Put the seed directly into the soil, no messing around here.
Been looking for Romulan seed for a longtime and can’t wait for her to grow.
Going to cross a branch or two with my Orange sundae funday ( also a heavy indica.. first attempt at producing my own seeds, should be interesting to see.
Keep growing and having fun.
She’s up…..
a little helmet head and bent over.
Helped it out a little, left the helmet on it’s not hurting anything at all.
Just going to let her grow and watch.
2x2 Mars hydro tent
Phlizon 1200 turn halfway on
Haven’t decided if I’m going to pollinate a few branch’s on this one or not but I’m pretty sure its going to happen. So hey you can watch me mess this up lol
It’s all about learning experience right!
Keep learning and growing!
Just watching it grow for now, nothing but water.
Hopefully it turns out to be what I’m looking for.
I’m out of town for a few weeks and have a friend looking after all my plants but this one is special.
Big things I have planned for this diary, keep watching to see.
Been out of town for awhile but my friend is doing an ok job taking care of thing while I’m away.
Looking just fine. Thank you!
She’s growing just fine and I’m a happy guy.
Just water thus far, hopefully I get home soon so I can give this girl a bigger home. Stay tuned things will happen with this grow
I was a rough week for this little girl, she got transplanted into a 3gal pail.. would have been better if I didn’t accidentally rip a chunk of roots off while doing it.. damn rookie mistake. 🐐
Quickly added some prop-o-Gator to the water, hopefully that helps my issues, after 4 day she’s looking good..
Probably stunted her growth a little but that’s fine I’ll keep going.
I’m a small time grower only have 3-4 plants at a time, learning as I go and have some good luck too.
Started out as a Covid lockdown hobby and just kept it going..
I’m trying something new to me on this grow and wanted a record of this one.
Earlier this year I found a male and this male was beautiful, grew fast and strong, really tight node points a definite stud. I didn’t want to cut him down, I grew him out and harvested the pollen.. (orange sundae funday) heavy indica.
Pollen in hand I want to create my own f1 beans. Romulan and orange sundae funday both indica dominate.. I couldn’t hold it in and had to tell all my evil plans!
It’s doing ok considering the root issue I had a few weeks ago, nice and green looking strong but definitely stunned the growing.
The male photos are the orange Sundae funday that I have collected the pollen from. He was a stud and couldn’t throw him out..
so my pollen is all collected and on ice till it’s time to release.. Do I have to buzz 🐝 like a bee when spread the seed!? And old grower I know said it helps.. crazy old man! Lol
Cheers fam, keep learning and have
fun doing it.
Keep in mind in no expert just a pothead messing around in my basement, any words of wisdom are much welcomed.
It appears to be coming along nicely.
Temperature is low because I am growing in my basement, it’s winter here in Canada and I’m finding it difficult keeping a steady.
Light is 24/7 that helping a little, getting around 19-22c and a 46% humidity, it’s not ideal at all but still seeing some progress.
Today she got the first bit of food, went lightly with future harvest grow and will monitor for the next few days.
I’m really not to worried about this one, not planning on topping or lsd at this point just want her to grow at her pace.
First time with Romulan learning from past experiences that some plants are just slow growing. She will hit a growth spert in time.
Most of this girl will go to seed so I’m not giving it a ton of attention at this point, as soon as I decide to transplant she will head to the flower room still needs time to stretch her wings.
Definitely a slow grow but I’ve always been Patient.
In the meantime I have lots to smoke and nothing but time on my hands.
Love you all and thank you for the support.
Keep growing and learning, it’s all about having a good time.
Hello.
This week she got some food, just a little to keep her going. Noticed a much healthier and happy plant.
I can’t complain about how’s she’s growing, definitely slow out the gates because of my mistakes. Nice tight node points, indica style growing.
Might do some defoliation but going to wait and see here another week.
Not too worried because the plan is still a go for the pollen I collected.. it’s getting and I’m pumped.
Keep growing and have a blast.
It’s been a minute, sorry about that.
Things have been good, super busy with the holidays and family stuff but I’m back.
I didn’t want to do too much to this plant but again I got high and had the clippers in hand, had a buddy over who was asking about trimming and topping.
I showed gave him a crash course of what I knew.
The end result was my Romulan getting a haircut from a rookie grower who did a wonderful job may I add.
So topped and all the under growth removed and looking quite pretty a week later. “Thanks pothead Rob”.
Still unsure of the sex of this plant, any way it goes I’ll grow it out.
At this moment in time I’m all about production beans of some of my favs and keep growing what I like for years to come. pretty sure I’m on the right path.
Love you all and keep them plants green and smoke thick.
Here we are getting ready to flower, got a good hair cut an lolly pop, looking strong and ready to flower.. going to have to move things around.
Gave some FH Bloom just a little to taste and start the idea of growing buds.
Still very cool in my basement 20c had a long deep freeze here in Alberta, always more difficult to grow in the winter.
Hope everyone is doing well these first few weeks of 2022.
Well she’s ready to bloom, have to wait for my flower room to be ready.
Been a crazy few weeks here. Covid hit my family hard, we are all healthy and safe but still wasn’t easy.
Did very little to the plants, just made sure everything was watered and happy.
This might take a while to free up room but apparently I have all the time in the world to get it done.. sorry about this crappy post everyone here is a little off this weekend..
Stay healthy and happy.. love you all!
Hey @ThaKass, that's awesome that you're going to try breeding with your Orange Sundae Funday pollen. I just bought some Afghani regular non feminized seeds to include with my next grow, hoping at least one will be a male. I also plan on collecting pollen and crossing with another indica dominant hybrid. Best of luck and I'll be checking back in. 😎
@Sour_D, Oh it’s time I try something new. Don’t know too much about breeding but I did read that most the traits come from the male, I’m hoping that’s the case anyways.. and excited to name my own mix.
Good luck with your adventures.
