DETOX New diary for @Sweet_Seeds with their amazing strain Red Pure Auto CBD https://growdiaries.com/seedbank/sweet-seeds/red-pure-auto-cbd
In previous grows, I've always grown it at 18/6, and I've flowered it at 18/6 and 12/12, getting better results flowering at 12/12.
So, let's go with this delicious strain, which, even though I still have flowers from last year, should never be missing from my happiness showcase.
Well, I'm germinating 16 to keep the most vigorous ones. I soak them in water for 2 hours and then transfer them to damp cellulose.
When they open, we'll move to RootRiot plugs, then to a propagator and wait for the cotyledons to come out.
EDIT: They have all germinated.
That's it, welcome and happy smokes.

DETOX Week 2, they start their day 8.
All the plants show deformities in the leaves, which gets better as they grow. I don't know why this happens.
I water with 50ml every 3 days with rooting solution.
That's all, happy smokes.
Until next time.

DETOX Week 3, they start their day 15.
This time I'm not happy with the growth, they're very uneven, although it's true that later they all stabilize more or less equally.
Now is when they make the big stretch.
Watering with 100ml every 4 days.
That's all, happy smokes.
Until next time.

DETOX We're entering week 4, starting day 22.
These girls have just entered flowering, so based on my experience with this genetic variety, they flower better at 12/12,
so we're going through a longer night period and therefore, given the current dates, it's colder.
The temperatures range between a maximum of 20ºC and a minimum of 14ºC, so I expect some slowdown.
This time I haven't noticed a pronounced stretch; instead, they've been growing slowly.
Watering is sparse, 100ml every 3 days, they don't need more.
Right now I'm managing an EC of 1.7, which I will push to the limit later to see what EC load they can handle before burning leaves.
That's all, happy smoking.
EDIT: Nitrogen deficiency, I was giving 1.5ml when I should have given 3. It's corrected now.

DETOX We're entering week 5, they're starting their day 30.
There are 4 plants that are quite a bit shorter than the others, so I've placed them in the center to see if they can catch up to the others.
Remember that I'm flowering at 12/12.
The temperatures are the same, with a maximum of 20ºC and a minimum of 14ºC, and as I mentioned before, they've slowed down.
I've increased the watering to 200ml every 3 days.
The EC this time has been 2.1, so I can see that they can't handle that much EC; the leaves show signs of over-fertilization, although they haven't burned.
That's all, happy smokes.

DETOX We're entering week 6, they're starting day 37.
This time the growth has been very uneven, the smallest ones are 30cm, others 45, and the tallest 60cm.
I did a light low pruning and removed all the corn buds, and immediately they shot up a lot, who knows why...
The temperatures are the same, between 20ºC max and 14ºC min.
Now I'm giving them 300ml every 3 days, which is the maximum I usually give to autos in 5l pots.
The EC this time has been 1.9 and they recovered well from the last one.
That's all, happy smokes.

DETOX We're entering week 7, starting their day 44.
Well, these girls have unleashed their full potential and have shown all their wonderful colors, only one has kept the green.
They’ve stretched a bit more this week, the smaller ones are 40cm, others 60, and the tallest are 75cm.
The temperatures are the same, with a maximum of 20ºC and a minimum of 14ºC, and this week with the rain, the maximums will increase a couple of degrees, which will be great for them.
I’m still following the routine of 300ml every 3 or 4 days.
The EC this time has been the same as the last, 1.9, and at this EC level, they’re doing great.
I’m leaving you a bunch of photos.
Have a very Merry Christmas, and grow for self-consumption.
Cheers, and see you next time.

DETOX We're entering week 8, they are starting day 50.
This week the girls have resinated a lot, some more than others but everything is looking great.
The smell is a spectacle, they smell amazing, it's a pleasure to open the indoor.
I never do a root wash, but yesterday I got motivated and gave each one a lot of liters of water, so we'll continue with just water until the end.
The temperatures have fluctuated throughout the grow between 20ºC and 14ºC, a bit low but fine.
Now the plants will have to finish fattening up by taking nutrients from themselves, so we'll see how the wash affects them.
In a few days, when they've drunk half of the wash water, I'll do a good defoliation so that the buds get enough air and finish fattening up.
That's all for now, enjoy the photos.
Cheers and see you next time.

DETOX We're entering week 9, starting day 58.
This week I've stripped them of most of their fan leaves, they've fattened up a lot using the remaining salts that might have been left in the flush.
They're also taking from their own leaves to consume themselves, I love seeing that.
I don't know if I should push them to the limit like I've seen other growers do, giving them 2 or 3 more weeks without achieving much, or cut in 2 or 3 days, I'll see.
The smell is amazing, it's like opening the indoor and getting slapped in the face.
The temperatures are the same, 20ºC and 14ºC, they've practically been maintained throughout the grow.
***NOTE***: I've grown this strain in both possible ways, 18 continuous hours, and 18/6 growth with 12 in flowering, and the winning result is 18/6 in growth and 12/12 in flowering.
Soon I'll open a new grow as a comparison to show the two photoperiods, using photos from my grows so that all the interested growers in this strain can see that it flowers better at 12/12.
Waiting for your approval @Sweet_Seeds
That's all for now.
Cheers and see you next time.

DETOX We're entering week 10 and we're cutting at 63 days. They've grown with 18 hours of light and have flowered with 12 hours.
This time, just like last time, I'll be drying with a powerful fan directly on the buds, resulting in the same weed, dried in 3 days, with the same flavor, potency, and smoothness when smoking, curious, right?
There's a lot of myths to debunk, and I love trying everything.
When they're dried, I'll post the weight.
That's all for now.
Cheers, and see you next time.
Great grow as always. Really interested that 18/6 veg and 12/12 flowering seemed to work better. My last Red Pure Auto was stressed by switching to 12/12, but I’d flipped the light schedule to suit another plant and the RPA was a bit early. I’ll definitely try your schedule next.
@Growpotkin, I'm going to take a look at your grows. I invite you to try it out, this is my third grow with them and it works better flowering at 12 hours. You can check it out in my diary.
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience again.
And thank you very much again for the score of 10 out of 10!! 👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!
