I used my usual germ method of soaking for 24h then straight into a root riot cube. When they had popped up from the cubes (took about 2 days) into my auto pots with AirDome at the bottom. I have two of kush autos going at the same time and they don’t have the air stones at the bottom so it will be good to see the difference tbh.

I am currently feeding once a week. I do have a photo or so of this week but tbh it kind of passed me by! Plants are relatively boring at this stage IN MY OPINION, anyway!

I am currently feeding weekly using the plant magic organic, purely because its way easier to grab one bottle rather than 3. I will be taking them as far as I can with weekly waterings of ecothrive biosys, molasses and the plant magic for the meat and potatoes. I usually add liquid seaweed too but I ran out and the garden centre prices were....unappealing to put it nicely. I also climbed into my grow for a while today to hook up the autopot system, I am going to wait another few days until the OG plants are big enough to be SIP fed. I will literally just be putting in water at the beginning as im not sure if the plant magic organic stuff will clog the drains and i have to do weekly waterings for the microbves and molasses anyway. if they start to look unhealthy like they need more meat and potatoes I will then start using some sort of mineral salts, either GHE or another companies product I have that is powdered so you do not have to ship the water. Probably that as its only two part rather than three. Everything is in hand for now at least....Iv just copme back from 3 nearly 4 days away as well so I just setup my drip system to give them 2 mins of water every 12 hours and it worked great, its just when the plants get big it doesn't work so well, hence why I bought the autopots.

How do people here monitor their grows? I have temp and humidity controllers that hookup to wifi so I can control them away from home but sometimes the reading is unexpected and I want to see so I just bought one of them wifi cameras that tilt and pan and have night vision :)

Hi there RabidReject, yeah man, congrats on the cool set up, i've got much the same but with commercial-grade controllers that have all these lasers and shit lmfao. Do they work? kinda. Basically what happens is the sensors can get foggy due to the humidity and the in soil sensors get a similar issue which can lead to weirrd readings. so you want to wipe them down as often as possible... That's just how it is, even with the 0 dollar controllers it's the same story. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I honestly don't monitor outside of a couple of cheap temp / RH gauges. With an organic soil and water only grow I don't have to fight as hard with things. I used to fight like hell with temp and RH and then I moved the tents to my basement. Temps stay pretty steady and don't fluctuate as much there. So, I started with cameras and fancy stuff, but simplified the grow to water only and timers for lights so that if I am unexpectedly gone for 48 hrs, I know the worst that is gonna happen is they might be a bit thirsty.

OK so I have chnaged up my nutrient shedule to use a product by hydrocrop called hydrosol A + B. Its super cheap and comes as a concentrated powder in pouches of 500g or 1kg and you dissolve it at a ratio of 100g/1L of water. You then feed according to their feed chart. It is incredibly cheap and incredibly effective - I have had it in the reserves for a long time now and am only just getting to grips with an EC pen - not that you need to to use these, I just am! It wont be religious though, it will be when I change my res every so often. I have now hooked up the AutoPot system completely so each plant is feeding itself at the rate it needs it. Its very clever and I really like it so far. so much so I now want to buy an expansion kit because I have enough space to fit another row of plants especially because....... I bought a new powerful light. I went for the mars hydro FC-e3000. It looks cool and I got a halloween deal, I literally looked a few hours later and it was at a price I would not be willing to pay for it lol. Anywho, im looking forward to that happening and im also thinking about doing my next run as a photo run... I havnt dealt with photos in a while and I feel I might have had a chance to build up a bit of a back log of bud by then so I can experiment to a degree. I say that as if I didnt change just about every piece of equipment for this current grow! haha So it’s been 1 working day and iv heard nothing from Mars hydro even though I ordered over the weekend. God. I’m already regretting using them. All I have is a PayPal receipt with Chinese writing and the product lol

