Hey there fellow growers, I hope you had an excellent week! We are back for the beginning of week 9 and time sure does fly- I feel like I blinked and before I knew it, here I am and I see little buds popping up everywhere.
I am so excited for all the variety that lies just around the corner! I will be in there watering and brush up against the strawberry pie and will just smell these sweet aromas and then I’ll look ahead and notice what seems to be two different phenos of the gorilla cookies. The shorter one will be the first to finish and I think it’s about time for me to quit adding nutrients to that one. Its buds are the most developed and is also a sweet and fruity smelling plant and is getting nice and frosty! The taller gorilla cookies plant has of course greater internodal spacing and seems to be just a bit behind the other. The leaves also seem to be a bit thinner as well.
The larger of the strawberry pie plant is getting quite pungent in a most excellent way as well! I was in there and removed a leaf that was blocking a bud site and it smelt so delicious I tasted it just out of curiosity if that’s any indication of what I’m gettin off of those as far as smell. It is probably between the two the two gorilla cookies plants in terms of when I expect it to finish.
The forbidden runtz remains in its middle position in the line up and has remain consistent this whole time. Shorter internodal spacing and seems to grow more densely in comparison with the others which is something I made sure to note early as I am afraid to get bud rot or some other shattering issue that one can run into late in the game.
The other strawberry pie and forbidden runtz plants I think were adversely affected by the shade they were getting from that canopy (as one would expect) and are smaller than their counter parts but still seem to be doing well considering.
The countdown has begun especially for that one gorilla cookies plant, and the nutes will stop soon- now for that one, and I am interested to re assess the situation next week and we’ll see if any of the others are there.
Anyway that’s about it over here- I hope you all have an excellent week and we will catch you next time as we continue to countdown to harvest! Grower love💚🤙🌱
