Right off the bat - Rookie mistake # 1 - Using the stuff inside the little seed tray - I should have thrown that out - PLEASE do not use the old poop in that thing. ADD fresh soil to the tray - for the love of your seeds!!! or did I ween out the ones that would have died anyways ? ((8 total seeds used from the package of 10)) 7 opened up - 4 grew tails - then started building a small indoor grow room. Four plants are going in... this is the most exciting thing happening in my world as surgery is soon again. Shit. Three little plants have popped up so far... and we are very early in the soil. This grow will be harvested from start to finish - and you get to come along for the ride!

Grow Questions

I am color blind. Cannot tell plant colors at all to be blunt. Had a weekend seminar returned to bone dry humidifier tank, 41% humidity and lightly thirsty plants. Could anyone offer up some assistance ? I just scissor clipped the tips off the ugly leaves. Many thanks in advance.

might need some pictures of plants under some regular lighting. i'll check back later or you can dm.. @nobodysbuds in message, whatever... got options. depends some on your soil.. if it is "hot" or not... the potentially more rapid evaporation could send concentrations higher in substrate relative to what is available to be taken in by roots. if you fed the first few weeks, hold off... either way i'd stick to normal irrigation now, and then slowly ramp up fertilization based on how hot the soil is.

Growing the yellow out... settling into their fabric pots. Things are looking okay. Got my WiFi working in the grow garage finally - now the Pulse is up and running. I had to add a evap cooler to keep my VPD in chiggity-check - maestro.

Decided to top all three. I can handle the outcome. The spindly one got topped also - to grow to it's best abilities. We will see. the PULSE gadget keeps me informed on what is going on - always great to know things are good in my tent from far away " First you need the planet, Earth beneath your feet. My three plants seem healthy enough for me. The 2 look similar and bushy... that one a touch thinner and taller. Marijuana plants are fun to grow... demanding but holy shit well worth the troutble. Tricky question - how much water are my plants using in a 24 hour period... honestly I am not sure But I did come up with it is good if they are. My big advantage growing is using this Black Dog LED PhytoMAX-2 600watt monster light. It really is the bee's knee's! Get one for yourself, they are on sale.

Adding the neccessary nutrients to get me some fat buds in the near future! I likes me some big fat buds. Don't you ? Just added some Open Sesame, Cha Ching and Beastie Bloomz powders. The Fox Farm dirty dozen kit has a lot to offer your grow.

These plants are growing at such accelerated pace... buds starting to fatten up nicely. Attention to detail now is critical to growing a high quality product. Time to take this more seriously. Harvest is approaching. I trimmed / pruned all three and will get some new photos up tomorrow. I just burned them with too strong of nutrients... and a flush will do them all good. Flushed / water'd with pH water... light use of Cal Mag.

Trying to keep my flowering temperatures correct... Actually, the testing and checking is part of the fun of this now. 24 hour light schedule is making the buds fat as planned. Weird late day record highs make things a challenge - in DEC! Shit! Just flushed at end of week 7 with 1TSP of Sledgehammer per plant. Added a few bamboo skewers to support that stubby one. I see the colors on the leaves are yellow and blotchy and dry.... Wind burn is probably one factor... nutrient burn... overwatering... Thank goodness these plants are resilient ~

Light feeding today.... starting to see some frost and trichome stalks... maybe playing with fire as record heat is on the way this week! Shit. Confidence is grown - right along side your plants.... every damn day. The challenge is to grow tasty bud that helps you relax.

Will be adding up close trichome shots very soon. Another day or two. Feeding adjusted water only - carefully flushing any of the nutrient taste out I hope. Harvest is within the week.

Pruning marijuana plants is the most fun you can have passing the Winter doldrums! It is very soon these 3 will come down and harvest will begin... Taking trichome photos is like looking at fireworks!

Only into hour one of cut down... much more information and photos will be coming today and into tomorrow. This plant is an Indicia - not sativa - I bought these Northern Lights x Big Bud Ryder seeds on purpose. This strain takes you to a magical place. Your mind and being slip into full body realization. Day three of drying at 70 degrees and 60 percent humidity. Surgery is in 12 days. Crap. Keep growing... 1-19 Surgery was pushed. COVID. I am almost ready to put this Northern Lights harvest into jars. I will include photos of the dry weights. Now I have more time to go fly fishing - which makes me so very happy. Enjoy! 1-24-22 The total weight right now 5.749 ounces. Update will be in 14 days with new photos. Thanks again for looking in! Feb 15th, 7am - Final weight is 3.104 ounces. Lost 1 entire plant in curing. No idea how. Odd. Great results and looking forward to the next grow immediately! Right after hernia removal surgery.
