Had to grab these when I seen em! Wanted to jump on the apple fritter band wagon and exotic genetix is as good as any of em! If not better! Seeds popped within 24 hours of hitting the dirt..however one of them cracked open and then just stalled out. It shriveled up and died. Have 4 more beans and will pop them soon. Didn't want to try and pop another and it be at least a week behind the others. These and all the new varieties will see flower in about 3 months. Should be plenty of time to get big enough.
Figured out I didn't have enough light to my seedlings trying to keep the vegging plants from out growing the tent. Have fixed that problem and with the tent opening up after this week growth will improve drastically.
Remaining fairly happy and has taken my neglect over the holidays pretty well. Got some better light intensity hitting these girls and growth will be improving moving forward. Hope this variety turns the black color I've seen in pics. 4 beans remaining and will start them soon.
Topped this girl and will be transplanted in the coming week. She has already developed a nice skunky smell and can't wait to see this one flower. The pics I've seen out there are very nice..purple almost black leaves and flowers. Covered in frost. Will keep around if she takes to clone easy enough.
Starting to take off after topping. Man this plant smells great! Very happy and healthy and loving life right now. She's got that dark almost black look to some of her leaves. Looking forward to seeing this one through!
All these new varieties got some new shoes this week to keep em happy. Smells so good for a plant in veg. Will be transplanted again in about 2 weeks before flower.
Won't be long and be heading for flower. Will most likely transplant in the coming week. Really nice structure and will take a couple clones just in case.
This one has not stretched much and is not as bushy as others. Slowly removing leaves everyday and it's drinking a lot of water. Weekly dose of big bloom, cal-mag, and molasses. Hoping for that dark purple/black pheno.
Top dressed this week with fruit and flower plus earthworm castings. This one is another stretcher and sort of lanky. Or leggy. Took to clone pretty easy.
This one is starting to impress..smells great already and is packing on the resin. Right up there with the wedding cake x banana butter cups cross. Very happy to have 2 clones that rooted and already in dirt. Hopefully it's that black or dark purple pheno.
A lot of the hairs have started to die back on this one..which is kinda strange for this stage. Seems early to me..I've checked for herms real well on every plant and haven't found a single one. Pollen causes the same thing to happen this early..but confident there isn't any present. May just be a trait of her. Probably smells the best of all of them so far and right now smells like freaking apple pie. Also a very frosty girl.
This one has started flopping over..not so much from weight..but the branches are kinda flimsy. The smell is amazing...definitely smells like apple pie. Or something like that. Very strong odor.
Definitely will be the first plant to the finish line. Most likely a 56 day finisher. Hopefully pushing her longer won't be an issue. The smell is wonderful and has an apple pie thing..mixed with caramel and cinnamon. Very unique. Has shown a slight defiencency..possibly phosphorus. Really the first plant to show any problems since going with this organic super soil type method. Will give some secret sauce and see how it responds..not really an issue this late in the game in my opinion.
This poor girl has had a lot of tops fall over on her and getting shaded out. She is basically finished at this point so she is just riding it out until chop. Going to make some changes next run to prevent this from happening. May even lose the net all together and go with individual plants..just for a change of pace. Use bamboo stakes as support. She still smells amazing and is very sticky. Going to run the clones I have again depending on final product.
This girl has been finished for a week. No changes at all except a few leaves dying back. Coming down in the next few days though. Very strong smell of apple pie or caramel apples. Have clones I will be running again and have applecup from robinhood seeds that just broke through the dirt to compare against. Great terp profile on this variety.
Great pheno of fritter and will be running a clone again to give it a chance to shine. It really didn't get much room or light this go. Have more beans from the pack and can't wait to pop those. Also a applecup from robinhood to compare to. Can see why the apple fritter is so popular. Very unique smell and taste.
