Project: Mars 1 revised! (Purple Squad)

So I decided to revamp my room and move things around, I have things the way I want them for the next bit and I will be pushing forward on this project now. Over all things are going well with no real complaints as of yet. I decided to adjust the room so the plants where all the same age to make it easier on myself. Strains featured in this run are as follows: Purple Ghost Candy from @Seedsmanseeds and Banana Krumble from @Greenhouseseeds. Big shout out to @Marshydro for sending me some gear to launch this new project so that we may travelle the cannabis universe together! We turned the lights on and transplanted into their starting homes! Watered 1/2 cup at 550 PPM. Day#2 Pictures N/A. Ladies seem to be liking their starting home. Day 1 since watering 1/2 cup at 550 PPM. Day#3 Pictures N/A Ladies seem to be growing along just fine. Day 2 since watering 1/2 cup at 550 PPM Day#4 Pots still feel abit heavy so ill give them one more day before I water. Pushing their second nodes. Deff 2 different phenos of Purple Ghost for sure! This will be an exciting turn out. Day#5 Watered ladies 1 cup each at 550PPM. Banana Krumble#2 may need some special attention to catch up to her friends but I'm sure she will do well! Day#6 Pictures N/A. Ladies are growing and stretching along, lowered the light to stop the stretch. Day 1 since watering 1 cup at 550PPM. Day#7 Pictures N/A. Plants are pushing their second node well, Banana Krumble#2 is slowly doing stuff to catch up! Day 2 Since watering 1 cup at 550PPM. Recap: Things went well for the most part this week , we got them going! The ladies are showing good signs of growth , Banana Krumble#2 is a little slower then the others but I'm sure she will perform just fine. I had to lower the lights abit because I found the plants to be stretch looking for the light hopefully this remedies the issue for them. Over all very pleased with the way things are going and dont have no real complaints.

Welcome to the start of week 2! As we travel the cannabis galaxy the plants are growing along, I expect by the end of this week we will be looking to transplant if not the end of this week then shortly after. I'm thinking I will change the positions of the plants to allow for maximum air flow to and through the plants. Big shout out to @Marshydro for allowing me to grow with their gear! I'm excited to see these ladies all grown up! Big shout out to @Seedsmanseeds and @Greenhouseseeds for the really cool genetics to display! Day#9 Growing along still working on that third node. Day 1 since watering 1.5 cups at 550PPM. Day#10 Ladies are growing along just fine , pushing their new nodes. Thinking I'm gonna back off on the water just a tiny bit from 1.5 to 1 and 1/4 cups. Day#11 Pictures N/A. Ladies seem to be doing well , I'm thinking they will need to be transplanted soon! Day#12 Pictures N/A. Things are starting to pick up , the ladies have started to develop some branching , will be transplanting tomorrow. Day#13 Just as I suspected three of the ladies needed to be transplanted. Watered 1.5 cup at 550PPM. I will only be running the three plants this run. I've gifted the one banana krumble to a friend trying to learn to grow. Day#14 Pictures N/A Ladies will need extra care they did not like the transplant. Day 1 since watering at 550PPM. Welcome to the start of week three , the ladies aren't as happy as I would like them to be but that will change in no time. Banana Krumble is still not stretching out the way I would like her too so I have a feeling I'm going to have to train her extra to get her to spread her wings nicely. Im hoping to have the ladies back on track by the end of the week so I can begin training them. Big shout out to @Mars_Hydro for everything they are doing for me. They looked extra thirsty this morning. Seem to be recovering from transplant nicely now. Day#18 Pictures N/A. Ladies are picking up on the water absorption. Looking like I'm going to have to water tomorrow. gonna increase the water to 1L since the ladies are in big air pots. Day#19 Watered ladies 1L each at 550PPM. They're starting to pick up now won't be long till we are in full swing of veg. I plan to make these ladies real big! Day#20 Pictures N/A. Ladies are growing along but they aren't going they way I want them too. Gotta evaluate the situation and correct some stuff. Day#21 Pictures N/A. Ladies pushing new nodes, Banana Krumble is recovering from topping in attempt to make her less of a tight plant. Day 2 since watering 1L at 550PPM. Gonna give them an extra day. Recap: Things are going ok , I'd like to say I know why this grow is lacking so far but Im having an issue diagnosing. I will be giving these ladies more attention each day till we can dial in the grow. My issue stems from transplanting them in giant 7G air pots from a 6 inch pot. I will not be repeating this mistake. Over all the plants are still growing just not as fast as I could normally do it. We will be growing out some serious trees this round once I figure out my issues.

