Canadian_Bud Finally started the winter grow- Seed floated in a glass of water for 24hrs on the 3rd of November then 2 days in paper towel until the root developed not into the rockwool. She now sits in a humidity tent. I sprinkled a little coco on the top. Boosting the humidity levels in the room and using a low light LED. Once she has a few leaves I will transfer her to a new home.
Enjoy the grow!😎
Bakerstreet is a variety of Hindu Kush grown by Canadian LP Tweed. It is a pure indica with origins in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The subtle sweet and earthy sandalwood aroma of Bakerstreet induces a deep sense of calm that helps bring relief to those suffering pain, nausea, and stress disorders. Its heavy body effects make it a top strain to help you relax and unwind at the end of a long day.

We are now into veg mode but still under LED low 85 watt bulb. put her into a small caged pot for now but will transfer her next week or the week after depending on growth into a larger pot in the Aeroponic setup where she will grow and flower.
She looks really good at this stage of the grow and i can't wait ti'll harvest time.
I made modifications to the overall setup this time around with a new improved water drainage system including new 1" bulkheads and a larger reservoir.
The pots are going to contain just the plant in it's rock-wool form as seen now placed into a larger 6" basket pot with No small clay balls. Found out the hard way last grow when these smaller balls managed to get into the inside area and blocked it's return line, filling up the container to near full and emptying out the reservoir.😎

Canadian_Bud Finally got the setup completed but still have a couple of minor leaks up top. She went into her new home without a hitch. Seems to be doing well and growing quickly. roots are already 12" in length and look like large centipedes. Under the bright lights it's a who;e new game. A few weeks and flip to flower unless I want monsters again lol. 😎

Starting the 4th week off with a clip a few days ago. She already sprouted her wings and she looks marvelous. She is a very spiky plant but I've heard good things about this strain other than being Canadian most supply chains carry this. So far she is busting upwards.😎

She is looking so good so far. She has a large root mass. Trimmed off some of the lower leaves for now. She will be moving to flower Next week.😎
I increased oxygen levels in the reservoir and changed up solution all 80 liters which takes about a week to produce I flushed roots with 4 gallons of PH'D RO with 2 rinses to remove any salts so is to the why droop leafs + the light just went off so they are taking a nap which is the best time to do the procedure👊

Into flower now starting week 6. Turning her slightly everyday forming a nice rope root to a large nest below. 8 more weeks or so and harvest time. The reservoir at this point empties 17 gallons in around a week. I just let the pump run at 2 minutes on 4 minutes off timer. I add 2 gallons cold water the night before a Nutrition change then dumping the last wee bit out which contains various salts .
I will swap over to Flower nutrition on the next run in 7 days.😎

Into a new month and calendar year, I love how this girl is spreading out. She may be not as dense a leaf structure as most others so i am curious to see what king of bud she produces. Showing very little tip burn or curl and seems to be feeding well. Brought down the PH as per the manufactures recommendation and we will see how she responds. 😎

She is a little thin with small buds but I see improvements in the forecast.
Big changes in nutrition for this hive. Eliminated GET nutrition after consulting with Johnny Genetics (legal Commercial Grower) and his knowledge of this local Home Made formula Just Grow and Just Bloom.
Apparently my plants could be doing a whole lot better with huge bud. The GET is a very low quality formula mixed in a back room.
So i have switched as per advice and am now using Botanicare formulas. I have notice a small difference already with stiffer leaves but will have a better idea after a few weeks of the new formulas.😎

Canadian_Bud The little buds are coming along slowly and are much smaller than all the rest. lol Still not sure what to think of this one. Hopefully her Kid clone doesn't carry the same tone or I'll tie a firecracker to her and blast her to smithers lol. I Increased Flower Nutrition a wee bit as i get used to the new regime.😎

Into week 7 of flower and not much going on other than knocking off the Vitamino Nutrition. This wiry one is building some cotton balls for bud with just a few weeks left until harvest. Her buds sure look small though. Cant't wait to burn some bud. if they don't go poof 😎

Started winding her down now that she is a few days away from harvest. Just adding RO to the reservoir and keeping the PH in check. 💪😎
This stringy plant matter produced Bubble Hash. Possibly not the right genetic or a dud bud. Or a poor grow Nutrient makeup wise given it's finicky nature😨.

Canadian_Bud Over all this plant grew like a weed on the side of the highway. Either it didn't get enough flower time or it was just overall fucked up right from seed. It produce a few solid small nug's and a large ponytail of hairy mass with really no substance. That's the way the bud rolls when you live to burn.
Just checked in, sorry for being late !
I am sure tweed have great genetics. Only problem with them is the lack of Love growing it, trimming it, drying and packing it.
Good luck with your phenotype!
@sativaman, Thanks Bud, The genetics from this particular strain is junk from seed. A few seeds between friends all produced the same results under different grow scenario's.😎
@Canadian_Bud, I've just red your weekly report (week 13) you seems happy about the results. On the other hand here you talk about junk from seed.. Not sure what you mean... This is what I see at your week 8: underdeveloped, far from harvest, and bad genetic Sad to see it's not any good. Tweed is supposed to have a top of the line R⁺D centre in Smith Falls Ont. They are spending top dollars to develop genetics from DNA analyses. They tried to play god and pretended they know better than others, who selects plants for breeding, based on true results and real data. Shame on Tweed, AKA Canopy Growth, for being not only one of the worst LP, from personal experiences, being greedy, cheating on THC test results. and recently, acknowledging about the controversy over mouldy plants in their greenhouses, but for selling bad genetics.
into week 8 and close to harvest ! ???
You are not even half way there. Have you posted the wrong pics??
This is what I see: you have a very Sativa dominant pheno (leaves fingrers, plant structure...) on a starin that is supposed to be pure indica. Also seeing some N toxicity with leaves clawing on pic 2 and dark green foliage on pic 1.
Reduce daylight length to 10.5-13.5. reduce feedings as sativas are low feeders, and dim or raise your light.
@sativaman, Thanks for the point outs. Most helpful No dim or raise possible. these curled ones are 8 -12 inches from the light but i have flushed several times and cooling the reservoir down to 19c I have also changed the interval time to 1 min on 5 min off on feeding as the others on this hive are a week or two away from harvest now. And i am surely disappointed in the tweed seed as my buddy is also. Very rare that any seed coming from it's mother is an exact closeness to her, could take 1000's of seeds and grows to find that one but at least when you buy them you hope the genetics are what they say they are .😎