Lots of photos this week. The ladies have been fimmed and recovered by now. Going strong, I have been a little distracted getting more on the go im not quite used to the extra work of the extra plants but im sure ill be glad of the extra harvest! I also got my new light together and up and running. I included a few pictures and also I have made a timelapse of me putting it together that needs editing. Will add it when I can. Been doing a lot of extra reading about macro photography and thinking of how I can improve my photos quite drastically when they start ripening up! Any photographers out there drop me a shout we can geek out together lol

So the plants got through their LST tie down and started coming back nicely so i decided to top the two growth tips to have 4 main tops on each plant. They are looking ok now. Sorry about the small amount of over exposed photographs, i didnt realise quite how bright they were until i went to upload them. oh well. The plants seem to be doing pretty nicely now to be honest and i am LOVING the autopots as they just make my life so much easier, i do think next time i would consider using dry ammendments within my coco and using water only to be quite honest. It would really make my life a lot easier and would definitely make things more efficient too. Oh also i am loving the fc-e3000 too, athough i did notice they are doing the fc3000 for around the same price i paid for mine, a little more but its a shame as i woukld have definitely liked that instea dof the fce. Its all good though, you never know i may be able to convince mars hydro to let me do a side by side comparison because to be honest now i have changed my shape of grow room the tsl 3000 is a little annoying and thin. I get worried i wont get a consistent spread but we will see. At the mo i have them linked and running at around 50% at 50-60cm maybe. I mean there is probably a little too much light in there, especially being autos. I dont know, i will see how they start to go when flowering. It may be just my perception but these plants do seem to have grown quicker than last round, given the extra light.

update - so far so good to be honest. Took a failing blackberry out and it seemed to have taken some bugs with it so yeh. seems ok tho now, we'll see. Definitely started flowering now, chucking pistols out. Good stuff Well another week another couple of pictures. They’ve started chucking out some pistols now which is good, I was actually hoping for them to have started doing so by now but hey doesn’t matter. Hopefully I’ll still get em down for Xmas. Should be ok. The blueberry are a little larger than the kush but both look great. On another note I just heard from zamnesia so I should be testing some of their photoperiod strains at some point. Looking forward to doing one run of photos again, been a while. I’m curious if I’ll be able to see a noticeable difference in potency. Not sure I will tbh. We will see I guess. Think I got some proper Afghan strain, some blue cheese strain and errrm I dunno something else maybe skittles or something. Again we will see lol Oh yeh and they gave me a code to give out to people: GROWITGD

Just been doing the same as in the OG Kush diary really. Apart from the fact there are no white marks from spilt nutrients on these as they are further away from the res. Weekly microbe and mollasses feeds, a little defoliation where I can reach (they are too big to be able to lift out now really. I just realised I forgot to add something in the OG kush diary. I keep dropping the air pump and lid from the res onto the first OG kush plant and have snapped a couple of the side branches off annoyingly. Also I went to do some LST on the first Blueberry plant yesterday and went a bit hard and split the stem. To be fair iv done this in every single ggrow for the past like 4 or 5 round but it usually happens in early veg when im doing all my mad training but I havnt really had to do that this run because I have more space and more poweful lights. I was kind of wondering what the next step is and I figured its either to start breeding (I would do photos if I was going to do that) or to really tune in this tent I could mess about with CO2 as I imagine now I have my lights up to par (no pun intended there) my yield limiting factor is probably CO2. I dunno we will see what I decided I guess!

