12/23: Soaked a single Lemon Haze seed in small measuring cup filled with water for 12 hours before placing it in a damp paper towel inside a ziplock bag sealed 90%. I leave the bag slightly open to allow air to enter/escape
12/25: Placed the germinated seed into a solo cup filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog soil with 20% perlite.
Week 3: She’s really started to grow over the last 2-3 days which means she’s healthy and happy. Still getting fed nothing but water pH’d to 6.5. At her current growth rate I think she will be ready for transplant in the next 5-7 days. Topped her at the 5th node on day 19.
Week 4: Rough start for this girl in week 4. She’s actually growing really well and has great root structure just that she’s used up all the nutes in the solo cup and is hungry for more. I decided today was as good as any to transplant so on Day 22 she got moved into her 5 gallon final home. The bottom 1/3 of the pot was filled with the remaining fox farm strawberry fields soil I had and the top 2/3 was filled with fox farm ocean forest mixed with earthworm castings, Down To Earth Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, and 4-4-4 Vegetable bloom. I also added Extreme Gardening Mykos to the transplant hole and plant root ball. To complete the transplant she was watered in to a pH of 6.5. Middle of the week she was fed a high nitrogen compost tea of kelp, alfalfa meal, bat guano and worm castings.
Week 5: Started to LST as she seems to be over her transplant shock and early magnesium deficiency. New growth looks really good and she is loaded with super tight mode spacing. Hoping the LST brings some light to the lower nodes and she starts to take off and grow more in the next week.
Today starts week 6 of veg. She’s probably doubled in size over the past 4 days. I’ve continued to add Fish Sh*t to all of her waterings and will now be adding recharge once a week along with bloom city silica boost. The plants have really responded well to having these added to their waterings. To start the week I also amended the soil with Down to Earth 4-4-4 Vegetable Garden and 7-3-1 Bat Guano along with a healthy dose of earthworm castings. Plan is to veg her out another 2-3 weeks before flipping to flower.
Week 7: After 6 weeks of veg. she is a very healthy and happy girl. She’s finally over grown the diameter of her pot and filling of like crazy. She is incredibly bushy and has been difficult at times to train but I’m very happy with how’s she’s been doing the last week. She also seems to be loving her new light. Like the Durban will be flipped to flower in the next few days once she is settled into her new tent. King
First week of flower begins for this Lemon girl. She has pretty much loved life since day 1, growing like crazy and showing almost zero issues. Just like the other two plants in the tent she is showing lots of pistols after a flip to 11 on and 13 off light schedule. Trellis net was added to the tent as I fully expect this sativa girl to stretch quite a bit over the next 2-3 weeks.
Week 9: Through 8 weeks this girl is just killing it. She has showed zero issues and has loved life. She drinks about a 1/3 gallon of water every other day. I’ve been adding fish shit to every watering and have now added Cal-Mag along with Re-Charge once a week. I have done some super cropping to control the height of some of the colas and will be continuing for the next week so I can get an even canopy through-out the tent.
Week 10: She is onto her third week of Flower and growing well continuing to thrive. She has been kept on a regular feeding schedule with fish shit every watering and re-charge with cal-mag once a week. Since this is the start of her third week of flower she was fed Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4.
Week 11: Onto the 4th week of flower for this girl. She is happy, healthy and developing nicely. I’ve been sticking to my regular feeding schedule as I’ve seen zero reason to change anything. She wants a drink every other day like the other two girls in the tent. Each plant has been given a 1/3 gallon of water which leads to slight to minimal runoff.
I think the pictures speak for themselves with this girl. She is just loving life. Through 29 days of flower she has shown zero issues, is building frost and is packing on weight. Of the three plants in the tent this one impresses me the most. She has a full and even canopy and each bud site just looks amazing. There will be zero changes to the feeding schedule, really looking forward to watching her fill out the next 4 weeks.
Another week in the books for this Lemon girl. We are into week 6 of Flower and everything continues to go well. Her buds are the chunkiest of the 3 but also the smallest as most are around golf ball size while the Durban and Grape Ape have buds as along as a babies arm. With that said her flowers are some of the prettiest. Great leaf structure and shape, as of now she is the least frosty of the 3 but with another 3-4 weeks left to grow a lot could change.
6 1/2 weeks into flower and zero issues. She has smaller nugs then the other girls in the tent but the densest buy far. These things feel like golf balls their so firm. Also a very different bud structure from the other girls bigger leaves more densely packed as the others are more spaced out. She has a strong lemon smell almost like a fresh cut lemon, very citrusy. Like the other girls in the tent I would say 2-2.5 weeks until harvest so she will be getting just water from here until finish.
On to the 8th week of flower for this joy of a plant to grow. She smells like lemon candy, is loaded with trichomes and has the densest nugs of all the plants. Best way to describe it is oversized golf balls. This strain has been super easy to grow throughout, I think she will be ready for harvest around the 9th week of flower.
Another week in the books for this girl and she only has one more to go. She’s stopped adding weight over the last few days but continues to add frost. I’ve also noticed that she’s added some purple to buds as well. She is going to have great bag appeal with very large uniform nugs with great frost and color. I can only hope that it translates into great smoke as well. She will be harvested within the next 7 days as well.
This girl was a joy to grow. Another strain I would recommend from Pacific Seed Bank. From germination to harvest she did exactly what she was supposed to.
@S7AUGHTERHOUSEV, Thanks! To be honest I wish I took some photos of her right before I chopped her down to hang, I was in a rush and just wanted to get them into the dry room. The leaves/buds started to get a little purp in them and after trimming away some of the bigger fan leaves they looked awesome. I’m excited for them to get dried and trimmed.