Welcome to week 4 ! We're still working on making the plants healthy again. My problems have been stemming from under watering which I will be adjusting. Over all I'm not concerned they will bounce back quite quickly now. Not my smoothest grow due to lack of time I have, but I will get it done and the end results will be stellar. Day#23 Watered ladies 1L each at 550PPM. Pictures posted are from before watering. Day#24 Pictures N/A. Ladies are nice and perky water increase went well. I'm going to increase again next watering. Day#1 since watering 1L at 550PPM. Day#25 Ladies are still perky , You can see the deficiencies starting now due to under watering. Deff going to be increasing water. Day#2 since watering 1L at 550PPM Day#26 Pictures N/A. Ladies are starting to get super thirsty again. Gotta increase the water to 2L instead of 1. I'm not giving up on this grow. Day#27 Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 2L at 550PPM. I'm going to keep increasing the water slowly. Day#28 Ladies seem to like the water increase. Going to try increasing again on next watering. Picking up and recovering nicely. Recap: Things are going ok , I think I've found the solution to my problem. I thought I was over watering when it turns out I've been underwatering. I will be adjusting the amount over the coming weeks to get it really dialed in so they recover quickly.

On to the start of week 5! To say the least the ladies are going to make a speedy recovery , I'm going to try and top them this week provided they show me they're growing ok now that I've adjusted the water. Won't be long till we see some real explosions of growth! I'd like to shout out the breeders from this @seedsman and @greenhouseseed co. Your amazing and keeping doing the great work your doing. Things seem to be picking up now, ladies are still displaying signs of thirst after 2 days so Im going to increase the water to 3L next feed. Day#30 Watered ladies 3L at 550PPM. This time I got some abit of run off, about .25 of a litre come out the bottoms. I topped PGC#1 and PGC#2. Day#31 Ladies are recovering nicely, they're exploding in new growth it won't be long till I start LST training. Day#1 since watering 3L at 550 PPM. Day#32 Ladies are nice and perky. Ladies are recovering nicely with the water increase. Coming back to a real nice green now. Day#2 since watering 3L at 550PPM.

Welcome to the start of week 6! Things are starting to pick up now. Going to be applying some training and then I'll be looking to start flowering sooner then later! Welcome to week 7 , this will be our final week in veg as the plants are starting to get to a fair size now. I've changed the plants spots and will be adding some netting to train them further. It's going to be a packed house in here with some lovely flowers! I ended up waiting abit longer to flower then I normally would have since my other room was breeding and I wanted to make it so there the least chance of pollen contamination between the 2 rooms ( Males from breeding has been removed and the room has been cleaned ). Welcome to week 1 of flower!! Where gonna pack this 4x4 with some lovely flowers. I installed the first of 2 nets to help support the plants as they stretch and grow their flowers. I will be adding the second net for more support closer to when the ladies are done stretching. Welcome to week 3 of flower ! Things are going well in the garden as the ladies are just exploding with growth in their environment. Welcome to week 5 of flower on Project Mars 1!!! The ladies seem to be done stretching now and things are looking like they're thickening up nicely. I'm excited to see the flower development now that we have reached half way and their primary focus will now be on flower growth. With 5 weeks left things are starting to look pretty promising, the nose on these plants are amazing like sweet candy mixed with a fruit I can't quite put my finger on just yet and the structure of the plants along with trichome production is on point! Should be a good finish. Welcome to week 6 of flower for these lovely's! Things are going really well for them and the smells are starting to get pretty wild to say the least. Both my phenos for Purple Ghost Candy are very very different from one and other #1 is like pink candies I don't know how else to describe it as #2 is still candy but has a very loud kush smell to it , very unique and lovely for sure. Banana Krumble smells like fruit punch kinda with hints of banana its really pleasing but she's very sativa oriented and may take longer to finish then the other ladies. Very excited for harvest day in the near future for this project. Ladies are soaking up the rays and pumping the flowers. PGC#2 is gaining colour on her flowers starting to turn to a nice light purple colour. Day#39F Colas are starting to get thicker, Purple ghosts are hard like rocks while Banana aren't as dense yet as shes showing no signs of slowing down. All around beautiful buds! Day#40F Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 6L each at 550PPM. Leaves on PGC#1 are starting to turn purple. Thinned out the plants abit to allow air flow. Day#41F Took away some more leaves and tried to spread the plants open a bit further to allow that air to get through. Smells like a candy heaven in here! Day#42F Watered ladies 6L each at 550PPM. Some colas are reaching the size of a soda can now! Smells just absurd of like a pink lemonade candy storm with bananas haha. Recap: Things went really well this week , we started to defoliate a bit allowing for more airflow to the plants but we still have some left to do. I decided I would let the plants recover a bit before doing some more. The buds are getting really thick and tight specially for the Purple Ghost Candy strain. Banana Krumble isnt far behind but to me I got a super sativa pheno of that strain going and she will finish at 70 days. With lots of time left on this grow Im excited to see the results at the end!

