Root structure
It could be said that the root, or root system, has a pyramidal structure. The main tap root grows vertically down into the soil, and its secondary offshoots spread themselves throughout the substrate. In turn, these secondary roots develop small offshoots, called capillaries or simply root hairs, which are responsible for the collection and transportation of water and nutrients for the entire plant.
I alway pre drench my medium in greenhouse feeding ENHANCE before I plant my seeds.
100% success with germination since I started with this feeding routine.
And I do hope this helps anyone who struggles to get their seeds above ground.
Since topping she has really slowed down a lot, but her colouring is getting better and new growth is pushing through.
I've potted her in a re purposed bucket that I've skewered loads of holes into the bottom for drainage and popped out the handle so I can use the holes for anchor points when I start training her.
I'm very happy with the new growth here, she seems to have settled down a little after topping her.
I've noticed that she can be very sensitive to any kind of change. And she loves her food!
This strain is really interesting to grow, I'm very keen on her ❤️🔥🔥🇬🇧
Really impressed with the steady new growth in seeing this week.
Hopefully by next week I should be able to start training her and putting the first pegs down for the main line.
I really like her tri formation leaves.
This strain is not boring,
Each pheno has its own BIG personality!
If you want to be kept on your toes then this will be the perfect strain for you my friends 😁❤️🔥
I'm having a lot of fun with the DarkPhoenix this time around.
She loves SOG and I wish I could do a whole tent full of her!!
She's a dream & her bud sites are popping this week and she's looking so beautiful already & we haven't even got to the best bits yet!!
I've started her on a little booster this week so we should see some exciting things in the next few weeks.
Stay tuned for the good bit!!
I have accidentally snapped her main line. I've tied a cable tie around it in an attempt to rescue her.
She seems in harmed at the moment, but she might not make it.
I've taken two clones from this plant so in the event that I loose her I have back ups, this particular cultivar has shown strengths in all the areas I would want.
It was my fault pushing her too hard.
Slap on the wrist for me. My bad.
Dark Phoenix pushing out buds wherever she can, her shape is beautiful .
I accidentally super cropped her by snapping her main stem nearly in half but i have rescued her with a trusty zip tie and everything seems kushty.
No complaints here just loving watching the buds bloom
I feel like the snap in the stem has stunted her bud growth. They seem really small and tightly compact but maturing instead of getting bigger she seems to have switched herself to maturing the buds she has and finishing herself off. I had high hopes for this one until the dreaded split. But I have taken two clones from this plant that are doing fantastic in the veg tent. So all is not lost!
This Dark Phoenix is a lot different to the others I have grown.
I'm not sure what variable could have caused it, maybe the split in the main stem has had an adverse effect on the bud growth.
They are all very small, tight buds and the resin production hasn't been too great. I will push her through another week and make the decision to harvest or not.
She smells nice & strong so far, hopefully she picks up after a light dose of dragon force from shogun fertilisers
This lovely lady has been cropped today.
I have taken each branch and hung them upside down in my boiler cupboard to dry out for at least 5 days,
Then I will trim her up neatly ready to be cured.
