Forgot to get some pics of the seeds in the paper towel so here’s we are at with the grow ps. Was waiting on fabric pots that’s why she’s in a make shift pot lol will be transplanted when she’s ready to fabric pot
Week 1 for the reg gelato I’m hopping it’s female but if not I’ll use the male for breeding give a shot at my own strain lol
(Update) everything going beautifully with gelato I was going to transplant but she seems happy don’t want to disturb
Gelato coming along great was actually sowed after the cookies and catching up if not passing them already overall all is well watering when dry with phd water at 6.0-6.2
Gelato got a transplant this week roots was about to line the jug so I hope she dose well with the new pot add some dynomyco with transplant to help the root develop in their new home and watered ph 6.0
(Update) she adjusted well to the transplant was a little droopy rite afterwards but after about 18 hours in new pot and new lights adjusted she seems happy and healthy

Gelato loving her new home transplant hasn’t slowed her down one bit fed some worm castings and dr earth 444 with a little molasses along with some Calimagic this week and she’s loving it decided not to train light penetration is pretty good let her just grow out.

Gelato as you can see is doing great started after weeding cakes but grew pass them this week they all got first top dress 1/2 tsp of TTG 1 tsp of TTB with phd water at 6.2 getting ready for the switch also switched dry admendments from Dr. Earth to Roots Organic that’s all for this week stay tuned if you like leave a 👍

After first week of flower gelato turned out to be male so now this just turned into a breeding project b/c I don’t want to just get rid of the gelato so decided to stick it in the closet with one of the wedding cakes and let nature take its course stay tuned and as always Let’s go Let’s go Let’s Grow
Gelato looking good growing a lot of pollen sacs hope pollination goes well with weeding cake receiving the same fed as the rest coming along great as always Let’s go Let’s go Let’s Grow.
Update- 1/5/21 pollen sacs are opening I snapped off the leaves that had pollen an with a brush lightly dusted a couple budsites on the wedding cake plant then kind of put them extremely close like pollen sacs touching wedding cake main stem my first attempt at something like this fingers crossed pollination is successful stay tuned
Well I’m about to chop the male gelato after collecting some pollen hopefully pollination was successful if so look forward to some gelato cake (weeding cake x gelato reg )

She was extremely thirsty gave her a good watering and just realized the fan was turning of at night so fixed that other tan that everything looks good and she definitely got pollinated as you can see hope she puts out a lot of stable seeds will be running a diary of those as well stay tuned
Can’t wait to see what GEALTO(CKS)xWEDDING CAKE(GIFT) puts out looks amazing took a couple pics outside the closet she’s frosty just like her sister in flower tent pretty excited about this experiment wasn’t planned but Reg GELATO turned out to be male so here we are can’t complain at all got some more to go but if/when she puts off these seeds I got some great things in mind stay tuned Let’s go Let’s Grow
I’m not to sure if it’s the weight of the bud with seeds developing but for some reason the lower branches are hanging any clue why guys ?? Overall she seems healthy
Airflow not only provides CO2 and takes away humidity and oxygen but it also strengthens the plant mechanically. It is like being out in the wind. If the plant is buffeted from a young age it develops a strong stem and branches to withstand the wind. Later in life those stronger branches can better support the weight of flowers. Also, way down near the bottom the branches can stretch more trying to reach the light, causing them to be longer and less strong.
This is one of the seeds from the cross I plan on running dwc that’s why I only planted one still waiting on the pots but stay tuned plan on just perfecting this strain and working on this as always let’s go let’s go let’s grow
Update: dwc supplies came in waiting on the hydro guard, rapid rooters, and clay pebbles then I will be soaking 3 more of the Gelato x weeding cake seeds stay tuned