Welcome to week 7 of flower for this lovely group! Things are deff starting to look like they are ripening so we will look to begin flushing in the next week or so. We got some wild nose happening now in the room, PGC#1 smells like grape koolaid candies , PGC#2 smells like gas and candies and Banana Krumble smells like a smorgasbord of awesome very hard to identify the exact smell but its deff a combo of light banana and berry fruits. All the plants trichome production to date is on point! Over all really happy with the way things are looking after 7 weeks of flower. Day#44F Pictures N/A. Ladies are growing along, starting to stack on the frost really nicely. Day#45F Watered ladies 6L each at 550PPM. Colas are bigger then a soda can now! Day#46F Growing along, thinking I may defoliate a bit more in the near future. Day#47F The smell went from strong to ABSURD over night!!! It smells so good in this room! Watered ladies 6L each at 550PPM. Day#48F Pictures N/A. Plants are really starting to get some colour now, purple in the leaves on PGC#1 and 2 Day#49F Watered ladies 6L at 550PPM. Ladies still showing almost no signs of slowing down except for PGC#1 which the pistols have turned amber for the most part. Recap: Things really progressed this week , with lots of the pistols turning orange/amber on PGC#1 and 2 they may finish abit earlier then the 70 days I set out. Banana Krumble is progressing well, the pistols are starting to turn orange a bit while the flowers continue their growth Im thinking this one will be closer to 70 days like I set out, she came out very sativa dom hybrid. The nose on these plants is absolutely intense everyday it seems to get more and more pronounced with each plant and their unique smells. Over all I'm really excited to start flushing over the next couple weeks!

Welcome to week 8 of flower for this wild project! We will be looking to check trichomes over the coming days to see how things are coming along. I know for sure PGC#2 will be ready far before the rest but we will check all of them none the less. As we reach the race for the finish line Im very pleased with what i've accomplished with these plants this grow! Keep giving inspiration to grow! -The Projexx Day#50F Pictures N/A. Ladies are starting to slow down on new pistol growth and focusing on ripening up. Day#51F Watered ladies 6L each at 160PPM. We've began flushing them. Day#52F PGC#1 leaves starting to turn quite purple, Banana Krumble still has a while to go. Checking trichomes tomorrow. Day#53F Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 6L each at 160PPM. PGC#1 trichomes are doing well mostly cloudy little amber, Banana Krumble still has lots of time to go and PGC#2 is almost ready displaying lots of amber and lots of milky trichomes gonna give her a few more days. Day#54F Pictures N/A. Banana Krumble still thickening up , PGC#2 is looking quite ready and PGC#1 is far behind her sister! Day#55F Harvested PGC#2. Watered ladies 6L at 160PPM. PGC#1 is turning more purple by the day quite the lovely show! Day#56F Pictures N/A. Banana Krumble still thickening up but displaying more orange pistols , she's gonna be a 70 - 77 day girl but I'll get big rewards! PGC#1 ripening up daily! Recap: Over all things went super well this week! We harvested the smallest plant in the room and ended up with almost 500G of wet weight roughly 6-7 ounces off that plant dry, she smells very very gassy with light hints of candy and fruit very pleasing combination to say the least. We are coming up on the finish line quickly for this project Im excited to see what the other plants will yield!

We did really well this round with this strain even though she grew very different from what Im used too. We ended up with a half pound of some excellent smelling and tasting cannabis!

Was a fun harvest we got lots of kick ass buds with excellent trichome coverage, gonna hang dry then cure! Update : We got her tested and she tested at over 30% with a overall of 27.58! Beautiful plant!