OK, so im just working on an update now. To be honest the girls are looking a little under the weather at the mo! I have managed to figure out why though....im pretty sure anyway. So the line of nutes im using is obviously called hydrosol by hydrocrop and it comes in two big pounches full of crystaline minerals. I then have to dilue this at a ratio of 1:10. So I do a litre at a time by dissolving 100g of the salt nutrient powder into 1L of water. I then decant it into 1L plastic bottles I have left over from making my vape fluid. I did use my label maker to mark the Hydrosol A but I thought I knew which was which. Anyway, at some point 0- I think most likely at my last feeding, I was distracted and I am pretty sure I got them the wrong way round! I therefore added more N than I wanted and way less P and K. Luckily it was at a time where the ratio of A to B was faaaiiirrly evenish - thats a scientific term by the way,! ha. Anyway, it yellowed out the girls a bit but not to the point of no return by any means. I have one plant of both the OG and the Blueberry that are massive and one of each that are pretty regular sized. I will be pulling the smaller plants out today, in order to photograph the flowering girls and also to be able to sneak into the tent and lollipop everything. Maybe a little late but better late than never IN MY OPINION. OK, i'm going to go do that and take some photos so that I can compare the colour they are now with how they are in a weeks time. I really hope that was why they've started yellowing out - mean, iv been following the companies cannabis specific feed chart as well as checking my EC. Its always slightly lower than what the chart suggests it should be, however, I spent probably a tenner maximum on the TDS probe a looooooong time ago, had no idea how to use it so chucked it in a drawer. I got it out again at the beginning of this round, spoecifically because I had some nutrition issues last time I used this hydrosol as well but they hadn't made the cannabis specific feed chart at the time so I was kind of half following the tomato chart as well as assuming it worked the same way that the GHE line did. It doesn't work like that! Anyway, thats why I figured I would give it another go. Its SO much cheaper than buying and shipping a load of water around spo I do hope I can make it work. I would like to see if I can make it a whole round with the other plants using only dry amendments and so far has gone spot on, however, they are just started to throw out pistols and I have a feeling they are going to run out of nutrition mid flower - in fact, I am going to add some top dressings on them now so the bone meal and fish blood and bone will have time to solubilise and get broken down into a plant available form. If I do them now while I pull them out, I MAY have a chance at getting them through with water only. It would make refilling the res SO much easier for sure. We will see. I am also still intending to buy those SIP bucket inserts for the pots im using the drippers on atm - the plan would be to insert them into my large pots and set a dripper to go for however long it takes to fill the bottom reservoirs every time they start running out. I would insert them and get the plants going by manually watering and calculating the number of days between waterings. I would then but the dripper in a normal bucket , measure how much water the res at the bottom of the SIP takes, then run the dripper into the bucket and time how long it takes to fill up the same amount of water as the SIP container holds. I then set the timer on the dripper to run every, lets say 4 days and lets just say it takes 5 mins to pump the amount of water the buckets take. I did grab the idea from the dude grows shows but he does it slightly differently using a float valve and a garden tap timer. I dont know if it would be as efficient as the autopots - probably not- but i guess we will see! I just threw in one quick iphone shot of the two blueberry plants. You can see the smaller on and then the bigger one behind it. Will be back with better photos later... UPDATE Well i'm back and my oh my did they need some defoliation for sure. I hadn't cleared it out and been in to trim in ages so I got in there and lollipopped goog. Its really strange, they must be two different phenotypes of each plant because one is huge and one is small and unfortunately I snapped one of the main colas on the small one. It seems to be surviving its been like that for a week or two now so I dunno we will see. Sorry if quiter a few of the photos are over exposed, I didnt take all that muvch care to be honest as iu have a bad back at the moment. I definitely in the wrong game for a bad back! oh well, the results help!

