Planning to switch to flower soon . Trying to avoid it getting too close to the light after the final stretch. She’s super healthy. Has a slight smell already .
Week 7 since flipping to Flower 🌺 . I was able to see the trichomes some through my camera abs they are mostly clear from what I can see. I have a microscope coming in the mail today so excited to get a better look at the trichomes soon . The smell is amazing and smells exactly how I remember when I first smoked MK Ultra .
Week 8 since flipping to flower 🌺 . Trichomes are clear abs milky . This is supposed to be harvest week but I don’t see any amber so I’ll be thuggin it out a little longer with her . Maybe another week or so . Smells lovely though .
Week 9 since flipping to flower 🌺 . No sign of amber trichomes yet and there’s still some clear but noticing some of the leaves are turning yellow . I did some research on some forums and decided to test out switching from 12/12 to a 10/14 light cycle which is supposed to help the trichome a mature . I’ve done it for 2 days so far . Will update.
She is a beauty😍☺️. The best tasting smoke I’ve grown to date . Smell is great and the smoke is smooth not harsh at all. Being able to smoke what I grew has me proud of myself lol
She was supposed to take about 8-9 weeks to harvest but I went 1 day short of 10 weeks of flower before harvesting. All the trichome were milky , no amber trichome that I kept looking for . Overall I’m very happy with her . I can’t wait to see her dry weight and I’ll be back with that and more pics 😊
Your plants look great. I have heard recently by breeders that you should not begin to count days of flower until your plants actually begin to show flowers, which can be two or three weeks after switching to 12/12 lighting. To me, this make total sense. I hope this helps for your next grow.
I'm in the same boat with one of my grows, 8 weeks into flowering and no amber trich's yet. Hopefully the extra time will allow our buds to fatten up even a bit more, nice job! 🙏😁
@Mz876, I just recently switched to 10/14 myself to hopefully decrease harvest time & stop some mild foxtailing. It has stopped the foxtailing but idk about the harvest time - the trichs seem to be developing at a consistent but slow rate still. Time will tell.
Really great to see how you yourself grew as a grower. That's a real good result and better yet you know what's in your own bud. Nice work. Will follow your others as they grow.
@northernMike, Thanks a lot shes super sticky and super dank 🤗 but still mostly clear trichomes . Literally just updated her diary . Thanks for stopping by. Happy Growing 🌱
