Ended up harvesting after 10 full weeks instead of the recommended 12 as the buds didn't recover from the dehydration damage. Total 4g dried trimmed buds + 1.5g very frosty trim. Quite alright for a first grow with almost zero equipment :)

RQS say it tends to 'grow one big main bud with just a few small branches,' so would it still make sense to do LST here?

hi there Bigfloppa, it's always a good idea to do LST. Why? because LST promotes "lateral growth" . Nothing increases yield more than more lateral growth, so especially if there is a strong "apex dominance", then more lateral growth means more yield. Start LST early and follow it through until flower for the best results. Hope this helps ! π
