This is the first time I'm growing an auto flower and i thought I might not be able to do it.
My plans was to grow the girls in soil, as normal plants grow and in the next couple of weeks substitute water with with hydroponic nutrients I got a tiger bloom from Amazon
And the instructions say to mix nutrients every other week, having the week in the middle being just water
Later on I came to liking this method of adding nutrients every other week
The girls seem to take take it well and had no deficiencies throughout the grow.
A very distinct aroma followed with a great growing rate
Really started to show sings of a great breed with powerful life frequency
This breed is a great plants I highly recommend anyone grow this verity.
After adding the cal mag this grow started to take shape
Right around the 10 the week the colors really started to pop up
Checking for the first amber pistils to start appearing
Getting really excited with this grow
This was a great week for the girls
The smell really comes before you see them.
By this time, I had a carbon filter in place and with LST and defoliation they really take a really nice bushy appearance and creates enough strength on the stems to carry its own weight, no need for Scruggs.
Not sure what exactly happen that lead to plant #1 to become a hermaphrodite but I have since noticing it. Haveharvested this beautiful plant, before it could potentially make my other plant a hermaphrodite
I have a couple theories
Theory 1
My heater failed one day for a couple hrs until I ran to homedepot and bought another one
Theory 2
There was a rolly Polly insident where they where consuming the plant when they broke the surface of the ground since I use organic soil it has a very diverse ecosystem in Every pot
Theory 3
There was a moment in the summer that alot of nats where flying around and after doin some ready I read that insects can trigger hermafrodism .
(which was the biggest plant in the previous dairies )
Over all just happy to be growing.
Everytime I have a failed harvest, has taught me alot more than my successful ones.
And everytime it's still and unbelievable feeling to be apart of the life cycle of this beautiful plant and to be able to harvest and joy the fruits of my labor are the icing on my cake.🎂
Good night. 🌃
