Feb 28 feeding....wasnt planning on doing another feeding so soon but Lynn has suddenly developed some yellowing on her leaves...definitely some kinda deficiency as I've been feeding once a week at most and usually with less than recommended concentrations....hopefully it gets corrected, so far Lynn has by far the most enticing buds, sparkling with crystals and a wonderfully sweet bouquet. Mar 2 - I'm beginning to wonder about sulphur def. so I added some Epsom salts to ph=6.3 water today and checked the runoff from Lynn, 5.9 which is a little acidic but I think still within acceptable range. I'll ph balance my water a little higher from now on to try and raise it in the soil. N and K should be covered with the nutes, taller plants arent being stressed by the lights and I cant do much about the low humidity at this point so I think I've done all I can to try and correct this issue, now I gotta wait, my least favourite part of this wonderful new hobby :-/ Mar 4 - after further reading, I realize acidic soil would explain the deficiency (s) even tho they're getting plenty nutes. Watered with 1 tbsp sodium bicarb in a gallon of water. Even before doing this the discoloration seems to have stopped so hopefully we're all good. Vera's getting some nice red/orange hairs and they both smell so good I've already started another Gelato bean for the next round.

Just spotted two yellow/orange spots on Vera, my young GelAuto. The bigger one is visible in the pic, the second is smaller and on another leaf. What is she trying to tell me?

I checked out your diary and did just a slight bit of research and I believe you're dealing with an excess of nutrients. Potentially this could lead to lock out and being that she's so young we don't want to stunt her so... I recommend feeding plain ph'd water for the week and see how she fairs. Or you can do a flush for a day or two until your run off ppm is much lower than it currently is. That's how you know you're flushing out the nutes. I think she can be saved by cutting back on nutrients until she looks hungry again. Good luck growmie!

Some yellowing that developed on Gelato Auto in the last coupla days....my guess is nitrogen deficiency since feeding has been light throughout growth but I'm still new to the game and would love to hear from some more seasoned growers

@gottagrowsometime is correct, this is certainly a potassium deficiency, and with you being in late flower the plant could be telling you she needs more potassium which is important in the flowering stage, I wouldn't say you have a lockout after checking out your diary everything seems fine except for your humidity, low is good at this stage but not that low. Lol. It should be around 40-45%. With very low humidity, the plant is drawing water from the soil at a very high rate, and if the humidity is too low, the plant is unable to draw water at an equal rate through the stomatal openings. The result is that the plants close their stomata, which slows the photosynthetic process and leads to stress, slow growth, and compromised yield.

In regards to your recent grow question - I believe the lower leaves' color changing would be attributed to natural color fade at this stage. If you look at the colas, you can see a color fade from green to purple - very faint currently. Kinda what leads me to think that... so you may even want to lower the amount of nitro she's getting come week 6. Girls are looking awesome! Hard to believe you're a 'noob'! Keep up the solid work, growmie. Cheers! - RWI ๐Ÿ˜

Man you do go all in don't you. 1000 watt led is something I meet in my dreams. Hoping to get the mars FC 8000 for co2 growing in a few months after I master a few more grow, well after I leave the beginners circle and join the big bud crew Another top grow with dense buds, what more can any grower ask for.
