Soaked them in some filtered water for about 12 hours and then paper towel method FTW for 1.5 days. Finally placed ze babies directly into some Happy Frog soil that had been mixed with 10 percent perlite and 10 percent worm castings to 80 percent soil. Dynomyco was added to soil mix at about 5ml per gal of soil. Nectar for the Gods One Shot granules mixed in at 5ml per gal of soil.

Topped them all at the beginning of week 4. Too dressed some COM organic plant food at 5ml per gal of soil as well as 5ml of organic worm castings from COM. Continue my watering regimen of every 2-4 days depending on when the plant looked thirsty.

Snowstorm caused a power outage for 3 days prior to the photos of this week. Hopefully they bounce back from being in the dark for soo long! Need to transplant them this weekend as they have outgrown their pots! 4x4 will hopefully be in soon with a new light to go along! Update: Middle of week 6 transplanted 3 out of the 5 plants into a 3 gal as they were showing signs of stress due to root bounding. 4x4 and light is delayed due to snowstorm -_- So once that arrives I’ll transplant the other 2 plants and transfer them to larger new home! Excited for week 7!

Week 7! White widow finally got some new shoes! Mykos all up in those roots and hole in some COM stonington blend soil with some COM worm castings. All ladies transferred to their new casita. 🏠 Brand new 4x4 Spider Farmer with a SF4000 to go a long. I hope they enjoy this upgrade as much as I already do! A few days in the tent top dressed a little more COM worm Castings with a 5ml per gal of organic plant food from COM. Started watering 2 liters of water per plants every 2 days thus far. Trying to gauge correct amount of water needed.

We have entered week 8 on these girls. The new home and new light have certainly added weight and color to these ladies! Defoliating lower growth a little each day. Day 59 top dressed Coast of Maine’s fish bone meal and organic plant food. First time using foiler spray with filtered water ph6.5 same as the one used for watering but now with 10ml per gal of water of Coast of Maine’s Liquid Kelp Concentrate. Once we reach the end of week 8, week 9 will be flower time. Will likely rotate one of these plants back into the 2x4 to allow 4 of them to fill this 4x4 as I think the 5 now might be too crowded. Just not sure if I want to take out Seedsman’s White widow or Seedsman Orange Cookies x Nicole since I’m running 2 of those. I’m leaning towards taking out one of the 🍊 🍪 though, that way I’ll be able to compare the difference under 2 light conditions. One under the Mars Hydro and the other under my new Spider Farmer.

Coast of Maine kelp concentrate arrived so I added some to a spray bottle as directed on ze bottle and did some misting foliage spray all up on those leaves 🍃 After a little more cleaning up of lower branches and some tough love bending, I topped dressed some worm castings, COM organic plant food and new addition, fish bone meal 🐟 a 20/80 % ratio in preparation for flower. My usual watering of a hint of calmag with Fish Head Farms 🐠💩 but this time I also incorporated some of the Kelp concentrate. Then on the night of day 59 I flipped them to flower! I noticed the growth from the transplant of a couple weeks ago to the last couple of days was starting to really take off! So I figured it was time to flip and play it safe in my given space. Day 61 I moved one of Seedsman’s Orange Cookies x Nicole into the OG 2x4 tent. I then placed the trellis in the 4x4 and 2x4 in preparation for these ladies to explode with growth! Day 66 - Day 7 of flower. Defoliated a good amount! Mainly lower and largest leaves that were blocking sites. Also, I am seeing signs of flower!!! 🌸 Stay tuned!

Week 2 of flower! This is so exciting! They have been stretching a little already and I truly hope it doesn’t stop! Gaia green power bloom cause why not since it’s slow release. That was added on day 6 with a little more worm castings. Growers recharge was added for the first time and next few days after watering my plants were noticeably happy campers! I really hope They thrive. Stay tuned!

Grow Questions

Hello fellow growers! I’m wondering when is too late to transplant a photo? I’m on day 9 of flower and want to go up to either 5 or 7 gal from my current 3 gal (ones in the 4x4). I’m not sure if it’s too late for me to do so or even worth it? Any input is greatly appreciated! 🤟

No my friend, dont do it. The time to re pot is 2 weeks before you switch to flower. this gives a few days for plant to settle and recover and some time to grow out new roots and take advantage of the new space. if you re pot now the plant will get shocked and basically do nothing for up to 4 days, usually only a few but if your rough it can be a few more. So you lose a few days of growth and can even stunt it a bit if that strain doesnt like shock. Then your telling the plant "here- have some space for your roots now" So the plants starts growing roots and focus's less on the buds for a while-thats a double hit to your production now. Most plants will recover from a repot now with only a small drop in yield (never seen a plant not drop yield from a late repot but prob does happen rarely) but some will really hate it and just refuse to do much after and just stay small and look poorly, the buds never really grow much bigger or fill out much more. So not worth the risk is it? The idea to repot is to let the plant grow bigger roots so you get a bigger plant and a bigger yield right? So you need to plan ahead and re pot before the plant out grows the pot its in, but dont repot the plant too soon either as a real small plant in a big pot isnt very effective either. Rule of thumb to be safe- transplant 2 weeks before switching to flower and you be fine pretty much no matter what happens after that.

A little late with updating this week D: Nearing end of week 3 on these ladies and it’s fascinating how they change ever so slightly day by day! I see some noticiable frost on day 26 of flower! 🌸❄️ Week 4 is about to be terpy! The aroma in the tent is already fruity and citrusy! 🍊 Can’t wait!!

Week 5 of flower🌸 Week 14 total so far! I sort of skipped week 13 on here sorry :/ However! The aromas coming from the tent are exceptional! Powerhouse melody of citrus 🍊🍋meets earthy & herby-notes 🌍 🌿 The buds on these ladies are starting to put on some weight 🤤 And I can’t wait! Changed up my water from home filter to reverse osmosis water. Still adding 🐠 💩 with every watering!

Week 15 of these ladies kicking’ it, living it up. So many fond memories and lessons learned thus far. Almost saddened to know the chop will soon cometh in just a couple of weeks. But at the same time I cannot wait! The Watermelon Zkittlez by Barney’s Farms in the front right of the 4x4 is the smelliest of the bunch. Oh, and I mean that in the most admirable way! The terpenes in this tent our memorizing! Mandarin and Citrus with a little bit of gas ⛽️and earthiness🌍 smack you in the face as I unzip my Spider Farmer tent. Back to watermelon zkittlez for another second! It exhumes sweetness and citrus notes! It sometimes reminds me of a cashew apple (cashew fruit), marañon as I have known to call it! I nearly want to take a bite! I am quite pleased thus far and stoked for these colors to start popping! Runtz Muffin is developing some dark purples hues in the sugar leaves with red undertones in the underbellies of the leaves 🍁 I’m sure it’s about to look like fall in these final weeks. Stay tuned!

Opening my tent transports me to a miniature autumn fantasy Forrest! Hues of yellow, orange, red and gold stand out across the green canopy. Gassy and citrusy terps make themselves present upon first whiff! Like a fruit stand next to a gas station lol ~1 more week till chop time! Can’t wait for these ladies to dry and cure! Stay tuned!

Happy Harvest Day!

White widow was a bit of a rebel off the bat, her displeasure in the stressors as well as started off as the runt of the group in the early stages. However, something happened after a much needed transplant and a good sprinkle of mulos prior to flipping to flower and her growth became vigorous! She ended up yielding the most out of my 3gal ladies this run. Overall she became a bit of a beast! Nugs are beefy and the scent is that of sweet berries and earth. I’d grow again! Can’t wait till she’s done curing in my grove bags!
