needed?
I've got a CO2 bag, that I can pierce holes in and hang in my grow tent.
This is my first ever grow. My aim is not, at this stage, to get the biggest buds. Simply to get ANY buds :)
Should I use the CO2 on this initial grow? Will it make a difference?
Yeah like others have said you need the proper PPM in your space with heavy hitting lights to benefit from the added CO2. Though honestly if you already have the CO2 bag hang it up for sure. It’s not hurting anyone and it’s better than nothing so why not hang it up?
But just know that unless you’re enclosed and running 1200 PPM of CO2 there really isn’t much benefit to it.
Honestly on first grow there’s a lot gonna be happening. I would focus on getting the fundamentals down before really starting to add an other factor like CO2 to the grow.
Anyway good luck with your grow 🤙
One of the plants was looking yellow. An experienced grower asked me what I was growing it in. "Coco". Not enough nutrients, he said. It needs feeding with every watering. So, I've started adding some Multi Zyme to every litre of water. After 1 day it's already picking up.
Man, you are using big bud coco wrong. It's only meant for the first 2 weeks of bloom. And it's clear your PH/lack of nutes is way off. I wouldn't put it down to C02, more of a lack of tools buddy. When growing in coco you gotta feed daily with every nute. So say I give 6 nutes to my plant, and I'm using coco, then you have to give them nutes everyday. And never use bud bloomers on veg, your asking for trouble, and 1 more thing. The way you have your pots In water, that's wrong, that will cause root rot and stunt your growth. If anything leave them in that tray, and put your pots on something and the roots will make their own way into the water. Hope this helps.
Hey man it's looking nice!
I would suggest to try achieving a lower cannopy trained towards building a cannopy that fits evenly in the footprint of the light; increasing yeilds.
It's looking really nice! Goodluck with your grow!
Looking back at my diary, week 9 is when I should have HST'd the plant and somehow stopped it growing so tall. It's now overstretched and touching the LED light.
