Greenbuzzliquids Solocup W/ Mars Hydro

Week 4 Gaining some height...but slowly. I think the initial fall probably set this one back on its speed and slowed down the vertical growth. I did notice the main root was curled around, had odd placement and poked out of the top soil, which typically a plant this young wouldn't do, even with the low soil amount. I also noticed as the week progressed the vibrant green color has started to go down, this too could be a cause of the slow down. However I think it more likely a ph fluctuation, or I'm having a bit of a fungus gnats breakout.... but I'm trying some various remedies available and am hopeful to get them gone. This is my first time attempting a grow in such a small container so there's bound to be hiccups along the way. Thanks for the support and of course any opinions or advice are always welcome.
