First week has been quite successful! Got 4 girls popped. My biggest issue I feel has been regulating heat! But after some trial and error we are at an average of 70°
Update 1: Temps plummet at night, I think the basement may be to Cold. Maybe the cold will help them 🤷♂️
Update 2: it's been 7 days since the first seed popped, 5 days for 2, and 3 days since the last one popped. My humidity and Temps are garbage, time to reassess this. Blankets all around, small doses of 6.7 pH water. Will start Introducing fox farms big bloom next week
These bad girls are shooting up! The forum stompers took a couple extra days to germinate, not gonna lie Im a little worried about them. My 2 wedding cheesecake girls are doing amazing! Hyped for veg!!! Introducing Micro doses of nutes into feeding this week. Ph came up a bit, not mad about it.
Fiiiiiinally got those Temps dialed in! Slowly but surely they are finally rocking!
Explosive growth on both wedding cheesecake, forum stomper is trucking along right behind. Thinking about switching over to gold leaf from fox farm nutes but still in research mode! Week 3 starts tomorrow, hopefully my cold Temps didn't stunt growth to bad.
Update 2: 4 days and we are at a steady 81° daytime, 75-76 night time. Pretty steady at 55-60% humidity. Been doing tons of research on water Temps and how they effect the plants growth and nute intake. Decapped my jugs and let them get up to temp! Lots of reading about different nutes needed, amazon here I come!
Update 3: cal mag, and some microbe tea on its way by fox farms, figured I'd stick with fox farms this grow and see what it can do. Started some lst with some makeshift broken hangers, not working the best lol
Starting some lst last week, my makeshift devices were having a hard time sticking so i got some string. From looking around at other diaries I'm worried these things are small! Added some microbe brew and cal mag from fox farms and they seem to be eating It up!
Update 2: Cropped 1 wedding cheesecake and 1 forum stomper at day 21 just to experiment, they seem to be handling it very well! Left the other 2 alone and just doing lst on them
Update 3: End of week 3 is going amazing, good veg growth, good recovery on the topped plants, maybe these babies will actually do some good! Regularly feeding them about every 3 days. Temps still rocking at 81, humidity tops at 60%! I love this ac infinity controller, makes thing super easy!
Dear lort these things exploded! Week 4 and we got some pre flowers! Everything seems to be going pretty well with consistent Temps! 81 during the day, 76 at night, humidity is hovering below 60. Next feeding they will get a micro dose of some tiger bloom to really help set it off!
Update 2: Fed in a tiny amount of tiger bloom, cut back a bit on the grow big. I'm so excited for these buds to go boom!
Update 3: I read about plant chiropractor sessions and how it promotes heavy growth, I knew it may be risky but I shot my shot! Each stem got popped all the way up and I only broke one off! Nervous but hopeful, I'll check on them before I go to bed.
Update 4: ho Lee crap.... Dr. Juice the plant chiropractor at your service! All 4 of them absolutely loved it from the looks of them. Adjusted some of my lst, got a really nice Even canopy! Every single stem feels like a branch now, very very sturdy plants. I found some mushrooms growing in my medium. Fertile soil and big roots, gonna have some killer fruits!
Update 5: I'm raising my light every day it seems like, each plant gets a half a jug of nute water every 3 days, nice slow pour to help flush those left over salts out!
Update 6: It's time for flower! Slowly switched over my nutes to tiger bloom. Starting to get some smells
Week 1 of flower, I slowly switched from grow big to tiger bloom and they seem to be loving it!
Update 2: Drinking a lot! Did some defoliation and cleaned up the lower branches and some of the bigger fan leaves. Dropping my Temps and lowering my humidity slowly.
Update 3: Day 6 and oh buddy was I excited to open that tent and see some actual bud formations! Good healthy feeding in the morning!
Week 2 of flower is looking good! Shifting the humidity and Temps down very slowly. I topped 1 of each plant, and left 1 of each alone with just some lst. The topped plants are banging!! The lst plants are banging too! All around I'm doing okay, a few gnats here and there but nothing serious! First grow is going awesomely!
Update 2: We are on day 10 of flower, I'd say like 50 days over all and starting to see some nice structures coming through. I've done so much research and watched soooo many videos (thanks Mr. Canucks if youre out there!) And I think these bad girls are doing amazingly!
Week 7 and these girls are putting in work! Not as big as I would have hoped for but for a first grow I'm still excited. Let's pack these buds on! I'm sure if you've followed my diary you've noticed the 5th plant in the back and probably wondered, "hmm what's that." That is an ethos "Chem pluto" and it smells like straight gas lol. Can't wait to start that diary up!
Update 2: Well after some defoliation and additional lst I snapped a lower branch on the forum stomper. It looked horrible, but after tying it to the next branch it looks like it's healing. Gonna be a big Ole moose knuckle lmfao. Dropping Temps down to around 76, keeping humidity around 45%. Feeding every other day with nutes with some runoff.
Update 3: So I thinned them up, but I left the forum stomper go until last night. Check out the snapped branch and I literally can't believe that it grew back together. I figured it would start to die off but it looks unphased! It got a much needed hair cut.
It's been fascinating watching these buds start to really stack this week! I think the forum stomper plant had a really bad fungas gnat infestation, it started to discolor really badly and the texture just got really rough. More peroxide water, defoliation, vinegar traps and top dress. Stupid little things!! Other than that I'm about to start decreasing the nutes slowly on one of each and begin flushing them out. They seemed to grow a bit faster than the other 2
