Growers choice autos

BackyardGardner They're both growing great, pineapple has a few deformed leaves, tangerine dream doesn't but it has 1 4 finger leaf. I'm going to top them both after the 4 node starts. Just to see if they can be topped. With a smooth precise cut they shouldn't slow down much if any. I wish I knew how long they'll stay in veg, but the description doesn't tell you and most diaries are different by weeks( in veg and total time)autos are just unpredictable.

BackyardGardner I topped them a few days ago. They seem to have responded pretty well. I'll lst the rest of the way.

BackyardGardner I've been pretty aggressive with defoliation and lst. I have a pretty even canopy forming on both. They both have about 10 branches I tied down. Hopefully they have a sativa type stretch.

BackyardGardner To be honest these plants shouldn't be in this tent at this time SMH. I hadn't gotten my photo seeds yet and got antsy. I started these a few days before my seeds showed up. My original plan was 4 photos in a scrog. I'm not sure I can make these work with my photos in a screen. I have a friend I could give them to vut they're growing really well. While I was trimming the leaves throughout a few days, I noticed leaves I took from nodes with small underdeveloped growing tips would be half the size of the opposite side with its leave still attached. So I figure don't take any leave from a tip that doesn't have 2 nodes or 2" leaves of its own. See pic for 1 for what I'm talking about

BackyardGardner I gave them to a friend so he'll be finishing them. They are very bushy. About 20 tops on the pineapple, 25-30 on the tangerine dream. I'm pretty pleased with the growth on both.

BackyardGardner They have about 25 tops a piece. The tangerine dream has more and us behind in flower development by about a week. No problems except the 1 I created. I misdiagnosed a root aphid issue. They were soil mites. Harmless/somewhat beneficial from what I understand. He used h202 to kill them. It didn't really affect them though.

BackyardGardner He's giving 1/3 what Fox farms recommended. He says it seems to be the most without burning. The tips are barely yellow. They're definitely thickening up now. First set of pistols have browned on the pineapple. His last run produced Larry gg4 auto buds from growers choice. Hopefully these don't turn out larfy

BackyardGardner I think they look great and smell fruity. Best looking autos either of us have grown. I'd say 2 weeks on the pineapple and 3 on td. So 14'15 weeks for autos seems long

BackyardGardner These girls are getting heavy. The tangerine dream is frontier in person. I think it'll be the better plant. The early topping and lst work led to a pretty perfect canopy. I expect about 4oz per plant. Maybe a little less. I have no complaints about these seeds. He grew 2 gg4 autos from growers choice that are larfy trash so I was worried. Trikes are 30% milk standing up tall, white hairs about 50/50 so Probably 10-14 days left on these 2.

BackyardGardner I seen them in person today. They look awesome, smell fruity. I'd guess 4 oz a plant. Which I'll take as a win. I've never got over 3 on any autos. I'm gonna run Maggie's think like budda outside this year and then I'm probably done with autos. (Unless they really are 1lb autos). I think the pineapple has another week. The td a little longer. He thinks they're both done 😔. Hopefully I can talk him into waiting. My rule of thumb is when you think it's done,wait 1 week to chop. The bud packs more weight on that last week then any other.

BackyardGardner They're in the home stretch now. I think the the pineapple looks done. The tangerine is still a week out. They smell fruity and skunky.

BackyardGardner Plants loved topping. Only complaint I have are the seeds. I won't be running growers choice again. My buddies gg4 got renamed gorilla poo. He's grown ethos 🔥 a few times b4 so I think it's just genetics.