Whoops, I think I forgot to update the blueberry diary but I’m not sure. They have both come a long way since then and fattened up hugely! I’m just waiting for the pistols to turn now really. I do remember planting them a few days after the OG plants so they will most likely mature over the Christmas weekend while I’m away. I plan to harvest the bigger OG plant before then. Tomorrow or the day after maybe, I dunno. It depends. I’m also aware I don’t want to miss my photographing opportunities as well so I’ll be taking some more photos over the next few days. I may have to buy photoshop in order to do the focus stacking I need to get a bigger totally in focus macro photo of the trich’s. It’s something I have been striving towards for ages but not something I have accomplished yet. They are getting better but still not at the quality I would like. Using a lens reversal ring helps that and some focus extension tubes. I can’t really justify spending hundreds and hundreds on a decent macro lens - yet! I should probably get the software I need first! Oh I probably should have said this ages ago but I’m not bothering to write how much water I am adding to the res because it obviously goes to multiple plants. I have no idea how much water each one is getting but I mix a 20L reservoir every three or four days. So I suppose that is 5 litres for every plant every 4 days, so what…1.25L/ day. Roughly. That also kind of matches up to what I have been having to water the plant I am ‘flushing’ as well so it makes sense. These blueberry plants are definitely maturing slower than the OG’s. They also look like they have a much bigger yield - mostly from one huge plant. Probably the biggest I have ever grown actually! I definitely think the lack of transplanting helped hugely but also I think the autopots and the lights make a huge difference. I mean…shit, it could have been a multitude of things why it grew so big. I’m definitely not complaining tho! I just want it to start maturing. Some of the buds pistols are staaaaarting to change but it’s slowly slowly. It reminds me of the gorilla glue, in terms of size but the blueberry is more smaller buds with a longer intermodal space between them than the glue. Should be a similar yield tho hopefully…not that I actually ended up rigging the glue, I don’t think. I would say it’s all down to the fact I have doubled the power of my lights but In reality I also nearly doubled my grow space so it’s probably only slightly brighter in there. The buds look like they have really made use of it though. The bigger OG looks almost as frosty as the strawberry banana plant was. Not quite but nearly. It’s funny thinking back to using the teenie Tinie LED lights I was using before. They are probably like 50w. So less than 10x less than what I’m using now lol. Cooooome oooon buds! Quiiiickly finish! Sorry I’m just wishing m my buds to hurry up and finish! PS: oh yeh. I forgot, I added some stakes in order to seperate out the colas and open the plants up a bit. Did that a few weeks ago with some bamboo stakes I snapped in half so I wouldn’t lose an eye. (I still almost did!)

