Day8: Everythings fine, the girls are growing well. :) There are many gnats flying around but they immediately drown in my DIY humidifier.. as soon as the planties get moved to bigger pots, I will add nematodes to the soil. Watering isn't per day! It's the amount of water I give every 2-5 days, once 2/3 of the water is gone. The lights are dimmed to 60%.

Potted the girls from 0.5L to 5L pots using biobizz Allmix, Lightmix & wormcastings 45/45/10% + Green House Powder Bio Grow 2g/L The new girl's another Double Banana Kush, coz I figured I will need much of that weed. ;) Falling for Kush more and more.. How huge the roots are compared to the tiny plants.. this is.. when you think nothing's happening.. there are roots growing like crazy! :D _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Watering isn't per day! Wohooo I love the green! Big up Green House, so far that powder seems to do a great job. :) Topped & bent her on day 22. She is the tallest of the girls, with huge leaves. My blue baby is doing great! I removed one huge leaf on top to let some light to the shoots.. Had a trillion gnats flying around, tried a new method: put a 1/4 culinex tab (to repel (kill) mosquitos in water reservoirs) in 10L water and added some molasses. These tabs are labelled organic, they work through bacteria who let the little gnats explode inside. :D Yes, if you're a grower, you have to choose sides and you have to do what a grower has to do!! I'm in steady communication with Bluey, she is growing and I am bending. Potted for the last time! :) Soil was mixed with Green House Bio Bloom and watered with a little bit molasses, then I let it activate for 2 days.. Removed some leaves + shoots and switched to 12/12. This is the time when I give valerian flower extract once to set a hormonal sign to start flowering. Everything is stretching and bending and starting to flower! :) Stretch startet on day 41. Blue Dream girl is very bitchy, I cut down on the calcium and fed her a bit Epsom. Probably my idea of mono calcium is not sooo great. Seems to lock out the Mg sometimes. This is the 3rd week in the big containers, so I drizzled 1g/L Green House bio bloom (mixed with some soil) on the top soil. The powder stuff smells nice! I suspect it to be chicken poo tho.. :) Very very very happy with that fertilizer! It's the first grow without overly red stems, which I thought was inevitable because of my strong LED lights.. I also started giving enzymes once a week. 5ml/10L My Blue Dream started to show Mg deficiencies, so I added some Epsom to my water mix. Too much Ca and the Mg will get locked out. Idk if the ratio is right, at least I have an eye on my EC which I raised to 0,5 now. The Lemon Power Haze is growing without any complaints, I loooove her! <3 Defoliated regularly, and after stretch was over, I removed some shoots as well. The plants are between 50-60 cm after the stretch. Not too high hahaha.. but the stems are fat & the nodes look great. 4th week of flowering!! Added Enhancer this week, I will add molasses every other week from now on. Defoliated for the last time. Now I gotta sit back and be patient. Gnnnnnnnhhhh... o.o No canna juice for a long time, sigh.. The Lemon Power Haze has bright red petioles.. maybe because of the defoliation? As there are no other signs of deficiency or excess, I will just watch it from my chair of patience. The Lemon Power Haze stinks!! Uaaahh.. it's pungent and a really strong smell on top. The Blue Dream started smelling as well, a really nice berry odor, quite strong as well, like saving me from the skunky lemon :D Can't wait, can't wait! What a nice berry smell! x.x Love it! It's the end of flowering week 4 already and some pistils start getting brown. More and more white pistils are developing each day, buildung dense buds everywhere. So pretty! This is a juicy strain, I love how it grows. I changed the nutes a bit, because I feel that the soil doesn't bring the pH down anymore. After 5 weeks in the same container, this can happen. So my water has a pH of 7,5 (with Ca and Mg even 8). I started to add the minimum dose of 2ml/L Greenbuzz more PK, and this results in a pH of 6,5. Should be enough. The Lemon Power Haze started to show signs of P deficiency, leaves showed symptoms really fast. I first react on the high pH, for this could cause the deficiency. Run off pH was 7.. not too high tho. Pistils are turning brown on all the buds, I was wondering if it was not too early.. new pistils started growing today, this might be the last wave of pistils. So excited! o.o I water 4L every 4 days atm. The Blue Dream is doing great with the Green House Feeding. I only used a minimum dose, and then I started adding Greenbuzz Liquids more PK last week because of the high pH of my water. I could have had bigger buds with mineral feeding, but I am so very pleased with the terpene production. That's much more important to me. The plant overall smells like berries, and the resin smells like pine resin when you touch it. The structure is strong and firm, there is no support needed, and I can see the buds fill in nicely all along the stems. I'm so in love. Blue Dreams are just wonderful, if you ask me. :) This plant is just so easy going. I see leaves turn yellowish and even purple at the top. That's ok for me in this stage. I cut off a little bud, I cannot check trichos otherwise. And I want to try the smoke. Trichomes are all clear on the lower buds, that's all I can say. I do not exclusively look at the trichos for harvest. I see the plant evolve and the whole appearance is much more important. My Blue Dream lady was put to darkness at day 87. She looks all autumn-ish, trichome are cloudy, not so much amber. But the pistils.. I couldn't take it no more. :D I will update the album this week when I chop her. :) She didn't take 9-10 weeks, I even changed the first flowering week to be the second, because I now start counting flowering days from 12/12 switch. So it's begnning of week 8. This is the endddddd.... 💀 Blue Dream is a wonderful strain, it was my pleasure to have her in the grow room. <3 The plant responded well to LST and defoliation, topped her once, had minor magnesium deficiencies, that's about all. The flowering time was really short, I was surprised. End product turns out great tho. :) Buds packed with resin, relaxing and harmonizing effect. Fantastic! Buds still need some more curing but you can really smell blueberry when opening the jar. Yummy! Good job, breeders of Zammi! <3
