This grow is an attempt to grow my favorite strain of all time. I've made several attempts to find an original cut but sadly this strain has seemed to disappear. When I had the pleasure of trying this strain 10 years ago, I was immediately fascinated with its terpene profile. Very strong aroma of lemon and pine. The high instantly evoked positive thoughts and a huge grin on my face. I felt very creative and inspired. After that I could no longer find the strain, nor could I find any cuts or seeds. I can only hope that one of these seeds has the original genetics. They are regular seeds so I will be keeping the strongest male and pollinating the strongest female. Fingers 🤞 Update: 8/10 sprouted so far giving the other 2 a chance. Went ahead and planted the 8.

End of week 3 from seeds Plants are very happy and healthy. Lots of lush growth. Fan leaves are enormous. Still no nutrients used yet but I will start them today. I'm aware of the crowding so when I find out which ones are male, more space will open up.

1 week since I kicked the lights to 12/12 4 plant showed pistils and 4 showed male pollen sacs. Im still happy 50/50 is better than having a tent full of males 3 of the males were killed. I got lucky with a really nice looking healthy male that smells like pine. Looking forward to making a nice inbred line.

Wow these plants stretch like crazy. Even with the light close the sativa genetics really take over. For some reason these plants are flowering really slow. I have pistils but the buds aren't growing very fast. I'm guessing this is a sativa trait but I've never grown sativa dominate hybrids. I defoliated and pruned the lower 1/3 of the plants yesterday. The male plant is in a separate 2x2 tent in another room. My question for everyone is, which female should I pollinate? The really tall one on the left or the shorter one with the thick stem? Or the one that is a mix between the two? Happy growing!

Is it normal for sativa dominant hybrids to flower this slow? I'm two weeks into flower and still only have 2 white pistils at the internodes.

As long as there are no light leaks and your not peeking in on her during her sleepy time then yeah its totally normal im afraid. it suuuucks!! My Caramelo is 70% Sativa and shes in same boat your girl is, I have heard that if you give any strain heaps of nitrogen at the wrong time (like now) it can mess with the flowering and the plants trys to grow a bunch of leaves instead... But I have never seen it personally or had it happen to me so its more bro science there. In saying that most veg boosters say very clearly not to use them in flower as they contain plant hormones to encourage veg growth...So as long as your not doing any of that- its normal as. when you switched did you go from say 18/6 right to 12/12 or did you give her 24-48 hrs of pure darkness in between?? Many pple, myself included, swear by turning the lights off for at least 24 hrs right up to 48 hrs and then go 12/12 after that. It forces them to flower faster-you can knock 3-4 days off easy with that trick. Dont worry, by week 3 it will look better.

3 weeks into flower I think they are finally done stretching but holy cow this strain stretches alot. The plant all the way on the left got too tall. Lights could not be raised anymore and it was a half inch away from touching the diodes so I had to top it. I harvested some pollen from the male. I didn't want to let every pollen sac open to minimize pollen floating around my house. There is no smell yet to report. But budlets are forming and plants are looking healthy. Plant Lives Matter! Happy growing!

Buds coming in slowly but surely. I accidentally fed them tablespoons instead of teaspoons the other day but they are pulling through strong. I spot pollinated a branch on each plant and the pistils on those branches turned brown which means the pollination worked.

I have yellowing and rust colored leaves in middle of all my plants. I am in 2 gallon pots, fox farm ocean forest soil. Currently feeding fox farm tiger bloom (2 tsp/gal), fox farm beastie bloomz (1/8 tsp/gal), fox farm big bloom (3 tsp/gal), calmag (1 tsp/gal) water ph 6-6.5

Your Lights Temps and RH are all in check. This is leading me to think its a lockout in the medium from a buildup. PH for soil is best between the ranges of 6.4-6.8 no need to go down to 6.0 in my experience. Do you use an TDS pen to monitor the solutions concentration in EC? This is a big tool that is almost always needed when using liquid nutrients. this article goes a bit into it. growdiaries.com/journal/what-is-electric-conductivity-ec-and-total-dissolved-solids-tds My guess is you need to lower up on the feed as fox farm brand feeds heavy. Best Of Luck!

Today I attempted to fix the lockout issues. I switched to ph adjusted tap water and flushed the babies. I hope it works. Hopefully I'm not too late. The buds smell like lemon cleaner right now.

This strain over reacts even with the slightest feeding. Attempted to flush with ph water then re introduce nutrients at half strength. Plants still burned. I give up now. I'm just watering until harvest.