Ok so just like with the OG plants, one of the blueberry’s is waaay bigger than the other. In fact, one of them is an absolute monster and the biggest plant I have ever grown. To the point where if it was any bigger it would have been pretty unmanageable. Even at this size, iv not been able to get round the back pretty much since it started flowering. It does have a tall slim fan behind it zip tied in the corner and I have spun it once or twice but it’s hard in the AutoPot trays because obviously they are connected to the res. It all looks fine, no bud rot or anything catastrophic so that’s good news. It is taking longer to mature - the buds just keep swelling and swelling but hardly any pistols have turned yet and that’s usually a signal to me to start trich checking. Probably get the chop after New Years. Either that or just before but my experience tells me it ent gonna be done by then. Strangely the opposite thing that happened with the OG Kush happened with the blueberry in that the smallest plant finished first. Although it has basically been yellow since like 2-3 weeks into flower, it has also finished. Must have been a quicker finishing pheno. I mean, it certainly was a diff pheno and not just a smaller one of the same because the leaf to calyx ratio is totally different as well as the internodal space. Same with the OG plants actually. One of them had way less leaves around the edges of the buds. It looked less evil with less of the sugar leaves for some reason. Anyway, I also chopped the small blueberry as it was done. It smells Devine, really sweet! Definitely blueberry-ish but the other one REALLY smells of blueberry’s. Not sure if I have actually ever had straight blueberry. I’m in the UK so I went through a long time of blue cheese years back when I was actually buying buds but even the gangs that control that don’t grow it anymore. Mainly hazes - around this area anyway. Iv ALWAAYS failed to understand why. Firstly I’m not a fan of hazes at all (it seems to have a weird boxy, cardboards taste to it, odd I know but it does to me) but that isn’t why I’m confused. If all the gangs or people who organise big grows (please excuse my ignorance on how big quantities of bud is produced in the Uk)care about profit, which they obviously do, why are they growing a sativa dom strain that takes way longer to finish up…it just doesn’t fit. I suppose they may be doing auto hazes? I don’t notice a difference in strength or how high they get me compared to mine. I dunno l, just a random thought but yeh. I do wonder about the biiiiig commercial growers in this country. Particularly when I had started growing but I wasn’t actually good enough to be able to produce enough to be self sufficient so was also buying. If anyone knows how it works at all, please do enlighten me! I certainly don’t think they would have upgraded to LED! Why bother?! I mean from their perspective - it’s not like they pay for the energy anyway most of the time. I’m pretty confident it is primarily Thai gangs that setup the grows here but again that could easily be misinformation spread by police and the bbc. Who knows?! Anyway… I’ll add some more pictures later as well as update the actual harvest tabs and wet weights and stuff. It’s just I woke up super early today so am just chilling waking up. Oh yeh, just before Xmas I was running out of bud so I raised my freezer where all my trim was stored. I ended up making some bubble hash (I had a box of wet trim where I wet trimmed the strawberry banana) and that’s why I made bubble hash with it but the dry trim I decided to make a tincture with. The reason I’m saying this is I used the double boiler method of decarbonisation and my oh my what a difference. Obviously I only have a regular cooking oven and mine is super cheap so the temp regulation is really bad. I ground this lot up using a ‘whizzer’ then banged it in a jar and put that (with a lid on) into a pot of boiling water on the hob. As soon as it started boiling I turned the heat down to a low, rolling boil. I left it on for 1h but was picking it up and shaking it every 15 mins. I then used polish spirytus 95% ethyl alcohol and made my tincture as normal (I used the fast buds method, using their video). It is basically just making a diluted RSO. This is the same method I am going to use in order to process my CBG plant into medicine, although I will most likely evaporate it more than I did so I can simply use the pipette that comes with the 50ml dropper bottle instead of having to shake it up and pour it in. I also realise I didn’t evaporate off all the alcohol because when I added it to orange it tasted ever so slightly of alcohol and it also wasn’t thick and viscous like RSO. Oh I did add a small amount of water to one round of the wash process just to mean there was more liquid to be able to seperate it from the plant matter. Anyway, the point is it worked really well and I could def tell from the effects that a lot more of the terps were left in the tincture. It tastes worse than the strawberry nana tincture I made but I figure that’s because I used trim rather than buds so there would also be more lipids an just general leftovers in the mix. Next time I’ll be using a metal strainer first , like last time, but then I would use coffee filters. It was pretty gross having little bits floating in the drink I banged it in. UPDATE - it’s all looking good. This plant is an absolute whopper! Definitely on par, if not bigger than my biggest plant to date - the gorilla glue. I’m surprised as well. Obviously the blueberry is more ‘indica’. Or I should say more short, stocky with wide leaves because I’m not convinced the whole sativa/indica argument actually stands up today in the mutt gene pool that’s been created due to prohibition. Not that I’m complaining! I just don’t like throwing around terms that don’t really mean anything. Some ‘sativas’ I find to be more sedating than other ‘indica’ dom varieties. I dunno 🤷‍♂️. It still amazes me how each pheno will affect every person differently…just one more incredible aspect of this amazing plant I guess! Oh, also, the photos REALLY do not do this plant justice. When I harvest them, hopefully it will be at the same time and I can get a shot of the bigger one next to the small One.

The last week was ok I guess. I stupidly stuck r the drip feeder in a res with some super concentrated nutes so it kind of got a little leaf burn, right at the end as well which is annoying. Not a problem really it just makes the trim not as nice to work with. I wasn’t here to be honest so I couldn’t really monitor them for the last week or so coz yeh I wasn’t here. When I came back I was stoked at the weight the tops had put on to be honest. Although it had slight leaf tip burn it was fine. Trichs are looking nice and cloudy so yeh time to chop. As you can seee I kind of accidentally added all the harvest photos in a flowering section….I will finish it now. Annoyingly it means I have to weigh…

Happy Harvest Day!

