Hello. This is the end of veg stage and the beginning of 10 weeks of flowering.
I did last week a good pruning of sucker branches and removal of a lot of fan leaves. The plants have healed and I have turned the lights over to flowering. That's 12.5 hours on and 11.5 hours off. I like that extra 1/2 hour first thing to warm up the room and plants before their first feeding of the day. The last feeding of the day is at 5 p.m. and the lights go off at 8 p.m. That leaves 2 1/2 hours for the pots to drain before lights out. My next pruning will be at 2 1/2 to 3 weeks into flowering. Let the plants heal for about 3 weeks between pruning's and you won't have problems with plants going hermie unless other stresses are involved (light too close, temp swing too high between light on/off, pests and mold).
With spring coming I've been thinking about what I'm going to do this year in the greenhouse. I made a cross of Amnesia Lemon and Dr. Atomic Northern Lights #5 about 18 months ago. I call it Lemnesia Lights about 75% indica and I hope to be crossing it with Super Sativa Clubs - Kosher Haze about 60% to 70% indica. If I can't find a good male in the Kosher Haze I'll see if I can get a good male from the Lemnesia Lights to make the cross stronger. The Amnesia Lemon from Barney was mold resistant and that's the way I'm going to try to go because we have a lot of powdery mildew outside around here in the last 1/2 of the summer.
O.K. till next week. Chuck.
@Chucky324, hmm yeah i was aware of its properties actually it was more a personal opinion query really but i think we can all appreciate the extra knowledge provided :) Thanks and GL with the grow!!!
@Sublyme_ness, Hi Buddy. I haven't ever had any problem with copper. I like copper because it doesn't rust. I the hospitals have found that super viruses can't live on it's surface, it kills them. I put copper wire in the soil to hold up my seedlings without problems. Garden tip: slugs and snails won't crawl on it, put it around you outdoor plants. Chuck.
@Chupadeos, Hello. Here in Canada it's the Department of Health that looks after the medical licenses. So I would start there. A internet search would be a good idea. Just ask google. Chuck.
