Finally started the winter grow- Seed floated in a glass of water for 24hrs on the 3rd of November then 2 days in paper towel until the root developed not into the rockwool. She now sits in a humidity tent. I sprinkled a little coco on the top. Boosting the humidity levels in the room and using a low light LED. Once she has a few leaves I will transfer her to a new home.
Enjoy the grow!๐
Bakerstreet is a variety of Hindu Kush grown by Canadian LP Tweed. It is a pure indica with origins in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The subtle sweet and earthy sandalwood aroma of Bakerstreet induces a deep sense of calm that helps bring relief to those suffering pain, nausea, and stress disorders. Its heavy body effects make it a top strain to help you relax and unwind at the end of a long day.
Just checked in, sorry for being late !
I am sure tweed have great genetics. Only problem with them is the lack of Love growing it, trimming it, drying and packing it.
Good luck with your phenotype!
@Canadian_Bud, I've just red your weekly report (week 13) you seems happy about the results. On the other hand here you talk about junk from seed.. Not sure what you mean... This is what I see at your week 8: underdeveloped, far from harvest, and bad genetic Sad to see it's not any good. Tweed is supposed to have a top of the line RโบD centre in Smith Falls Ont. They are spending top dollars to develop genetics from DNA analyses. They tried to play god and pretended they know better than others, who selects plants for breeding, based on true results and real data. Shame on Tweed, AKA Canopy Growth, for being not only one of the worst LP, from personal experiences, being greedy, cheating on THC test results. and recently, acknowledging about the controversy over mouldy plants in their greenhouses, but for selling bad genetics.
@sativaman, Thanks Bud, The genetics from this particular strain is junk from seed. A few seeds between friends all produced the same results under different grow scenario's.๐
into week 8 and close to harvest ! ???
You are not even half way there. Have you posted the wrong pics??
This is what I see: you have a very Sativa dominant pheno (leaves fingrers, plant structure...) on a starin that is supposed to be pure indica. Also seeing some N toxicity with leaves clawing on pic 2 and dark green foliage on pic 1.
Reduce daylight length to 10.5-13.5. reduce feedings as sativas are low feeders, and dim or raise your light.
@sativaman, Thanks for the point outs. Most helpful No dim or raise possible. these curled ones are 8 -12 inches from the light but i have flushed several times and cooling the reservoir down to 19c I have also changed the interval time to 1 min on 5 min off on feeding as the others on this hive are a week or two away from harvest now. And i am surely disappointed in the tweed seed as my buddy is also. Very rare that any seed coming from it's mother is an exact closeness to her, could take 1000's of seeds and grows to find that one but at least when you buy them you hope the genetics are what they say they are .๐