Ok so I did have some bug problems. I think it was either root aphids or fungus gnats. Don’t know exactly what but they were a free gift when I desperately bought some soil to add to the coco from a local DIY shop…cheers mate! So obviously I’m not reusing my mediA, it all got bagged up straight away and sealed then put in the big bin for my block of flats. Obviously with no evidence it came from me. Seperate bin bag for all of that stuff. I can’t really speak of the disease resistance because I basically infested EVERYTHING with annoying drunk looking flying little bastards! They didn’t really stand a chance… HOWEVER, having said that, this last blueberry plant I grew is definitely the biggest plant I have ever grown. It’s meant to be very indica and it’s actually grown waaay bigger than a lot of the 50:50 hybrids and even the sativa dom strains. It was a beast. I obviously had two different pheno’s of each plant I grew. The structure, intermodal distance and even terpene profiles were pretty different considering it was the same strain. I am actually very glad about it because I LOVE to vape some strange. I don’t really know why I did two of the each strain tbh. It’s probably coz I was able to double my space so I have more coming. I think the combination of double light, double space, AutoPot system (then the plant can eat and drink on their terms) and the fact I planted straight into the final pot. I underestimated how much shock autos get from transplanting. It obviously can be done but it’s pointless and I always ended up with way smaller plants. Again this could be to do with the light increase tho. It smells Devine, of course but the small blueberry plant smells and smokes WAAAY different. The bigger one that seems to have reached it’s full genetic potential is way sweeter and deserty. The first, smaller one is much more skunky and musky. This is all pre cure though. It smells a lot different to how it smokes atm. I was using gloves to harvest and then used my phone with them on, not thinking and now I have gloopy oil all over my iPhone lol. Kind of defeated the point of using gloves but oh well. I will keep adding info into this section as I continue to weigh and generally think about how the grow went and what might help others. I would definitely say to others, if they are growing using less than reccomended light specs, do all you can to update your lights and get up to the recommended minimum PAR. it really did change everything. I noticed this time with adequate light, they turned out way more ‘leggy’ with big buds from like halfway up the stems. I do think that lollipopping is quite importing when you get in early flower and the stretch stage but it’s next to impossible to even get into the room when it’s filled up. I’m not awaiting my two Afghan kush plants and my one small smoothie plant to finish and then I can clean everything out, bleach everything and get going again this time with coco only. I will not Improvise last minute with outdoor gardeners shit this time. It has surprised me how efficient the AutoPot system is. The plants in there grew SO MUCH BIGGER than the plant in pots that are double the size. They must just love the fact they can drink whenever they want rather than me forcing it upon them. UPDATE: Minutes later I have actually weighed the wet plants. Obviously I harvested the plants at diff times so I simply weighed each stem as I removed the fan leaves and wrote down the weight. It is an all time high for me (sorry about the punn) so I am super happy at the weight of the blueberry plants. I will admit that like 75% of the weight , if not more, was made by the huge second plant that is hanging now. Update - it’s all dry and curing now. Beautiful buds. Amazing rosin. What more can I say?! The dry weight box dissapesred again when I came back to fill it in. Anyway… Dry bud was 177g. Iv also used about 1.5oz I would say coz I made tincture and pressed a few grams of rosin. I also had a big box of b grade buds which I primarily used for squishing and tincture so when I actually came to weigh it it had shrunk dramatically lol. It now weighs about an ounce. I do also have 49g of trim and popcorn buds to use. Probably buy some dry ice soon and make keif then press said kief in my press. That’s the plan… Really happy with what I got and iv still more to come so it is all good

Overall, this grow has been great. A FANTASTIC learning curve as well. I think this is the first diary I have been well enough to actually bother thinking about the things that were going wrong. For example, before , either when I was heavily abusing benzodiazepines, as well as the months where I was super Ill from detoxing from benzo’s, I simply wouldn’t have bothered to try and fix the heavy nutrition deficiency the ladies had when they started flowering. I would have just left it and hoped for the best. This time where I wasn’t ill 😕, I was able to go and figure out what was wrong, how to fix it and how to not have it happen next time. It’s all incredibly interesting and I’m learning loads again. I also would like to thank all the folks in the group chat we are in. I learn a lot from the chat with you guys and love that it’s a worldwide network of passionate growers. I fit right in, for, I think, the first time in my life! As I said, when I think of things to add I will. This stuff makes for some FANTASTIC concentrate! I been making rosin, as you can see, and this one particularly stands out. It’s so sweet smelling but very musky tasting, it’s odd actually. I don’t find the smell comes through In the taste - but it’s actually a good thing because it’s almost like a two for one! Superb yielder and great tasting. Also very strong in effect so it’s a really good strain IMO

