I started this little girl in a coco coir "core" nestled in FF Strawberry Fields (no nutes yet). I made LOTS of mistakes as I completely underestimated the requirements for growing cannabis, and I was afraid that she was stunted. I think she's coming along nicely.
Surprised to see tiny white hairs forming. It's official, she's in preflower!
This week I moved her into the grow tent, and I'm trying not to fuss over her as much. I'll start nutes on her in the next day or so (I know, I'm late).
I'm really pleased with how this plant is progressing!
This week, I stopped being a scaredy cat and did some LLST, light low stress training, LOL! There are many bud sites that needed exposure, so I felt like I have to do something.
Up until this point, I haven't given her any nutes (only microbes) so I did some Incredible Bulk for the preflower and bat guano for nitrogen. So far, so good!
I guess it's safe to say she's officially flowering!
She's bushy as hell, so I did some moderate defoliation. There are bud sites all over the place and I am getting braver with the scissors while trying not to stress her too much.
I also reduced the footprint of my 4x4 text by half because I now know that my lights aren't strong enough. The plants seem to appreciate it!
She's starting to scare me.
One day, she had a couple of bright green leaves. The next day they started turning yellow. I'm not sure if it's because she's flowering or missing something.
I do need to do more defoliation.
This damn plant....
A few bright green leaves turned into massive yellowing. I gave it Cal Mag and more Incredible Bulk, but I was hesitant to give it more nitrogen because of flowering.
Did I screw up? Probably, but her sugar leaves are starting to get frosty so I will see how this turns out.
I'm also battling heat at the moment. It's unseasonably warm here at the moment, so hopefully this battle is short.
This little girl has given me hell.
I got a TDS meter, and she was starving. She's still yellowed at the fan leaves but they needed to be pruned anyway. I'm going to up her nutes.
She's smelling really good though.
Poor little plant.
She has exhibited every deficiency known to man. I finally got a TDS meter and fed her Cavern Culture for P, fish fertilizer for N and molasses for the microbes. As the week progressed, she started to look better and her flowers are slowly fattening up.
She's getting close!
Trichomes are mostly milky, still have a lot of clear and an amber here and there. She has shown a deficiency in some form or another throughout her flowering but I did what I could to correct. I've learned a lot for sure.
What a wonderful plant!

I think I'll just let this plant do her thang. I should have started LSTing last week, but was hesitant. I still may be able to train, but honestly, I'm concerned about stressing this plant too much. From what I've read about autos, you don't get to make mistakes.
