Nothing interesting to report.
Plants are growing: humidity (40%) is about as high as I can get it during winter.
So they might need a bit longer than normal vegetative period. Hopefully as plants get bigger that will help too.
They are growing. Better than expected actually in this low humidity.
Left for most of the week to see family, my friend took care of them while I was out.
Transplanted them into big pots, roots already getting bound in those cups.
topped the plants mid-week after they recovered from transplant.
they are recovering from the topping now, which was 3 days ago.
i'm basically leaving them alone, they are doing their thing.
plants have recovered from their topping last week and are growing fast again.
doing some LST to stretch them out sooner than later.
lowered the lamp to be closer to the plants (but it isnt on 100% intensity).
increased the temperature a few degrees in the daytime.
toned down the exhaust to allow a little more humidity.
plants responded positively to these changes.
Plants seem happy: nothing to report.
Gonna have to start letting them grow nice and tall now :)
Hopefully, they allow me another couple weeks vegging before i have to switch to 12/12
They are growing vigorously, 3 inches taller but also a few inches wider, too.
I adjust the ties every day or so in the morning, and they all put up with the torture well.
tweaked the temperature, esp. night-time: it is easy for me, and i want to reduce stretching.
blasted the whole tent with neem this week as a preventative measure.
cleaned up a little on the bottom of the plants.
they seem fine, grew about an inch a day despite me messing with them.
I will give them a few more days before changing the light cycle, but it won't be long.
Began mixing bloom feed in half and half.
Some branches are still a little floppy/wimpy, hoping they straighten themselves out.
Started 12/12 light cycle on Feb 6, now for the fun part 👍
they are stretching, drinking more, and eating more.
i got entirely too many leaves and need to do at least a little cleanup before it becomes a problem.
Plants are drinking a lot, less stretching, more flowering.
It is a good thing since I am all out of space :)
I cut out the veg nutrients and just give them more water and food, didn't do much of anything else.
Plants are growing happily. The little buds are growing bigger and the resin is showing up.
Dehumidifier kicked on for this grow for the first time as we have had warmer temps here.
good growth, but things started falling over everywhere.
installed a trellis net and got 80% of this jungle supported at least... it is better now.
very smelly. after working on the plants then it takes carbon filter some time to clear the room.

one of the skywalker plants is angry about salt buildup in the soil.
you can see the deficiency in the leaves of the last picture.
continued very light feeding to work on correcting this.
watered about 2x-3x the usual amount to flush some of this stuff out.
not really a "flush", just makes lots of runoff. I don't want to stress them more.
afterwards I cranked heat and lowered humidity a bit.
I expect they will need another treatment of this.

finally the first hairs start to turn red on the LSD plants. they look like they want to flower for a long time.
there's a little light/heat burn on some of the tall stalks directly under the light. I will see what I can do about it.
skywalker buds are getting fatter. the mutant two-headed flower looks a bit silly now.
I think the nutrient issue is mostly corrected, the runoff ppm/ph is much improved.
The LSD buds are slowly fattening up. They are still eating and drinking a lot. I'm trying to be more cautious about keeping PH in line.
One of the skywalkers is starting to ripen and the plant eats less. I won't feed this one anymore.
The monster LSDs continued growing, after checking runoff, they still needed more food.
The skywalkers are maturing faster and one plant wasn't fed this week.
Lowered the temps and humidity.
It was my second grow ever, so I wanted something easy to grow with some old school genetics. I recommend this strain for beginners. It put up with everything: overcrowding in the tent, overfeeding, you name it. Really one of these deserves to have the whole tent to itself, they wanted to spread out huge. I saw some nanners at day 62 flower, but it was no big deal, just time to harvest I guess :)
I got this as a freebie, it grew huge buds. One of the plants was a little picky about nutrients (i overfed all my plants). The other had some crazy mutations. But overall it grew pretty well
@roberto420, that's awesome man. The LSD I grew wasn't a tight bud structure, very airy, I may have stunted it at some point, but I also avoided HST on it, so who knows. My LSD is getting at least a month in a jar. It had a zillion sugar leaves compared with the bud structure. Never grown Skywalker, but it's a great strain. Had some Palpatine tonight for some anxiety. George Lucas a stoner?
@@Cannabis_Chris, it is all stable in jars and trimmed. the LSD dried faster than the skywalker, maybe due to shape of buds. skywalker smokes really good already. the LSD maybe could use maybe a bit more time in the jars, it is improving.