Ok so I popped on the Mars hydro FC-E 3000. I went for it regardless of the fact their customer service is shocking, to the point they don’t even answer my questions, let alone any hopes of getting sponsored! I will be making a review video regardless and will definitely be including the fact their customer service is shit. The thing is I couldn’t find any light putting out even close to the ppf/m2/s for a similar price point. Also iv been using a couple of their ts series lamps for a while now so I know they are pretty durable now they sent using blurple and fans and shit. They are a thousand times better than they used to be in the old blurple times but I wish they would reply to questions. All I wanted to know was if the tsl-2000 and the fc-e 3000 would daisy chain together even though they are different models…oh well, we will see won’t we! I will post the review bud here for sure. I’m starting to make a video of this grow anyway so improve my video making skills so it will get included in that anyway for obvious reasons

@CRiSPrGrow,yeh VPD charts are always useful. I’m in a moderately hard water area also. Glad to hear it’s buffered also. I am finding it a lot easier to actually change the ph and keep it at a certain level now I’m using more than 10l in the res. Way easier with the more water you have! I guess I’ll start mixing 40l at a time instead of 10 or twenty now I’m at the end and the ratio of A to B won’t change that much at the end of flower. EDIT- just clocked I replied to the wrong guy haha I thought it was odd my nutrient guy talking about VPD!

@Rabidreject, meh, plugs are plugs just get an adapter or fiddle with the wiring it's not a problem, btw i added you to my group chat, hope you enjoy it 🚀

@CRiSPrGrow, oh mate iv been spying the pulse products for years now. simply cant justify it just to add a single point VPD monitor tho! especially as im not sealed or using CO2. They look ace tho! i would REALLY love a Niwa controller too but they only have them with US plugs. so annoying!

Glad you got it sorted. Hydrocrop's nutrients are buffered to prevent pH swings, so you should find they remain pretty stable once the correct pH value is set. I'm in a moderately hard water area and I find the feed stays within range.

@Faroutman,yeah that’s useful to know. I do find it’s def easier to stabilise ph now I’m using a decent sized res

I’m surprised your plants are yellowing using the Hydrocrop nutrients. I have used them for 3 years, growing tomatoes semi commercially, and always found them to be excellent. Your diary says your pH is 6.5 …That could be where your problem is (assuming your growing environment is okay). To avoid deficiencies using mineral nutrients in hydro / inert media, the feed pH needs to be kept between 5.5 and 6.4.

@Faroutman,yeh I believe that is what It was to be honest. As I say iv just been relying on microbes to buffer but I think I was asking way too much of them! It is getting back to normal now. I’m pretty certain I just mixed up the A and B bottles and it threw them out slightly. That in addition to a high PH value. Iv started ph’ing my water now. Ta!

Hey I must admit I came gone after a few days away and the plants are looking a little scraggy. Iv started LST’ing them and tidying up their sexy long legs. I also gave them some microbes and molasses, it tends to fix them up. I’m just a little worried about the scraggy new growth. I guess I’ll have to just monitor them….I am a little concerned though I must admit. Will post some photos later, hopefully someone can help!

I need people's help! I am thinking of buying a mars hydro FC-E 3000. I dont particularly like to keep supporting them as they dont even respond to my emails asking questions....but to be honest I am on a budget and it seems to be the only light of its type for that type of money. The other one I was looking at was a lumatek LED. Im pretty sure its the lowest power light they do and its 200w but has like half the amount of PPF/s. I do trust their data a lot more than the Mars Hydro data, they have proven to fudge their data to improve stats lots bu8t then they do also produce light a lot cheaoer than competitors and tbh the bud that I got from the TSL-2000 is the nicest iv grown so far. hmmmmm I dont know what to do. I was going to just get another tsl-2000 nd put it alongside but for the same price pretty much I can get a better light from them....
