Did first water change. Roots are growing down into the water and branching nicely. Started with 1/4 recommended nutrients and then adjusted ph of solution.

yes.
You also want to add in some CalMg as your growing in coir.
The spotting on the leaves is indicating its need some of that.

ChitownCannaChica is right, pH will most likely out of range. As ec goes up pH will drop.
